For me its not that fast compare to how fast it go up before it reach its ATH at almost $20k, I dont really know the reason what is the cause of this price increase on crypto right now and I also dont care Because Im not relying on every news because I dont really care about the current price right now wether it go up or down I will not sell my part even its just a little because I trust it.

Probably due to Fidelity allowing their customers to trade crypto which will help more institutional investors join this ever growing market. The good thing is that negative news like the Binance hack and Tether controversy did not faze it too much and it continues growing organically.

Yeah, It seem's like the FUD didn't get into the Bitcoin investors this time.
Maybe we are just immune to those negative news and didn't really care too much right now .
Most of us are now watching as the price continue to slowly climb up.

Bitcoin continues to lead the market dominance with a higher percentage than we formerly have it's currently 58.0% according to the data from the popular coinmarketcap. This shows the level of trust people have on the bitcoin than any other coin in market. This will continue until the bitcoin upward movement stabilizes, after which we can have a fresh breath for altcoins.

FOMO paired with market manipulation and hype from different people. It wouldn't be possible to rise this fast if April 1st didn't happen, as it was the primary driver of all things bullish right now. Most moolah is also pouring in from altcoins to bitcoin at a crazy rate, as evidenced by lousy trading volumes for the altcoin market. Right now, it's just people afraid to miss out an opportunity to make some handsome profits, but it could always be more than that and we will never know.

Maybe it's because of positive news coming out about crypto recently, cryptocurrency/blockchain tech being adapted and tested by some financial institutions, cryptocurrency development, and a lot more caused the steady growth of the market. I agree that even with the FUD and recent attack on binance and tether issue did not even affect the market with a big impact.

The growth of bitcoin is not as fast as compared to the recent bull-market, but the current growth of bitcoin is more realistic and I think it more sustainable compared when it rises in a fast-pace.

That's very good, I got a lot of profit from the pump, but with price of bitcoin going too high, I will need more money to collect more bitcoin, what do you think the best way to get more btc besides buying it?

Bitcoin rising at this rate is still slower compared to what happen last bull run,what will i do? just sit back and relax take some coffee watch some movies be back on bitcoin and convert all my holdings easy as that.Bitcoin is now going strong and i feel the bull run already im hoping it will come soon

It doesn't seem like there is some clear analysis of current situation but IMHO everything bad that could happen with crypto market already happened during the past year and at the same time crypto envioronment became better and all crypto related services either closed or increased the quality of their service. So current picture only shows us that it is time to see some green market now.

Basically, Bitcoin's price depends on the purchasing situation of the people who invested in cryptocurrency.
But before the purchasing takes place, there must be a good news that encourages huge investors to put back their money in Bitcoin, plus the people FOMOing during the price starts to climb consistently.

It's obviously more investors present on the market and demand is bigger but I would be very careful with fast price rise. This can often turn the other way around. Although now the price is not so sudden and not even continuous, some smaller corrections are happening all the time. Anyway, I prefere more steady, slower rise than instant pump.

I was surprised when I saw the change in the price of Bitcoin. Prices are changing rapidly in the past few days. Now I'm thinking of investing more in Bitcoin. I am sure that there will be an increase again so that it can make me reach a large profit margin. Yes, this could be one reason why the sudden pump we witnessed in the last 24 hours. So everyone jump on the bandwagon again, specially those who have left long time ago when the price goes down. And then there are smart investors who constantly shift their funds around. As you would noticed the dominance of Bitcoin has jumped as well. I guess when we are in the bullish sentiments no one can stop this hype train, not even news of a hack of one of the top exchanges right now.

Its starting to smell like bull run to me, but i guess this enters the realm of speculation. I hope it stops climbing so we can enjoy the higher prices longer, just saying.

In my own simple opinion, the reason Bitcoin is continually rising is because the market is expecting it to rise. This is becoming like a self-fulfilling prophecy. The market is now very positive about Bitcoin and this is shown by its rise...the demand is getting bigger for now so this is the energy that pushes it to go up. I am not seeing good developments on the horizon that can be catalyst for this movement and in fact we have the Binance hack lately but it did not deter Bitcoin from going green. Now, the next can be: Will there be some corrections soon?

I am happy to see this good news, the market is getting better for bitcoin. I sell some of my assets, because I am sure that one day prices will fall again. To anticipate I leave money to buy some bitcoin.

I think it's because of the high demand these days.
Investors see a good future out of the increase so they're buying to accumulate more believing that the market would rise higher. Sometimes, our belief changes the market situation. The price increase is also increasing the hopes of investors that the bull run is approaching.

I am very glad to see Bitcoin successfully overcoming the $6k barrier. It seems clear that since the beginning of April the market is experiencing some serious positive movement, marking the end of the bearish market. However, let's not forget how it's been stuck between 6 and 7 thousand for months before. It's early to say how much time it will take to move forward from this diapason. I think we should patiently let Bitcoin take its time on this one. Fast bullish movement is not a good thing.

Yes, in recent days bitcoin has increased.

There is no official information that can explain the price of bitcoin which has been continuously increasing in the past few days. I still stand outside and continue to watch bitcoin's moves in the next few days, I don't rush to participate at the moment. everything with me is still unclear to conclude that we have a bull market.

I think we are seeing more financial institutions exposing institutional investors to Crypto currency investments now. <Fidelity> This is pushing more and more professional traders into Bitcoin and higher amounts of money are invested into Bitcoin now. <Indirect investment is also being done by people who are hedging their Bitcoin Futures investments.>

I am just going to hoard my coins until we pass the previous all time high again and then I am going to take a little bit of profit again and rinse and repeat that strategy until I can retire filthy rich.  ;)

It never happens the same way twice. Something will have to be a catalyst for the bullrun. ICO's were the cause of 2017. bullrun.
The next once could be caused by something else.

Negative news cannot pull down the price because of huge potential of bitcoin to rise further. More traders now were looking forward to see great price become more possible to happen randomly. More investors will be much interested to hold bitcoin rather than letting it go at glance, that's why we seem to see fast rising price nowadays.

This is the time that many investors are waiting for, where the price of bitcoin has increased considerably. I'm sure bitcoin can touch at $ 9,000.

The first thing when it all started - speculation.
Then came trust - a very strong bond between the users of Bitcoins and the technology during the few years period.
Then finally comes the money that everyone has put based on the combination of speculation, trust and a lot of adoption going on.

That will be good to see bitcoin rises very fast especially with what we see this day.
The price moves to the higher price now, and it stays at $6000, but there is a chance to see it is down for a moment before it could increase again.
No need to worry if the price is down because the price will increase again and just hold tight your bitcoin and buy more bitcoin if you want.

Rise very fast is objective for each people.
4 years, bitcoin reach more than 500% increment, it still consider fast compare other well known investment although the process takes time !

Price increase for a short period of time is not healthy for long term adoption. This will cause people to think the bull run is happening again and many new investors would be drawn into the hype again then get burned when people start taking profit from the pump.

Yes the market is again witnessing pump and graphs are turning green but still this is not the actual pump as it sudden slow rise.So wait for the actual pump to come and hodl your coins until that period.

I don't know why prices have risen so fast, but I think that can change anytime or more dangerous, and I hope the market continues to grow gradually, but this is a time that many people are waiting for if conditions like this I think bitcoin can reach $ 7,000 in the next few months

Indeed. Due to all the negativities we are always hearing everyday, it seems we are already immune into it which makes us not to bother or ignore those negative thoughts and just focus into the brighter side of the scenario. Now that we are seeing the slowly but surely rising on the price of Bitcoin, we can totally say that patience is a real virtue because the long time of waiting has been all worth it and for now, let us just seize the moment and wait until such time the rise of Bitcoin opens up many opportunities to all of us who keeps on believing into it despite of all that happens.

Now that the market is really becoming green for miners who has long been waiting for this green zone to start reaping the fruit of their patience is when china chose to ban their miners from mining, it is unfortunate that china miners may not get the chance to enjoy this Bullish market we are gradually heading towards.

The market is really getting green now and I think bitcoin price will continue to grow steadily till we enter a full bullish market, this act of banning china miners may even lead us to see the ATH as quick as possible, since we may have very limited crypto supply now. Bitcoin will continue grow in my opinion and the price can hit until the end of year at least 20000$ but always don't invest more than afford to lose because can take time to get a profit if buy on high.

Bitcoin is performing really well. Not sure how long it will hold on, just hoping the best. For sure, the price increase is not builded by icos and other shit. Fundamentals and adoption are much better than 2 years ago. Everything is possible at the moment. Fingers crossed that this fomo hold on  8)

Honestly, i am regret because i already sold my little amount of bitcoin less than price now. Don't know what exactly in USD but 20% less than this current price. And now inot do anything except wait to earn money again.

Where spectators didnt belief climbs like the last few days where possible anymore they are witnessing it now and want to join the bitcoin ride. The bar to not join will be lower and lower when they see the daily rates. 

That is ok to sell, I guess you make some money already. Wait for some retracement and see if you can afford to buy. It doesn't need to be like 1 bitcoin. Just small portion will do and accumulate as much as you can and then just hold into it. That's why those early bagholders did in the days so just be patience and purchase when there is an opportunity again.

I don't make an analysis related to the market. I only watch the price slowly to increase, and suddenly, I see a few pumps of bitcoin price that makes the price can increase higher. There are many possibilities for bitcoin to continue to rise and unfortunately, I don't search from the news in out there because I only check on the market itself which could give me a sign to see the price increase.

We will see $8000 soon, and I guess that we can see it in the next week if everything runs like this. The trend still go up, the line still on the progress to reach the higher price, everything seems to work fine, and that will make the price could break the higher price in the next weeks, I hope. But I see that we have a chance to see the price will make correction in the market because usually after the price reaches the higher price, the trend will go down for a moment and then back to increase again.

So if you guys do not know,  what affect the price,  then it's simple. It's just us for which the Bitcoin price is increasing.
Bitcoin follows supply and demand policy. I mean if the trading volume will be more then the price will increase.

If you look at 2017, when the price of Bitcoin for 45 days soared from $6 thousand to $20 thousand, now it’s quite a normal price increase. By the way, this time there is a chance to see the price of Bitcoin above $20 thousand, so now there is an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin and wait for higher price marks than now.

There was a recent interesting statistic from Tommy Lee, that most of BTC's yearly growth in the past has occured over just 10 days. Of course this doesn't mean such a trend will continue, but it may at least for a cycle or two more. Quick google search of Tommy Lee should pull it up.

What do you mean? bitcoin has always been adopted by investors, that's why it remain the dominant coins so far. We just have a correction, after always going berserk in the last 24 hours, it slowed down and settling around $7k, still a good price though, no need to worry, just a healthy pullback.

In fact, the FUD never works all the time. Look at the market now. It booms! Regardless of the different fud circulating, this only indicates that investors are really used to it and did not get affected. I think there is a positive news regarding btc that is why it increases and pump up high to $7,500.

 A healthy pullback indeed, after the market undergo from long bearishness we can now speculate a bountiful progression will continue to arise, because we are witnessing a gradual pump of bitcoin and hopefully it will continue to exceed exclusively profitable. Lately, bitcoin arised immensely and started to reach the desirable peak.

That is why i am regret. Because i use it for urgent thing. And only in a few days bitcoin price get pumped. But i think it is ok because i already grateful and sell on profit price point and at least not loss in trading.

But the stable coin was preventing bitcoin to grow. this time people realized if stable coin is a crap thing. Yeah it suddenly rising so fast, its too fast in my opinion, usually when rise that fast there will be huge correction, I think this rising because more investors invest the fund there are no major news or something big that trigger the rise, so the correction maybe could be big, need to be more careful to invest

That's how it is, if you don't know how to invest, then you will be rekt. Although experience is a better teacher, but sometimes you need to listen to other's as well and used our common sense.

Who would predict some days ago that bitcoin is going to go for an uptrend like this one that we are experiencing right now?
I think that if this trend will continue, we are going to reach 10.000 until the end of May, causing another bull market and who knows it can reach a new all time high.

No one have been able to link this recent price rise to any event and since the cryptocurrency market is always volatile and at that it hard to predict what is truly responsible for this rise, but we are all happy that the market have been turn green after a long period of market crash and continue red chart for the past one and half year now.

I think that the reason why bitcoin so quickly and dramatically grew lies in the fact that at the end of last year it was deliberately lowered by several thousand dollars, and now that the task of accumulating bitcoins by whales has already been completed, it is returned to its optimal price.

I think panic for buying is far stronger than fear because of binance got hack. If we see in the past days the price is low its possible that many people are buy bitcoin on that time. So this is the possibility right now that the bitcoin price is rise fast. This time probably is the beginning of the bitcoin increase same will happened since in last 2017. I think this is the factors that affects the price we have seen as it is continue increasing and there are more investors are buy.

I'm not sure if there are many people who bought bitcoin at the lower price just because they will know bitcoin price will high such this time. Most of them just bought bitcoin at there are some news which can make the price goes to high and I heard the news sometime ago that stated facebook allowing crypto ads on their platform again for the second time after previously we have known that facebook decided to ban crypto ads just because saving their user form the fraudulency caused by the ad. But now after they decided back to accept again then cryptocurrencies price back to up again and seems like will reach $10.000 at the end this month.

Other stable market are still active and growing, the only stable market I have read in the news having issue is tether, and I have not yet confirm if it’s really the one that caused bitcoin to shoot up in price according based on the delisting according to the source, but I still want to believe that this is rumor and bitcoin is just simply rising fast because new investors are coming to invest and also existing ones who has diverted their attention from ICO that we no longer see that much, but if tether news will be true, then I will be a greater news because I agree with you that stable coins have been limiting the growth of BTC.

The bulls are aggressive this month most especially this week. Maybe a lot of people are now turning its face on bitcoin again. I do join you on this,  bitcoin is getting a lot of attention these days and it is a wise thing to do by following the directions of the pricing in other to be able to make good money.  The market is going in the right direction and for those that has been complaining that their investment has not yeilding profits I think now should be another time to test the market again.

I can't believe that we have managed to do 100% profits in just 2 months. Only 2 months ago it was around 3500 even less and right now it is at around 8 thousand dollars and more, that means bitcoin as of right now is the most profitable investment anyone could have invested into. I do not really know what would be the next step from here, could it do another 100% ?

I mean it definitely "could" if that is what we are focusing on but are we really that brave to have that much of a jump once again? I am not really comfortable with bitcoin going up that fast again, last time we jumped high that quickly we managed to break down and went as low as 3 thousand dollars so I am hoping bitcoin will go to those high levels much more slowly this time around and fill up the gaps between the price and the future price.

If you are short term investor and you think the current increase in the value of Bitcoin or any other coins you are holding have reached your target profit then the next thing to do in my opinion is to take profit on your investment.

If you are advising people to follow the direction of the market, you invariably saying that they should buy now in other for them to make more profit in future which I don't really believe is a rational idea at this time that the market is experiencing an upward trend. This is so because, the tendency of its value coming down is higher than that of further increase except if you are a long term investor then that will be okay.

Indeed a 100% profit can be made on 2 months but people who not have money to invest then they not make a profit and also people who buy on ATH will need to wait more to make a profit, but now the price drop again we don't know for sure how much will grow.

This is not a price drop in Bitcoin because market value is depends on current demand of the market condition. So if you analyse properly you will know the price storing time and market value fixing so this is the good time for price raising. All the right crypto currencies are continuous improvement in future market.

An investor's trust in bitcoin is coming back IMO. Because this thing which can make the price countinue to ris, as you may know how the positive news came when we were on the bearish market? I  guess a lot. But the price just continue to down and ignore the positive news, it's just because we are in bearish market and some investor more prefer to choose for leave a while. But now, I can't see it again every investor just focus on the positive news which will come and put aside the negative news. There is an instance when the binance being hacked and at that time the price just met a short correction and after that the price went up again. The bull run sign has been coming and we only need a prepare to pass it.

indeed it has decreased by a few percent, but when compared with the increase it is very inversely. still very far away if you think that prices will decline again. look at the difference in increase and decrease. opportunities to increase again are still very large and all we need to do is make the best possible opportunities by investing Bitcoin. don't panic sell because it will only make the market worse.

People get crazy when they saw huge inclines of BTC price, we all are happy and profiting by now. But we don't need to be confident enough cause who knows these people will well their BTC and cause a sudden drop in price, it happens before and possible it will happen back again.
I feel too much risk when prices go high cause the drop will be that crazy also just like it happens after 2017 bull run.

Have the big days for bitcoin is really coming today, those few dumps will be at its normal happening in a decentralized form of market. It looks good now and people are getting profiting from a long time. I believe there is more increase will happen rather than of decrease, and I'm too positive that we can break $10k sooner. It's a long wait to have this thing but it is worthy enough of waiting.

Volatility has long been its trend but it should not always be viewed as disadvantageous because it still can potentially deliver positive outcome. It has its ups and downs but surely it can recover from crash. Stay patient, price is constantly increasing, don't lose hope. From what i saw and concluded bitcoin jumps so fast because of the very bottom dip which diverts into a good time for the whales while others are in despair and  waiting foe another low and some people starts to doubt when price rise up to 5k above when most enteries goes in the $6k value. A big correction will happen, what's goes up will go down for sure.

And what's goes down will go up for sure. It doesn't matter if there's correction or not. Price will go up again if ever. Also, we entered bull run, I don't think correction will pop up at this moment maybe after we reach $10k or $15k or maybe after we set a new ATH, it will.

The current price increase is really very good, even so much optimism is happening. this is the same as in the middle of 2017. It may be true that the opportunity for ATH that could occur this year or next year is quite large. I hope to see the price of bitcoin arrive at a price of $ 20,000.

The price of bitcoin is really good right now, I don't deny that but you should know that the time to reach this price is too fast, the explosion of bitcoin is like a rocket, it does not slow down step by step, and the consequences of going too fast is something we can see, it will always be dangerous and can die at any time. So I'm not too optimistic about the current situation, the value of bitcoin needs to go sideways for a long time to create stability and sustainability for the market, should not continue to rise too fast.

Now that the market is very impressive, I think the best opportunity for us who are already holder is to encourage those who are the holders of bitcoin to start investing.

The little job we might need to just do is to all collectively create the hype for it by spreading all these positives news, so that many of the investors that has left the market during the last bear might come back and large industries can make haste into pumping big money to grasp from these green market. Some of us have already had enough investment and we are already at the peak, so we just need new investors now in this fast rising bitcoin.

We need to have optimism in the crypto market so that we can survive in any situation. If the bitcoin market is not good to trade, then we need to stay calm for a while. And related to the situations now, we need to search a good price to buy and sell so we can take the profit. But bitcoin now does not rise too fast but it's slowly to increase, and that is good for us because we could use it for making a profit in many times.

I think that Bitcoin is finally out of bear market, but do not get too exited right now. We could see 35% - 40% correction in next weeks. If Bitcoin brake above 8,5k USD per BTC level, nothing will stop Bitcoin to move to area around 10k USD per BTC, in that scenario i expect 35% retracement to around 6,4k USD per BTC. If Bitcoin could not brake above 8,5k USD per BTC, I expect next target around 5,8k USD per BTC.

You don`t have to think about it, charts show line to up in last month. This is a time when bitcoin is rising, and this is not the last time we see that, or the biggest one. I look at this as warming up for the next 2 years, it would be great to see 5 digits price this year, that would be great price to start from next year when halving can push price on 6 digits. I believe in that scenario, and my prediction is that maximum 2 years we need to wait to see 6 digits price.

Obviously, it didn't break the $8.5 barrier. Although there are attempts to breach that price, sadly, not enough push or FOMO, so the market decline so to speak.

But the first target should be $6.4K, at least for me that would be the price that I'm looking for and not < $6k. That's the previous price we have prior the the magical run that push the price to $8k levels so for let's see if that could be the newest lows.

Higher lows must be the 7K, the dip could only take a day or two before it may rise again. Next week a new highs will probably be achieved and if not that 6k will end up being just the new bottom. Either we may not be seeing the price of BTC goes down below $5k anymore. Well, maybe because I'm all positive of the next bullrun.

Yes, such a scenario is possible, but I think that below $6,500 the price will not fall because the bull market has come. After this correction, the price should continue to rise and this time it can reach $9000.

Due to the fact that it was increasing without any news about development or growth of the market, it was normal to see it falling like this. At least we can see that there is a pace in the market.

Also, how is it possible to be a bear trap when the market is so bullish now, maybe you mean bull trap?

This is actually happening from months and it is not the only reason for the recent rise. I remember seeing bitcoin price rise initially in the summer before the downtrend until the end of the year where we generally see a big spike. Anyway, the most important thing is to see a solid consolidation above $7k.

Nah, if could be one reason, but I don't think that it's the main one why the price keeps rising. Bear trap? We are over now, the bulls have taken the market already, so there's no more bear trap whatsoever. I really can't understand why people still thinks that the bear has still control of the market today. Yes, Bitcoin price rises fast but did you notice its price goes down fast too? We need a stable price for the Bitcoin! The quick rise and fast down is not that what we want for Bitcoin! I look happy when I see bitcoin market started to move forward again because ofcourse I have some of it. And many top alts will rises too as bitcoin high as they were underlying into bitcoin. And if bitcoin will totally get skyrocket many ICO projects will get list in different exchanges , especially from those had been stack ast year. which is until not yet get on any exchanges.

I always feel optimistic with bitcoin price. Even sometime it down and increased again, in future it's ATH will be higher than last ATH. Maybe i can't really analyze but i always believe bitcoin price can be really high.

I think it is easy to be optimistic about bitcoin price after it went from $3.5k to $9k+ but it wasn't that easy when it was dropping from $20k to $6k (which then went as low as 3.2k), people were worried about bitcoin literally going to $1.9k first then god knows where because there was nothing stopping it from going down.

Now, looking back we know that it was amazing time to buy as much bitcoin as you humanly can afford at $3.2k but say that to people during the $3.2k and they would have thought you were crazy because the price dropped so much and there was no reason why it wouldn't go down even more. Hence right now investing into bitcoin is still a good idea and it is going up really fast but we are only capable of seeing that because it already happened, we wouldn't be so sure about it if someone told us 3 months ago.
