Title: Does Hyperwave Theory Relevant to Bitcoin?
Post by: Zemomtum on May 11, 2019, 01:28:02 PM
Please do anybody following the Hyperwave Theory by D. Tyler Jenks. Jenks bases his opinion on a theory he calls the ''hyperwave.'' From time to time, he says, various markets pass through a boom-bust pattern, tracing four steps up and three steps down. Although, his theories has worked on most of the traditional market but failed to make impact in crypto space. He said that Bitcoin can only said it has bottomed at the price of $1000 per Bitcoin, now that we are currently above $6500 per Bitcoin, he still make a video two days ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP1ZYG4ebDw) that we should expect a price crash to $1500 level.

How real will this be for thinking back to $1500 or can we conclude that crypto market is different and paid defiant hears to hyperwave theory. With over 40 years in trading, no doubt from saying that He has a domain experience but I am of the opinion that crypto market is far diffrent based on high volatility and fast recovery as compared to stock market. What is your take with this theory?

It is just a theory, he has 40 years of experience on other trading ecosystem, but not in crypto trading. We can't really compare those markets and for one, we are still fairly very young, we don't have the sample data that a stock market can give to those market analyst and economist and apply different theories like Hyperwave or whatever they come up in the future.

Second, this market moves erratically so volatile so it makes it difficult to guess.
