This requires advanced to expert coding knowledge and not a simple "how to" instructions.

To get started, fork ccminer from Github (original: cbuchner1/ccminer (https://github.com/cbuchner1/ccminer)|updated fork: tpruvot/ccminer (https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer))
Then change the code/commit changes as you please.

Or find a fork that readily supports equihash96_5 from this list: external site (https://forum.hiveos.farm/t/ccminer-forks/3400).
Take note: I haven't tried all of them aside from tpruvot's fork, use at your own risk.

If you need support of equihash 96,5 alghorithm - the easiest way is to change software.
I recomend to use GMiner
