Title: Blockchain is showing transaction complete but cannot locate funds
Post by: burnsunit on May 14, 2019, 04:42:33 AM
Hi guys,
yesterday i made a payment to escrowunion via bitblender.
after approx 14 hrs it still isnt showing in the escrow acc.
i doubled checked bitblender site for phsishing and it seems legit but when i made
payment my check id for the mix was mistakenly erased.
ive located the transaction via blockchain it states 70+ confirmations and transaction deposited.
but was hoping to find out whether thats the
correct address for the escrow acc.
so basically im trying to find out the owner of the wallet and check that
it was correctly made.
appreciate any help guys.

You'll have to contact escrowunion, as you made the payment to them.

However, since the domain name is only a month old:
Code:
   Domain Name: ESCROWUNION.COM
   Registry Domain ID: 2380364809_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
   Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.hostinger.com
   Registrar URL: http://www.hostinger.com
   Updated Date: 2019-04-14T19:35:10Z
   Creation Date: 2019-04-14T19:35:10Z
   Registry Expiry Date: 2020-04-14T19:35:10Z
It's very likely you just got scammed.

They plagiarized several other "escrow sites", or they may be owned by the same person. Site archived (https://archive.is/VPSZP).

It's not possible to tell whom the address belongs to but any decent website that allows depositing/withdrawing bitcoins should show details such as transaction, confirmation, addresses, etc. especially one for escrowing funds anyway.

You sadly got scammed, and I wouldn't count on getting my funds back If I were you. The website is nowhere to find online. No backlinks, mentions on Reddit, forums, etc. which makes me wonder how you find the website in the first place.

It is called common sense  :P

No.. honestly.. don't simply send money to a 'service' without doing some research. Check whether it is a legitimate service by looking at reviews etc.
If you can't find anything about the service, that should be a red flag already.

And you can always ask in this forum whether it is a legit service / it is known here.

I am sorry for hear this scam :(
OP you should report this issue on this (appropriate) section, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 so more people can be aware of this scam.
Anyway they claim to have thousands and thousands of users registered, a fake data, since they are online just from 1 month.
