Title: The quest for a better wallet for Doge
Post by: Malvika_sitlani on May 14, 2019, 08:16:59 AM
I am a long-term Doge hodler and I am having trouble finding a wallet in which has stored them. Unfortunately Dogecore is a wallet reduced to the bone, with few features and has the disadvantage of being heavy (as well as having to download the whole blockchain). The Light version is not functional. Please suggest some good wallets for doge...thanks

Certainly, my first suggestion would be ledger or trezor. The best wallets to keep your coin safe, not just for the doge.

obviously if the hardware wallets support this  coin then go for it and buy one but you may not want to spend money for a wallet in which case in my opinion the reddit page of Dogecoin at reddit/r/Dogecoin is the best place to visit for all the links that you may ever need including the legit links to wallets. the community is active and good place to ask your questions too.

I don't know the kind of wallet you are looking for, are you talking about finding a user friendly wallet or what, because I know that we have so much wallet out there that supports dogecoin, the only reason why you might not see some wallet focusing on dogecoin is because the coin doesn't have anything to offer to the crypto community in terms of real life value, the coin is just enjoying the glory of being one of the first coin that came into existence in the crypto market.

Hardware wallet would always be the best wallet for crypto currencies.
I don't want to be rude but for those who are saying that there is no stable crypto then show them dogecoin .
One of the crypto that has been famous but doesn't really pump up like other cryptos.

Ledger nano is a reliable hardware wallet, probably the best of them. It supports doge

As you said you are a long term holder, I would invest in a hardware wallet if I were you.
Another good options are jaxx(desktop) and coinomi (mobile)

I use ledger nano s for Dogecoin and never had any problem, and you can also store other coins on it, and is fast and easy to use. All people who want to hold crypto coins should buy a hardware wallet.
