Title: Resignation from DT @theymos
Post by: Hhampuz on May 14, 2019, 05:59:40 PM
Any way I can be removed from DT without having to trash my trust list or go inactive?

Me too.  I'd also like to be removed as a merit source.
I'm not going to play childish playground games.

OG is now stalking my facebook and sending me PMs, taunting me.

You can be removed from dt1 removing some trust setting by yourself (or blacklist by admin), you can't be removed from dt2 AFAIK

Code:
#3
I will periodically (maybe every month) be reconstructing the default trust list to include everyone who matches these criteria:
 - If rank was determined solely using earned merit, then you must be of at least Member rank.
 - You must have been online sometime within the last 3 days.
 - Your trust list must include at least 10 users, not including ~distrust entries.
 - You must not be banned or manually blacklisted from selection.
 - You must have posted sometime within the last 30 days.
 - You must have at least 10 people directly trusting you each with an earned merit of at least 10, not including merit you yourself sent. These "votes" are limited.
 - You must have at least 2 people directly trusting you with an earned merit of at least 250, not including merit you yourself sent. These "votes" are limited.

Has there been any instance of theymos manually blacklisting someone from DT? Going inactive or trashing my trust list is not optional.

Wow, I feel like a certain segment of this forum has been turned on its head.

Anyway, Hhampuz if you don't want to be on DT you certainly can request that other DT1 members remove you from their lists.  If you're absolutely certain you don't want to be on DT I'll remove you.

Same thing for Vod, but I honestly would hate to see either of you off DT.

When we're talking about merit and trust system, usually it took some time to see theymos make an action. Why don't you PM users who put you on their trust list?

On a side note, there should be an option not to be included as DT, merit source or other privileges.

H, let me know if you want me to exclude you. Maybe ask Marlboroza how he actually got off as well? :P

Agreed but it should be easier to get off both if you ask me... checkbox somewhere in trust settings?

Being on DT makes you a target for every person that OG has ever sent stolen money to.

Anonymous people are easily bought.

Understood. Since I live in a rural area, and apparently Quickscammer has only lived in cities, he thinks it's just fine to post my hometown and possible employer.  Anyone who lives in rural area knows it's not to hard to find someone with a name and a bit of other info. ::)

What I don't understand here is why it's so bad that Ogn got partially doxxed (I say partially because it did not last long) but it's just fine to doxx people like HHampus ?? I mean what the fuck already?

Anyhow, you guys carry on... ::)

Thanks Pharmacist, I appreciate it! I'm just tired of the drama and always having to explain every single action, every time I add/exclude someone from my trust list and even when I merit a post now. As it stands right now I see no gains in being on DT other than continuously being dragged dawn and with me being so emotional it is not healthy. Would rather just keep my head down and handle my business :).
