This is a good prediction for XRP and if this can come true then XRP can be the one next below Bitcoin when it comes to marketcap. Do you think this can really happen soon when there will good news for this cryptocurrency? Will history repeat itself and even more?

And why that speculation doesn't even consider about the effect that will have created by the ripple foundation itself with its premined coin? i just try to imagine about how much bitcoin will worth of ripple worth $4 for each coin.

I agree on your statement above mate because XRP is keep regaining a value nowadays, and in fact its showing a big percentage as well than bitcoin and ethereum on coinmarketcap. So definitely it will grow up more soon than what we're expecting
but unless it didn't fluctuate again especially bitcoin because mostly in the market are affected base on the performance of alternative coins nowadays wherein when bitcoin experienced a fluctuation.

See still we don't have any clue how far the price of Bitcoin will rally but people have already started predicting the price of all other coins. Before reaching the 4$ mark the price of XRP should cross it's previous high value of 3$. So it will take a lot of time, but with the supply, it has it is a very tough job to cross the value of more than 3$.

Already it has got its peak value above $3.5 and based on the same it has got maximum possibilities to reach $4 or even higher. It is termed to be a centralized asset, and if that's true even now it is possible to manipulate and make the price reach $4. The same is not possible with bitcoin, also this time when bitcoin cross $15000 we can expect this to happen.

I do believe that XRP is an extremely strong coin, and I also am very confident that it will hit and pass $4 in the future.

The bit I can't see though is the 'uninterrupted drive to $4'... we had that before at the end of 2017 with the uninterrupted drive to $3, and it turned back almost instantly and dropped below $1 again. Given that happened last time, I can't see it rising that far in a single drive - a lot of people will surely remember their history and take profits out well before that point.

Supply of XRP is the biggest obstacle that makes this coin very difficult to raise prices in the future. I think if Ripple team can think of a better solution, they should buy this coin to burn and XRP can be stable in the long run. In my opinion, achieving the price of $ 0.4 this year can be considered a huge success because XRP has finally been able to raise prices during the past few months. Hopefully this uptrend will last until the end of this year so I can sure that achieving $1 is possible.

Its crypto supply is no longer an issue, just check most altcoins/tokens have billions of supply but it is mostly being traded.

Yes, it could be in my opinion, XRP prices are still relatively cheap and graphs after yesterday's btc increase, xrp shows that it will increase. Moreover, XRP is one of the centralized coins entering the top 5 cmc, this proves that xrp will be the second coin after btc.

More than believing it we need to analyse them because anything is possible Crypto market but going to very deeper situation from a good position is not and normal thing so waiting is not a way to get face them we need to change your decision very quickly for facing them in different way.

That is a good analysis you have made there and I pray this came to pass!  Ripple was around $4 early last year but the condition of the market last year push it backward to $0.008 and even below at the end of last year.  I will said we may be lucky to see ripple recover in a strong way again and $4 will be achievable.

It is not impossible but hard to believe after the latest bear market. XRP is done with the new developments due to the current market situation but they will do amazing things in 5 years, surely. 4$ is only possible if BTC crosses the 15000$.

There's no fool like you if you think XRP is a good investment. All those are happening because a lot of persons are spreading fud in the twitter and here as well. Newbies are the target though. However, I wouldn't invest on it ever.

XRP has a great potential to rise and thus it could rise to good extent and those who had a early investors it invested at high would need to wait for some time before their price comes and they make some profit on their investment done . But this year it will be a good for all crypto coins .

XRP has good prospects, but that prediction will not happen soon. It's difficult to make up XRP price for $ 4, because there are too many coins supply. It seems there is no coin in CMC with the number of supplies like that having a price above $ 2. maybe if XRP burns at least 70% of the total coins supply, maybe the prediction will happen soon.

I see so many Ripple threads now, just because it is becoming 50 cents now people are dreaming of $1 and maybe now even $4 or $10,,, I tell you, this coins is so dangerous. Controlled by a few people and even the exchanges. Yes they have 200 banks on the network but to my knowledge not a single one of those banks are even using XRP as a token, so there really is no utility for it at the moment.

Supply is not a problem that Ripple needs to be concerned about because this coin is actually circulating more than 70% and the remaining 30% is being kept in cold wallet by owners so don't worry too much about the problem. What I am most concerned about is that if Ripple can be applied in many different areas then this coin can certainly reach $4 but for that to happen we need investors trust and the project must have many major partners in the future

If you don't believe that price will happen with ripple, you should look into the past, from the initial values and drastic changes in the pumping times, what you might realize is a great change of ripple, except that people judge it as a potential coin and have a strong development. Most people in the community believe the coin is Centralized and dont deserve to be called cryptocurrency

XRP is a decentralized coin in reality which is back up by the banks but I've never think that it is fully centralized cause it is still depending on the market demand. Its price is subject to change anytime depending on the market situation. And saying that XRP don't deserved to be called as cryptocurreny, I don't think so.

Like XRP or not, it can go to past $4 when the market goes past its old highs. After all, its 2018 all time high was over $3 so $4 is not lot higher than that.

If same fate will happen back and the mass pumped will bring back inside the market, then it will surely results for this coin to comeback to that level,

Glad you said not evert prediction will come to past for prediction are not guarantee. However, I also believe XRP will claims the mention price range but not this year and I don't think we need an analysis for that because Bitcoin surge in price usually influence the aktcoin market. However, the XRP price range prediction will come to pass after Bitcoin claim another ATH.

XRP previous ATH during Bitcoin market was $3.40 so for it to reach $4 should be easy when it Bitcoin halving season. However, the analyst that make the prediction actually said the XRP will reach $4 due to coin base adding XRP and the on going promo but I don't see it as a reason for XRP to reach $4 price he predicted cause it Bitcoin price that will influence XRP as you said.

If I could remember $4 will never be the high as ripple has crossed that level in 2018 January.  The remain days of this month will decide if altcoins are going to join bitcoin in its bullish trend as I see some of them still below the oversold area.  Though,  I did not expect what happened this month and last month the way it happened I will still wish that ripple should move above $4 in no time.

I believe that history can repeat itself but I'm not sure if it will be the same for XRP. I'm not good a speculation and analysis but as long as the market cap of the market keeps on increasing, then it is likely to be distributed to the whole market including XRP.

Sorry to say, I can't believe it. Ripple is a strong coin, last year people made good profits from ripple when every other coin were sinking! Therefore, I remembered that When Bitcoin price went to 19.7K USD, XRP price hit 3.65 USD! So, this time, If ripple hit 4 USD then it will become the second coin again and its volume will be huge! I don't think it is possible anymore for the XRP! If JPM coin really arrives then XRP coin will face a tough condition for sure!

Maybe it is, but look at the btc price jump. when it reached 6000$ everyone said it will only be for a few days before it will dump. then it was at 7k, 8k. I think everything is possible in this market.
This time people will be more carefull when spending their gains on alts, but when btc can hold a high line alts will pump like hell

Wow! It is a piece of very good news for me. I have reserved some XRP coins with me for future price upsurge I hope and pray it will go beyond that value. Many XRP holders will rejoice including me even if today the price plunge, I still have high hope of its future rebound because as many believe, we are already in the bull running.

What is good news?  This is merely a speculation thread that was started.  Usd value ($4) is based on btc/xrp pair, so to say xrp is "doing good" if it hits $4 is relative. If you buy xrp at 5200 sats and its $.37 and because bitcoin spikes and xrp value is $4 but is only worth 4000 sats that's terrible.  You lost more than 20% of you value if you just kept your money in bitcoin.  Usd value is silly with alts

I am so surprised at the rate for which XRP is really growing so fast, although I am not really so surprised about this because I have studied that no matter how had they try to bring people from the bondage of third party involvement, people still prefers a centralized system, that is why we see that a lot of exchanges that are more popular in the market are virtually centralized exchanges.

Now see the support XRP if getting from communities, to me, I have not really seen what rupee really has to offer, but I guess its centralized nature is really helping it get all the support necessary, especially by bankers.

Come to think of it, prior to the bull run of bitcoin, where was rupee value? Why was it stagnant and it had to depend on bitcoin despite the fact that its community contains more of bankers?Even with all their push and hype they could not grow until bitcoin started increasing.

Why will you loss if you will buy xrp at 5200 sats and if the value of xrp reaches 4 usd ?  I think you will only earn huge profit  . You will only loose if the value of xrp drops below your buying point but xrp is a good coin and it does have the potential to grow more in the future.

It means that whilst you would gain $, you would gain fewer $ than if you'd just kept your money in BTC instead.

However I do think that if (when?) XRP hits $4 then it is likely to have increased against BTC as well as against the dollar. $4 is not far above ATH price for XRP... and it would need a BTC price of almost $80,000 in order not to increase against BTC.

When I buy crypto I think of gains and losses in crypto.  If you buy for 1 btc and end up selling for more usd but only sell for .8btc that is a loss even though in usd it made more.

AFAIK, every cryptocurrency have their "fan" or the trader.

Yes I believe XRP will go again past 4 dollars. Because anything possible in crypto. Though the supply of XRP is plenty but the project vision and product suitable and team are hard workable. And Btc also started  to bull run so if xrp start to pump it can reach 4$.

That's possible in any currency by the help of it's traders and believers they just need to find ways how to hype the coin that gonna caust some FOMO, but that would be hard I see XRP reaching $1 easy but will be hard if you look for that $4 but as I say it's possible anything is possible.

I saw an increased price that happened in XRP a few days ago and its price always up almost 20% and I guess if there is happened again then the price xrp will reach $4 in the end of this year. I remember when XRP price had increased 2017 ago until its price reach $3 from $0.0 yeah I think most likely the movement price will same as 2017 ago. But that is may speculation and I don't know what will happen next since the price cryptocurrency just depend on news who spread up.

For a coin that is being traded so well with volume so enormous, XRP can be more than what you could expect. Though its been seen very centralized, the coin is being used a lot for making money and it will continue to be so as long as XRP is added to most exchanges. Coinbase is really going to make coins better when added.

Supply will not be a problem if total users is very big, but of course the total supply will affect the price that will occur. XRP prices have almost touched $4 in 2017 when it's bullish. to reach that price again, of course we need far greater market conditions than 2017? Could it be?

Only when Bitcoin reaches a new ATH and there is a new hype, I can imagine that Ripple reaches this price and go past 4$. Before I consider it very unlikely that Ripple reaches this price. Ripple it's a project with a lot of support, but it's still a long way from 40 cents to $4. If the total supply would be lower, I could imagine it more, but with this big supply it will be hard to reach this price.  ;)

no it is not, unless it is years from now, no matter what the market cap shown, they are just a chart, we can not compared and wish it will comeback, we have to look at the market situation now, no altcoins can rise  much recently and not strong enough to keep the price stable in this down trend market, so i dont think XRP can reach 4$ soon but will take a very long time from now.

So far lots of people lost their confidence about the investment on ripple so right now if it goes to the bigger value or the lower value people will not consider a lot more if anything was happened I will be very happy but still I have little confidence about the development.

One of those losing confidence is also me since I have heard that XRP is a centralized coin and it is manipulated with Indian banks then, I am selling all my XRP. When I have heard that XRP will have the hype but nothing happen many investors are waiting on that situation. As of now, it is a difficult thing to get in touch with XRP because that was too risky. For me, once the project is centralized we can't trust them because anytime they can conduct hype for their coin.

The way i look at the price there is no chance that it will gonna hit $4 within this year. That $3+ was just a result of hype or let's just say the result of bull run in 2017. This coming 2020 bull run, XRP might have reached that level of the price if Bitcoin attains a new ATH level but if not then chances are it will stay below $1 to $2 i guess.

It sounds ridiculous and I can't see any possibility for the Ripple to become a 4 USD coin! Even Ripple did not rach at 4 USD in the golden time of crypto history! Now, XRP's popularity is decreasing, it's big competitor JPM coin may come very soon, and XRP huge supply is an obstacle for Ripple to be 4 USD! so it can't I think!

Me I stand to lose a lot when I would have invested that 5200 sat in other coins that I am sure of their price increase. XRP cannot really increase in value even if its serving its purpose because it’s being controlled, and whatever is being regulated will not function properly in a decentralized market system.

Well, that could happen, of course, that Ripple only rises to 1$. The crypto market is really hard to predict and a price from 1$ to 4$ is certainly possible, but as already written, first of all the price of Bitcoin has to increase. Without a price increase from him it will be very difficult for Ripple to reach a price of 1$ at all.  ;)

I dont think any coin will have a stratospheric rise that bitcoin had.  A positive attitude isn't going to make a coin rise like bitcoin did from its beginning.  Not only does bitcoin have first mover advantage, most other coins are niche just like xrp, I dont see how xrp even gets to $4 let alone a bitcoin like rise.

I agree with what JeffBrad12 said. Do you really think a coin which is almost decentralized will jump almost 10x its initial value. The Ripple lab themselves hold more than 50 billions (which is actually half of the total) of XRP which raises many concerns. Again, they will be used by banks. Wasn't people jumping into crypto currencies to avoid the corrupt banking system?

Maybe ripple can go to $4 for a long time, but for short-term, I don't think that ripple can do that except there a flash pump that might happen in the market. We need to check it later on the market, especially if the altcoin market is starting to increase so ripple can follow to jump to the higher price. I think ripple can reach $1-$3 in this year, but that will depend on how high the bull market will happen.

Which is the common thing when you are investing with alts, you need to observed how the market will behave in the next following days, from then you can assess what will be the next potential position, you have to acknowledge every trending patterned if you really like to invest with alts like this, the fomo is everywhere you need to wait before following any news or speculations.

I don't want to make people lose hope but i think xrp will not pass so much value, maybe will have 4$ but not now, that can happen only if bitcoin can reach a new ATH and that can take time.

Anything is possible within this space.  Xrp is one of those coins with awesome utility.  It has maasive adoption by big companies and institutions so it will be expected to see  price rise that high

Ripple has been supported by Banks already so reaching the 4$ isn't hard but I think it will take a long time before reaching it. I think Ripple is a good coin to hold because it is on the top of the coinmarketcap. I'll be buying a bit of Ripple in the future and will hold it.

That's pretty hard mate,  we're not be able to each $1 and making a way for $4 is quite a long gap for xrp to achieve.  
Anyway,  XRP isn't in the bull run yet and maybe when bullish will take place over the market will give a huge incline to this coin but not pretty sure if it will be achieving at that price.

i believe it will cost more than $4 a night. It is a highly concentrated coin. at the same time, it may fall from $4 to 4 cents a day. i will stay away from it. i prefer solid coins.

if ripple convince major banks to adopt his coin he can easily achieve those price level but for now, I don't think so take a look at  jp morgan coin they just created their own stable coin on ethereum protocol

Well, everyone has the right to air their mind, and we are all entitled to our own opinion, so it is left for the reader to choose to believe it or not. I think I support your claim also, ripple isn’t going to naturally get to $4 without the assistance of bitcoin.

Who are ripple communities? They are more of very strong financial bodies, most especially bankers, but still, their money could not do much for them in promoting their value, despite all the hype they have paid for, what we need is a real working product which I see that ripple lack to sustain any value they get to.

XRP was 3 dollar at the previous bull season. There is a potential of X10 from ATH at the next bull season which is expected for 2022-2023.

This coin is supported by banks and large institutions already so it has a large community already. I believe that Ripple will go beyond 4$ in the near future. It did go ~3$ when Bitcoin is at ~20,000$ so when Bitcoin goes to ~100,000 there is a chance that this will multiply by 5 to and the price will be ~15$. Just a speculation but this will be the one of the cryptocurrencies that will remain in the next years.

Each and every user have a thought that xrp is completely centralized and upon the same people won't be showing much interest on ripple. Upon the growth it attained over the increasing community it is always an preferred coin for traders of all levels. As stated during the previous bull run of bitcoin reaching $20000 xrp reached close to $3.50+ and it makes $4 easily achievable when it makes partnering with few more financial institutions around the world.

If bullish market happens of course it will go past $4, but I think bull market will happen in the next year. :-\

$4 is perfectly achievable for XRP, as it has got close in the past, and has a history of sudden immense price rises. The difficulty will be in sustaining that price and not just quickly dropping back to under $1 again.
XRP does offer a lot, but it is more prone to speculation that most other top coins. I would imagine a lot of people who bought in at the previous ATH will be very reluctant to buy in again as they must be sitting on big losses.

We are just waiting for it, and every coin will start to make their ATH again. Top coins always have the chance for that and XRP is good for that though I believe we don’t need to wait for next year because the bull market will start later this year. The improvement of XRP is the reason of pump, and we have to see bitcoin on its ATH again so the altcoin market will follow the pump.

Ripple doesn't have so much specials in this period and this coin is still stable at $0.3 - $0.4. I like your spirit if you think XRP will go up to that price. however, the targeted increase must be 100%. maybe XRP has the potential to have that price. but, for now, I don't think the possibility is yet to be seen. however, target the xrp price at $ 1, because targeting a high price can depress you in the future if it doesn't match reality.

XRP is a great coin, and yes I think it will be very likely to go past $4. The question is when - I'm not sure it will happen soon. It would probably need a big rise from all of crypto to give it a boost up. I don't think XRP can rise that high by itself.

It completely depends upon the situation of the market but in 2017, the price of XRP crossed more 3$ and which it is very good chances for the XRP to cross the value of 4$. I think the market seems to be in the recovery stage and has a very good chance for the XRP to increase its price.

This is not an outrageous prediction but it needs a huge fomo trigger like a collaboration with a major bank that doesn't just use xcurrent but the actual xrp currency as well

I know that this is really good news and it gives many Americans the opportunity to buy XRP faster with cheaper transaction fees. but it only creates a new market share in the US and the technology of XRP remains the same. I think we should take the time to buy more LTCs at a better price because in less than 2 months, the halving event will happen.

Only banks could play a very big role in this coin to make it come to even 3$ I would say if not 4$. This coins has being hit badly and does not seems to grow like it was the coin when it started and back by so many people as well along with the banks who supported this coins. Don't be too hopeful with such predictions. Just do the Math on how much total market capitalization it has to be to be eligible of reaching $4. Think of it that $3 was an all time high price and the market has been too fruitful during that time. Let's say that it's very possible but that kind of expectation, we need to more of 2017 ATH.

I can't find any reason why this coin can raise prices in the near future because most of the news from this coin is only normal and there is not so much interest from the investors. In my opinion, XRP investment requires patience for a long time to earn good profits and it will be very difficult to beat ETH because this coin represents many other altcoin. However, crypto market always has many surprises and hope ripple can do something that can make us happy.

I do agree with you but one thing you need to understand in 2017, the price of XRP crossed the value of 3$ and there is chance for XRP when the whole market should be in bullish. Shady deals like an pump and dump organised by Ripple Inc. can make a price of $ 4. But it won't be different from other pump and dump and finally it will go back and people will lose trust in XRP. XRP is a centralized coin and we can expect that easy. Though they are back-up by some banks but we don't know if that will be in the integration into the other country's bank.

I supposed to think that XRP won't go that high, $4? It is too far from what it has today,  it only $0.42 at binance and it is a long gap fro $4. We should have to think that XRP it won't go that fast and given a chance by their team to make at high instead of keeping it below $1.

Yesterday there was news that Ripple was hacked over 10 million dollars from gatehub and that's the main reason why I believe that this coin is no longer safe to invest because in fact it doesn't have too much value when you invest long-term and you may experience a lot of losses if the market enters a declining period. LOL, you already gave reason why ripple went up in the first dispensation before collapsing to bear market, what makes you think it is still not the same pattern it will follow. If you say people behind it are strong, why is it then that the value has still not gone up till now, and the only time that the price tries to go up is anytime Bitcoin surges which it reverses back to as soon as Bitcoin plunges, so where are the people.

I don't see any chance for that even if we have enough faith and hold ripple longer because ripple does not have too much potential to reach that price when it is a coin for banks to use, and as we know, the bank only uses products with high stability, that requires the price of ripple to be stable or can only fluctuate at a low level. And another reason is that competition in the crypto market is getting bigger, many more prominent products have appeared, whales will no longer focus strongly on coins that are too obsolete as ripple

In crypto trading nothing is impossible, because prices are determined by the supply and demand of the community itself. For example, bitcoin is as big as this, of course nobody would have thought, because when it was created the price was only worth a candy, very cheap.
So, XRP reaching USD 4 is possible, but it doesn't know when it will be reached. If according to my prediction until December this year it will be difficult to achieve because today the price has only reached USD 0.3181.

XRP does look very low in price considering all of the good news that keeps appearing about this coin. I know there is always the question of distinguishing between Ripple the company and XRP the coin, and Ripple does have many non-XRP offerings, but still, XRP should be a lot higher in price than it is now. I think it was mid-2017 when it was first at this price, and it deserves a much higher price now.

Because nature of cryptocurrecy easy to changed, I also feel that XRP will experience good development in the coming months. anything can happen in the world of cryptocurrency. so we just wait for further news from this coin.
