I keep reading that Morpheus is middleware.

So i started looking into that: Middleware is software that lies between an operating system and the applications running on it.

Now i get where both the operating system and applications get their revenu from. And i get the benefit of connecting different applications, but how does this middleware add value to processes. And for me as a MPRH hodler, more importantly, how does it benefit me? And whats makes operating systems and applications WANT to use middleware?"

In the most recent AMA, Dan revealed that for the past 18 months, Morpheus.Network’s partner Customs Direct — a U.S. Customs Broker — has been working directly with the Federal U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) on two separate Proof of Concept blockchain projects. As Customs Direct’s blockchain solution, Morpheus.Network looks forward to working on more POCs with the CBP in the next year. It is interesting to note that the CBP has been conducting blockchain POCs since mid-2018 and has previously acknowledged trialing Factom as well as IBM TradeLens platform. It is very positive for Morpheus.Network (and blockchain in general) to be working alongside some of the established brands in the space, for the United States government.

Supply chain is one of the industries that badly needed the deployment of blockchain technology.
With the long list of accomplishments that you already made for this project, can you give us approximate number of companies that are already using your services/software?
You aimed to reach about 100 customers by 2021, but up until this month - how many customers have you got to use your platform?

Good afternoon, thread. I tried to check more on Morpheus and looks like guys are widening the horizons for the logistics field. So is there anyone here to elaborate a bit more and answer my questions?

I am not from the team, even though pretty into what the team is coming with, so I could probably assist you here

As I know, now there is a problem with documents and more. Kinda counterparties have complex and long procedures of sharing the documents with each other, thus, process is less convenient, takes more time and makes logistics inefficient. Are guys planning to solve the problem somehow?

This is a good question, cause as I know, The Morpheus Network can remove the complexity from this process. Any time a document needs to be shared with multiple institutions, putting that record on the blockchain enables real-time updates that can be seen, but not tampered with or inadvertently altered. This can create significant savings in time and cost while at the same time, ensuring a strong level of trust. And also brings higher efficiency
