The government of the German state North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) announced plans to establish the European Blockchain Institute
It seems Germany want to take the lead, what are the opinion?

So, is the today's bump for this news or organic. I'm really scared the way bitcoin price is increasing because it may heavily fall in the long run. However, blockchain indistry will drastically change people's daily life and more countires will be interested in the long run.

Are they going to create their blockchain? If that is so, it will going to be good if they will just implement a one crypto that will going to utilize this blockchain. Well, they should learn from the mistakes of smartcontracts, and its effects on the market that has been done by ethereum blockhain. Just an advice.

nice, this is really good news, this thing can help blow up market again, and we can se again when btc hit 13k$ again soon.

It's nice that they are realizing that blockchain technology and cryptos are something that is marking very fast our society and from my point of view any interest in doing research around this technology is something positive.

Regardless of the different attitudes of states towards cryptocurrency, blockchein technology is recognized by almost all states as a very advanced and revolutionary technology of the future. It creates great opportunities in the storage and safe use of large online databases on the Internet across the state or even the entire planet. Previously, this was not possible because the network was vulnerable. Creating a whole blockchein institute in Germany is very interesting.

this is another good news that will be the reason investors are increasingly confident with bitcoin. of course all holders hope that the increase in Bitcoin will continue followed by several other altcoins who will potentially rise following Bitcoin.

It's undeniable that blockchain is a innovative technology. Governments and organizations should have studied it sooner. Europe seems to be slower than the US or Asia in developing blockchain, at least in ICO projects. And hence, German - the leader of EU, is expected to elevate old continental's position.

Great. This is great. By this Im sure that the other country banning it like china will accept the crypto too soon. No counry can deny the essence of using blockchain as the time keep evolving.

Maybe these Governments are now beginning to realize the great advantages of embracing blockchain technology to empower their own Governmental processes and other related industries. If successfully implemented, I think other countries will follow the path that Germany has taken and its highly critical for them to achieve success in order to ignite mass adoption in the European continent. Imho

China is not banning blockchain though and the article does not say that they are planning to create crypto. I'm guessing the main purpose of the planned European Blockchain Institute is to explore more uses of blockchain and integrate them.

the good news, this could be the first step for crypto regulation in Europe. if the institution can contribute in the future, I am sure that crypto will have mass adoption in Europe. but if this is only for temporary hype, I'm not too sure. because when the market falls they might stop.

The article does raise a good point, Europe is behind the US when it comes to developments in the blockchain space.
I'd say something like this is long overdue, they should have founded a European blockchain institute years ago IMO.

Yes, a lot of government are beginning to discover that they can't fight the Blockchain and they have no choice than to join the moving train, so I would advise that other government follows suit on what the German government is doing to enlighten people about the Blockchain because the truth is that the current fiat system is failing and might fail totally in few years to come, and the Blockchain would be the only saving grace that will help grow the economy again if only they are humble enough to adopt it.

Germany is always a little late at the moment. First with the electric cars and now with blockchains. It's good that germany is taking this step, but it will certainly take some time before they have really founded the institute and they have to make up the shortfall they currently have. But anyway, it is and remains good news from germany for crypto.  :)
