Title: What will happen to Leo after Monday?
Post by: GhostWithin on May 17, 2019, 09:17:10 PM
Bitfinex confirmed that they collected the claimed cap in $ 1 billion during private tokensale of LEO. And LEO will be listed on Monday (20 May)
(proof (https://twitter.com/bitfinex/status/1129410249709051904))

1 billion dollars. This is a huge capitalization. What do you think will happen after listing?
such a huge capitalization may not be good, even despite the fact that Bitfinex will buy back tokens at the market price on monthly basis.

It was a difficult achievement. I just heard now that the IEO sales reached such a large number, but after listing on the exchange, in my opinion, there is a dump because there are lots of coins that hold and better save for the next 6 months.

"private token sale" words are keywords in here. I don't understand how could collect so much money in very short time.

On the other hand, some useful project didn't collect just 5-10 million for months.

Theoretically this is possible. Negotiations with investors could begin a long time ago.

Just one IEO raising 1 billion dollar is massive.. A project like this ought to move in directly into the top 10 on coinmarketcap once listed.. Although I still think we need to watch this project carefully I expect a lot of price manipulation in the coming days

if they really want to make a buyback then in my opinion it doesn't matter because the risk of loss is gone, this is a distinct advantage considering that very few projects dare to do that and this shows that they believe in their own coin potential coins

Accepted.
But while you are the only participant, I will make you a competition to make it more interesting.
I think that the price of LEO will be about $ 4

P.S. If there will be at least 3 participants (except me), then my option will not be taken into account.

The price was $1 each, total supply is 1B. Thats why i think nobody will sell, but a lot of people want to get some  ;)

Wow, how on earth were this people able to raise such amount of funds from investors who are buying the token at a very low amount or is there a way they involved private investors in this because I am still confused on how projects are able to raise $1b, though I think the more funds you raise, the lesser the price of the coin once it hits the exchange because the supply will be so much at first that there might not be demand for the coin since everyone made purchase during it's ICO stage.

Personally, I don't trust the words in crypto "private sales." It entails one of the most shady business in the token offering verse and has been the reasons for the death of many ICO coins. Anyways for Bitfinex, it's their exchange and it's their coin so well, I can't say much but all i can say is that it's gonna pump pretty good.

We can only guess. Maybe they provide us inflated numbers, and in fact collected less. Maybe they gave this money to themselves, i.e. "laundered" money received in another way.

The goal of this project is to close a hole in the budget ($850M), here all methods can be good.

Mate, my prediction was more accurate. I'm sorry, but no merit this time.

UPDATE!
Just noticed that you need only 1 merit increase rank. In addition to the desire to earn it, you have provided useful information to another member of the forum. I think you deserve at least 1.

Ouch, 1.03 is far from it (my guess). I really thought a lot of people will ask for that sh.t  ;)
Wow thanks a lot, appreciate that. I've never actually dealt with this system before.
