Title: Any News About MoneyPot?
Post by: Enre on May 18, 2019, 10:28:50 AM
Hey guys,

Sorry I've been out for quite some time, and I did some research about Moneypot and found the issues they got themselves into...
I also checked all their featured apps and all of them haven't been used recently and/or are shut down

Is there any resolution to what happened?

I would like to know, thanks.

That's very strange too but I also checked them a couple of days ago they look like they are bearly alive at this time. their all the investors are gonna maybe some whale decided to empty the whole casino as they were paying everyone or maybe a security breach. I hope if nothing bad happens to them then they can come back after some months when the time is right.

I just visit the site and the last wager was made 17 hours ago ,
I wonder what happen but looking at their thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1020726.0) seems like they have some issue back in January.
And there was a new management what a shame it was a great platform for gambling.

You are referring to the old thread when it was handled by Rhavar, the new owner is Dogedigital IIRC
The big issue came once it is handled by Dogedigital when they gave a promise to buy back Rubbies in a fixed good price but it was not happening as promised imho.
Yeah it was a great gambling wallet that provide some great gambling application as well, but it seems that their popularity is gone already.

From what I gathered they also failed to be solvent

Im not really sure whats going on now, i did want to make an app but after checking on them again it started to look grim

The last bet was 21 hours ago. I smell something fishy in here  ::).

Is there any resolution to what happened?
The resolution for this is simple and common, contact their support. That's the best thing to do now.

According to post from JackpotRacer, there were three owners: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2592025.msg26388829#msg26388829 . They were also deleting some legit questions as it appears and an alternate thread was created by JP here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2592025.0

They have failed and have lost their reputation with hollow promises. I don't think they are that much active judging by their social handles.

Yes, I still remember when RH sold moneypot to dogedigital and the other 2

Its a shame since moneypot v1 had so much going and it was such a great idea.

AFAIK the guys are working behind the scenes on something big , that's the info I got but with no details at all
monsterbyte ( who bought moneypot ) are running successfully and they are getting bigger , but at this stage I would say it's building stage

your best shot to get news is to keep up with monsterbyte updates and maybe join the slack channel , but I guess the owners are saving the news till they totally finish working on the project

I really have high hopes for all the projects that monsterbyte is running

The thread which you have mentioned is no longer valid and it was locked somewhere in 2016. The site is operational but the last wager is appearing almost one day before. So no one is playing at moneypot for last one day. I smell something fishy here and withdrawal of funds from there is a sensible idea.

I certainly agree with you. With no much complications and different news from different people, its better to contactbtheir support team so you'll get your questions answered.
Also, don't rely too much on what you read on reviews and previews threads. It's better if you'll reach out on them directly.

I'm also dismayed and disappointed about it. They have built a good reputation before but they ruined it and people have lost their trust for MoneyPot. Let's wait and see if they could still do something about it but right now, they're on their downfall point.

just wanted to thank two very nice guys I know from old times who posted in this thread namely
@Avirunes
@Bitinity
just stay as you are

I was always a fan of the Moneypot business idea and I am still a fan, but sadly RHavar sold it to the wrong people

Moneypot owners scammed many investors, players and RBIES owners!
here is the link to my scam accusation thread

I just wanted to ask about the news I gathered myself through bitcointalk. I don't actually trust Monsterbyte like their fans
do since I only knew them from the auction a long time ago, and checking out their portfolio

Moneypot is dead
Nessie is dead
Dogedigital is pretty much dead

I don't have any negative bias towards them, I just wanted to know what there was to the story

You may not be referring to me, just wanted to explain; also I'm not part of any sig campaign haha

Monsterbyte worked with Moneypot owners something out that I call the MonsterScam!

why don't you give us your explanation what happened to you and Moneypot owners Dogedigital and AcoinL.L.C? what is your deal?
how ended the court in Canada?

MoneyPot is not dead - we are working on a few different plans to bring it back at a later date
Nessie was in a beta, and will remain as such until license is secured
And finally, you are correct - Dogedigital is not working for Monster Byte, MoneyPot, or any of our affiliates.

I think moneypot had a bit of a problem when they updated, that was the time that I stopped using it, I was using them more like a wallet for a long time but after the update I moved to another place and stopped using them and until that moment they were just doing fine.

I don't know what happened after the update but they were promising a lot great things and added a lot of new coins and after all they are not the casino you gamble, they are just the bankroll management system and a wallet, so if you are gambling on a casino that uses moneypot you are still using them, only difference is if there is no good casino tied to them anymore then there is not much they can do. They are as good as their best casino, there was couple of great ones but it appears they are not really played that much anymore which made moneypot not earn money the way they thought they would and that must have caused some issues.

Hey guys,

Sorry I've been out for quite some time, and I did some research about Moneypot and found the issues they got themselves into...
I also checked all their featured apps and all of them haven't been used recently and/or are shut down

Is there any resolution to what happened?

I would like to know, thanks.

Is Moneypot closed permanently or there are any issues which have paused Money pot for the time being ?  If anyone can share the official post/news link which defines the situation will be beneficial for all .

how about using google or even just searching here in the gambling board about moneypot instead of posting ?
it's unreal how stake participants are ruining any discussion just for the sake of making a post , Stake's manager  must be a retard to count such posts

They are not doing themselves a favour by neglecting their original platform and putting in all their effort into the new platform. They should follow PrimeDice's recipe, with what they did with the introduction of Stake.com and focus on both products.

If gamblers get treated badly with one platform, they would lash out against the new platform. Stake is successful, because PrimeDice was doing an excellent job at treating their customers well.  ;)

yeah that's true but let's not forget that Moneypot was having tons of problems before monsterbyte owning it , so Monsterbyte kinda bought a dead site with people losing interest in it
so their job is challenging cause monsterbyte is still small and they are working on other products as well not only moneypot

I still believe monsterbyte will have success in the future cause at least their bookie has the best odds ( if we compare it with fairlay , fairlay charges small commissions and don't have betbacks and monthly leaderboard )

so yeah it's hard but with some big changes like Nessie being licensed and maybe turning to the best exchange for small coins and new projects I would say this can totally change the game
most people are still using shitty exchanges like yobit , hitbtc and tradesatoshi for certain kind of coins
if Nessie was ready to offer better service then all these traders will shift to it , and assuming that all of these coins will be listed in moneypot then this will always bring fresh money to MP

IDK it's probably a longshot but I still see some good chances

and at the end we are talking about new owners , it's like saying why people would deposit in bitcoinrush since their brand bought moneypot !!

I'm just really more concerned about the investment part, and whether it's going to continue as a business in general

And to be honest I'm not really too confident in MonsterByte for creating streams of revenue.. I don't even know how they're making money to begin with
with all the liabilities and mistakes and all the projects in their portfolio that hasn't really gone into fruition.

I do want to invest into their site; Not just into their bankroll but also time into making apps (games or maybe others) connected to MoneyPot
but both as an investor and someone using their service as a crucial part of an application's functionality is a bit risky.

Hopefully they can start clearing things up and bring results

The probably got themselves into a mess and it would take sometime for the to get themselves out a regain there trust.
I would advice them to take time of an restructure them selves, pump more capital into the project.

same here mate , I invested in MBI before they even took moneypot so it wasn't the reason why I invested so I wasn't even expecting profit for that project

I have the same hopes as well cause clearly it's not that easy to bring it back to what it used to be

they should pay back first the money they stole from their investors before trying to get new investors = new victims to scam

That is why the only place one can get themselves messed up and no forgiveness is in crypto world! Immediately you have a bad name, you are done and no one will ever trust you again. If they need to build another confidence and relationship then their should pay the first investors," their investments money before looking for another funds again".

I've been associated with MoneyPot for a long time. But I can not log in to my account anymore. Because my account was kept "save password" on my computer. For some problems, I have been forced to reset my computer so that all the details are gone. I can not reset the password in some way. I went to MoneyPot's Contact option and did the Complain but they have not yet responded to me.
If someone knows anything, please let me know.

do you have money on the account? or have you been casino/games OP? the owners are SCAMMERS just for info
another info is that Monsterbyte bought Moneypot and they should take care of old users and debts but they don't! therefore I call them MonsterScam

good luck

if you have money in your account just join the slack group of monsterbyte and send a message to Tim , he will take care of that
if you don't have money then better just to wait till they finish updating the site since at the moment you won't need your account

Yes, because I had money, I am still in trouble. My account has total of 0.015 BTC worth of money. Although this money does not have any value to others, I have enough value for it. I did not know anything about the moneypot that Monsterbyte bought. So, according to your words monsterbyte and a scammer.  :'( :'( :'(

you have nothing to lose, just ask Monsterbyte to pay you this money because it is yours. Monsterbyte if they are not a MonsterScam they can pay you and take it from dogedigital the Moneypot scammer

to be frank after dogedigital = Moneypot scammed so manu users no one should have done a deal with them, and especially not Monsterbyte

best of luck and please let us know if you received your money.

You told this group the name of this "slack group of monsterbyte" So let me know if you know something about this group I can contact and communicate with them. Even in the 6-7 days, I have sent mail in Moneypot to 3-4 times even though they have not responded to me yet. In my account 0.015 BTC has equal money. Anyway, I must withdraw my account money.

Hey guys,

Sorry I've been out for quite some time, and I did some research about Moneypot and found the issues they got themselves into...
I also checked all their featured apps and all of them haven't been used recently and/or are shut down

Is there any resolution to what happened?

I would like to know, thanks.
If to you ,everything doesn't seem quite alright then it would be best for you to switch to another site that is similar to them and offering the same services that they were offering. Yup, that's the best thing you can do for yourself if you think the site is dead, unless you want to take the risk and check it out by yourself. If the site is truly dying like you have said ,that means any money you invest in there is likely not coming out. Or you can contact their customer support (if they are still active) to know what's wrong exactly .

Just saw this:

https://medium.com/monsterbyte/winding-down-moneypot-operations-d6a4febafbbc

Quote
We would like to announce that the MoneyPot interface and public facing portal will be winding down and taken offline. This means that the multi-crypto wallet services as well as the applications running on top of it, will no longer be available as of September 14, 2019.
What this means to you
As Monster Byte winds down MoneyPot, we will be limiting the functionality of MoneyPot to withdraw only.
If you are a MoneyPot user, please ensure that you request to withdraw all of your funds within the platform and wallet before September 14, 2019 to a secure wallet that you control. To help ensure as seamless a transition as possible, MoneyPot will lower all minimums and withdrawal fees for the duration of this winding down period.
If you are not sure what to do, please reach out to us at support@moneypot.com or fill in the Contact Form at https://www.moneypot.com/contact.
