Until you open the client again, the network is still functioning and new blocks are still being generated. As such, the client wouldn't know if there were any transactions corresponding to your addresses until it can synchronize and retrieve the latest blocks. The process may take sometime, depending on when you last opened your client.

You might want to describe why its not syncing, is it being firewalled by windows? If not, then your sync issue is happening because of what the reply above mine said, you're not leaving it on for long enough. Title: Re: Bitcoin core wallet out of sync Post by: BitMaxz on May 20, 2019, 09:26:21 PM I'm getting this error if I close the bitcoin-qt for a long time you must wait to the wallet to fully sync before you make a new transaction if you are trying to send you will get this error "your wallet balance may be incorrect" So in order to send without getting error you need to wait in your wallet to fully sync.
Do you have VPN running on the background? You should disable it if the wallet is fully sync but you are still getting an error while making a transaction try to "rescan" on the console. |
