Title: Same thing happens to everyone who tries that!
Post by: ghermghuda on May 18, 2019, 10:17:08 PM
This message is to anyone who think being on a mission to kill Bitcoin is a "wise" decision. Use Craig Wright as a case study and compare it to the life he'd have if he were to focus on building his own platform and promoting it in his own way.

Secondly, take a look at all those so-called "Bitcoin killer coins" and look at their fate without Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the most loved asset in this ecosystem and so it's meaningless to try to make it your hunting mission. Together, Bitcoin lovers are stronger than anyone or any coin.

So next time you think about killing Bitcoin, remember you'll be "dead and forgotten" before you even start.

Have a nice evening!!!

I believe all these attempts to kill bitcoin are just marketing. These developers know they can't defeat bitcoin, they are just putting some pressure on the market to consolidate their altcoins in the top trends.
It's a smart idea anyway: they say a new bitcoin is being created, and just for having bitcoin on its name, the altcoin has already more chances to be in evidence than others, especially if they create a lot of polemical statements around it.

Bitcoin was the first of its kind, the start of the future and its success was for a reason and the people that supported it are doing so because they believe in it, for me i think that all of the coins that came after bitcoin are just obvious copy cats that are trying to make profit and they promote them by giving false hopes and false dreams of being bitcoin killers and changing the crypto seance, and they all end up either being a pump and dump or a scam.

I don't think Craig Wright wanted to "kill" bitcoin,  he did what he did to get attention, pretty much just like John McAfee , these people are simply mental IMO. having said that, there is nothing wrong with competing against bitcoin, the probability of another coin surpassing bitcoin in terms of price and adoption is always there and we can't ignore it.

Despite creating coins which could kill Bitcoin, no attempt has been successful because Bitcoin itself has built a strong foundation which no coin could ever break. Its reputation and value are firm that no controversy could affect it negatively. Bitcoin has passed all the tests of time so no matter how they try to kill it, they're only making it more resistant to any issues being thrown to it.

there are some people who have been trying to "kill" bitcoin but none of them are among your examples. these people are usually banks and others who are scared of bitcoin.
those people you mentioned are only greedy people who are well aware of the power that bitcoin has and the popularity that it is gaining so they want to take advantage of its name and make money from it. for example CW is just trying to make money by scamming others, and also evading the Aussie tax man. these shitcoins also are doing the same, look at what they all did. they start by saying they are replacing bitcoin then they get pumped for a while and then their owner (who has a large premined coins in his pocket) dumps and becomes a millionaire overnight and abandons the coin.

Those who says or who attempted to 'kill bitcoin' knows that it can't be done. They are just saying it to build some hype around their projects or coins. But the thing is investors or crypto enthusiast knows this, so they are not biting this kind of marketing ploy.

ETH (The Flippening), XRP (The Rippening) and even Bitcoin Cash (BCH) have attempted it in the past. Those 3 coins are solid and legit, but still they fall short of their 'goal'.

After a long time, we found another entertainer like McAfee in the crypto environment and that man is Craig Wright! I don't think his intention was to kill bitcoin, because people are not kid nor joker to believe him as a Satoshi! He is just an attention seeker, nothing else. I wanted to see the BSV coin dead, but still, its rank is very high in CMC! I agree with you that without Bitcoin, every others coin fate will not be good!

The bitcoin "killers",like Roger Ver and Craig Wright just wanted to create a better version of bitcoin(and they failed miserably).By the way,the forum members here can't kill bitcoin because they don't have the money, hashpower and influence in order to do that,so your post is kinda pointless.

none of the coins you listed here are solid or legit. they are all weak projects with lots of problems like ETH and XRP being premined and having very huge supplies. BCH being useless altcoin with a bad history because it is a copy coin. and all 3 are fully centralized.
but they all have reached their "goal" because their goal has never been to replace bitcoin! their "goal" was to get pumped and they did do that and their owners became rich from them.

First of what? If you have done enough research you could say that it is the first successful crypto currency,
But there was many digital currency before Bitcoin and all of them fail and I think Satoshi Nakamoto use those failed product to make Bitcoin work.
Try to read this article and you would see that Bitcoin wasn't the first crypto currency .
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptocurrency#History
And also not all of the crypto that came after Bitcoin are copy cat because we also have different crypto that is why we have POW and POS ,
Every crypto have their different roles in the crypto community and for me not all of them wants to take over Bitcoin or kill it.

Have any one wonder why governments are not able to kill bitcoin, it simple you can't destroy what you don't have Control over, bitcoin is not created by it Hater's and at that they can only criticize it and try to discredit it but they will all fail at the end because bitcoin is stronger then any individual.

People who are trying to create their own coin with a purpose to kill bitcoin will never succeed.
Bitcoin is a well-established coin and it has been through a lot.
It will never be shaken despite all their attempt to kill it.
They could only be considered as attention seeker and no matter how they try, they can't really bring bitcoin down.

Yes, of course and this makes sense from the marketing point of view. What else would you compare your project but to the most popular, right? Some projects are claiming to be the next best thing to bitcoin and some are claiming that they have the best alternative to bitcoin. We are living in hypes and this is quite true wherever you go not just in cryptocurrency but in almost all industries even the religious ones.

Now, we also have many critics who seem to be preoccupied in formulating what they will say against bitcoin next. And yet, bitcoin is here alive, well and kicking. At the end of the day, bitcoin is here to stay but I doubt if its critics will still be remembered years from now. So we better stake  more on bitcoin and believe that it can bring us into the future we desire. Am I hyping or not?

I believe all these attempts to kill bitcoin are just marketing.

Then they're not doing the marketing right, have you listen to Litecoin's founder speak/market his coin? To my undeserving Litecoin is the coin that should even be considered as an equal to bitcoin apart from the difference in their prices they do almost the same thing yet you'll never see Litecoin marketing itself as bitcoin killer instead it's been marketing as a second and the founder of Litecoin have said it numerous times before you even consider buying his coin or any altcoin you should own some bitcoin as bitcoin will always be King.

It disgust me when i see a newly launch or forked coins come out presenting themselves as bitcoin killers. Immediately i notice such, I abstract from those type of coins because they always have the same end result, (failed project).

It's better to be the best version of yourself.

I believe some other cryptocurrency can overthrown bitcoin, not by force necessarily but simply because it might be better. Let's face it, Bitcoin is so popular and known because it's the first but it isn't necessarily the best. Obviously at this point it's really hard for any crypto to compete with bitcoin since bitcoin has the most amount of pairings and you have to buy bitcoin in order to buy other cryptos, most of the times at least. The biggest exchanges out there usually only offer btc and a few others for dollars, in the future, however, a lot more coins will be available to buy with dollars and bitcoin might eventually fade away.

Those who claim to have that bitoin "killer" coin are not really serious. I also think it is just a marketing ploy similar to those various tokens/coins who say they are a better version of coin X. Unfortunately for them, people tend to not buy those negative marketing strategy.

Which coins do you consider as a bitcoin killer ones? Bitcoin cash? Because attempt/support of creating it was to turn bitcoin into shadow? Well, bch is nothing new, just an increase in tx size.
But on another hand, I amn't against bitcoin killer coins and in this coins I mean something that will be better than bitcoin. Why not? Why to just attach with bitcoin and nevet seperate even if better options excist?
I like bitcoin and personally prefer it over most of others but as time pass, it will be "killed" by better one, then this better one will be killed by best and this will continue endlessly.

I remember those days when a lot of ICO projects were telling their investors that they will outstand bitcoin and going to replace it from its current place. But well, we knew it on what happened to most of them.

While bitcoin is still here, alive and kickin' most of those projects were almost dead or maybe few of them already were. Bitcoin will always remain at the top, I even remembered a time when someone said that another technology would kill blockchain where bitcoin's running and in result, it would also kill bitcoin but all of those words, they were all just candy coated.

I love this topic!

At the last part you reminded me the name that says: "See you later friends!"

Turns out you are saying something really accurate there and i also love the dead and forgotten before you even start thing. It's a nice symbol of an action that will for sure be a waste of time because it won't work at all. That people have no clue what the future of the world will be and what it needs and none of us know 100% for sure. But some of us inside this community have a pretty good idea at least relating to the Crypto World.

The most fun part is that the benefits will spread towards a lot of industries worldwide.

People have convinced themselves that they've lost their opportunity to get rich with Bitcoin and that they have to invest in the next big thing, and those who are behind ICO's, altcoins and blockchain technology are playing on this fear of missing out, and that's why they brand their prdocuts as "bitcoin killers". Newcomers need to understand that they are getting conned by people who sell vaporware, so learning about fundamentals should be the first thing any newcomer should do.

All altcoins are a copy of Bitcoin. Cryptocurrencies come to use after the creation of Bitcoin and killing an original will not be easy especially one that is liked and wanted by all crypto enthusiast. Bitcoin has what other coins lack being the first crypto coin has a  great community behind it.

Craig Wright is not a Bitcoin killer, nor the shitcoins you mentioned. They actually benefit from the whole ecosystem. They try to make money on the back of naive people who have zero knowledge on crypto / Bitcoin.

Based on my personal observations, I don't really think people creating new coins with the attempt of developing a coin that can solve the drawbacks seen in Bitcoin have the intention of killing Bitcoin.  Most of these projects use  Bitcoin's algorithm as their base code to develop their coin on.  These developers are very aware that there is no way Bitcoin can be killed.

They are improving bitcoin's shortcomings, yet they can't manage to compete with its adoption.
Up until now, the usage and popularity has not been attained by many attempts of other altcoins.
Although, there are countless projects introduced to be better, faster and so on and so forth, yet, users still go back to bitcoin.
Bitcoin is like a fortress of crypto industry and eliminating this from the picture is quite impossible for now.

No way they will succeed elimination bitcoin in the market, we all love bitcoin and when we invest, we always put bitcoin as our top priority.
So much of the talking, let's prove it based on figures, bitcoin would not hold a dominant rate of over 50% in the entire market if people does not put their trust on it. It's like a stockholder in the company where he owns the highest share, so no one can put him down.

Nothing to do with bitcoin, it is rooted already in crypto and has founded strong that no other altcoins could rid them out of the race.
People are protecting this and so they will give their support even during the hardest part of crypto life.
Anyway, what is the reason why we tried to wipe out Bitcoin in our life? in fact, it gives a huge contribution that of the other.

Previously, a similar tone had occurred on several coins that appeared before, say etheureum, eos, litecoin and a few more, other coins. At the time of its appearance most of them promoted that their coins could kill bitcoin, and in fact, they never could because bitcoin is life for all cryptocurrencies. Besides that, the existence of bitcoin is also the only basis defense, and indicators for the existence of all scattered cryptocurrency both existing and future. So, if this kind of statement 'reappears' in the future, I think they are great people, we will see what they will play, will it work?....

Secondly, take a look at all those so-called "Bitcoin killer coins" and look at their fate without Bitcoin.

Any coin that targets to become the number 1 cryptocurrency is welcome competition to bitcoin. I think the market will be more robust and alive if there is healthy competition for bitcoin. It does not mean that it will kill bitcoin, it just means there is a possibility of a better version of cryptocurrency. And who does not want something better?

This message is to anyone who think being on a mission to kill Bitcoin is a "wise" decision. Use Craig Wright as a case study and compare it to the life he'd have if he were to focus on building his own platform and promoting it in his own way.

The same thing happened with Roger Ver and his crusade to promote Bitcoin Cash as the "real" Bitcoin.  ;)  Why do you need to take down the most popular kid on the playground?

Gavin and Mike Hearn tried the same thing with their fork and look what happened to them. You turn out to look like a villain and the technology that you challenged Bitcoin <BTC> with, failed.  :P

These people should fork off and concentrate all their efforts on doing their own thing, but instead of doing that, they get down in the mud and start attacking Core developers and Bitcoin <BTC> supporters.  ::)

I believe they dont want to take down bitcoin but they are only promoting thier own coin ( their own business )  for the competition you know ,  because they also want to earn and they think that thier coins can be more indemand if they fully de throned bitcoin but luckily bitcoin is strong and still on top  .

Immense popularity and most importantly people are willing to invest billions into bitcoin, its not easy to simply convince those people to change their assets which IMO a very tedious process as it might expose their identity on transactions, big investor do diversify but their main board would be always bitcoin. Many have wanted to do it, in fact, many FORKS have been celebrated to knock down the price of Bitcoin, however they have never succeeded in getting it, but many governments, banks want or are in their interests to end the economy that comes out of all the rules that they always want to impose, and I think that there is the reason why they can not do it, the rules and control is what the bitcoin and all the blockchain technology will never be in the hands of the controllers worldwide.

There are many currencies that have tried to take out to compete with Bitcoin, but that is very difficult, because bitcoin is the leading currency of the Crypto market, in addition there is no digital currency that still has a worldwide backing, first by its structure and secondly by the level of trust it generates, bitcoin has a student market structure, and many theories and analyzes of all kinds can be applied, but it is because it takes many years, and the market phases have occurred normal, although it does not have a strong backing, has a large community over the years, for this reason no outgoing or nascent currency could make it compete, and although it has some kind of support or has strength should wait many years to be able to study it in a complete way, for now it is difficult, it has not yet come out, and if it comes out the safest thing is that it is of a centralized nature, and that would be a great defect, because People prefer the Non-Controlled in their investments, being they themselves who decide what to do with their finances.

They can never knock down Bitcoin while there are all the people, speculators, investors, enthusiasts, miners, among others who will always give life to bitcoin.

If you have no dream then you cannot fully utilize all your skills, knowledge and decision making. It is not bad to have a dream that will eventually surpasses bitcoin someday but thinking in killing it is not very appropriate as bitcoin is the beginning of crypto currency.

It's a good idea to defend bitcoin from it's haters but if we can at least unite then it will be better for the crypto community. Though competitors are necessary in order to make sure that we can avoid monopoly in it.

Bitcoin is the most loved asset in this ecosystem and so it's meaningless to try to make it your hunting mission. Together, Bitcoin lovers are stronger than anyone or any coin.

we have two major problems in the crypto world:

The dictatorship:

The fact that bitcoin is decentralized has opened gaps for a certain group of people who entered the crypto world earlier and had opportunities to have a lot of money, fame and reputation began to think that what got out of their heads would be good for bitcoin, these certain people did not care about what the whole community wanted for bitcoin. they created own altcoins to compete with bitcoin:

Bitcoin Cash: " Peer - to - Peer Electronic Cash "

Bitcoin Diamond: " Satoshi Vision "

The Greed:

People have discovered a way to make money, but without creating something new and unique... just make hard Fork that everything is ready and add some things that sometimes have no meaning... this has been a big cancer of the crypto world , projects like these:

Bitcoin Diamond

Bitcoin Gold

Bitcoin Cash

Bitcoin SV

and many altcoin, are a big disgust

I think that it’s almost impossible to kill btc. Anyway, you’re right in saying that without it any other coin would be useless. Btc holds it together.

All those attempts to kill Bitcoin are just marketing for other alt coins and newer companies to reach the same visionary state as Bitcoin.
You know what they say: If you can not beat them, join them. That's what this is.
Everyone with that mentality will try everything to put down his competitors since they can not be on the same floor as them.

I just have to tell one thing regarding the situation, the more i look into it, it feels a bit weird on how someone could go to lengths like this, approaching the copyright legally and going to courts and submitting things and taking things legally, he might be a fraud altogether and he might end up in jail for doing so, but he has taken it to the extreme from what i understand, if indeed he was the real creator i am seriously not sure how to take on the situation.

Perhaps from its very conception, bitcoin has been hated as much as loved by many, and therefore it seems understandable to me that at any moment there are those who oppose its advancement and intend to offer alternatives to bitcoin, and all these projects end up being unsuccessful and unsubstantiated.

But I think that all this is easy to understand when envy and impotence prevail in the minds of those who see the success of what they hate so much.

No doubts that Bitcoin is the most well known digital currency in our time, where altcoins arise up when bitcoin was created through blockchain technology. Because of its decentralization system, it became unique and many are copied the system of decentralization through different atlcoins in crypto industry.

I don't think that they can kill bitcoin easily because of bitcoin nowadays become stronger and got many supports from people, although not all people use bitcoin and support bitcoin. I am sure that bitcoin will still exist for a long time and people in out there will use bitcoin too as what we did. It's only a matter of time that we will see it's happening in the future and we need to give support to bitcoin.

Right. There's no other crypto coins that would ever replaced its position knowing it is now the most trusted and profitable coin from all other crypto coins.Even a lot of new coins have arised just to kill bitcoin, but they only end up killing theirselves first.Even the government itself has nothing to do to kill bitcoin so it will still remained the king of all cryptos even in the years to come.

Yes, Craig doesn't want to kill bitcoin, all that he need is the fame of bitcoin development be with him. Competence is a must without which we could never grown this high, reason for the growth of bitcoin to this level is the emergence of altcoins. If there is no altcoin bitcoin would never been this popular. As days pass things gets advanced and something better than bitcoin might exist, but not within next ten years in my opinion.

Craig is a special case because he's not just going after bitcoin but he's trying to promote himself. He wants to be famous and give speeches. He wants lifetime recognition because that means money. Once you're a celebrity you no longer have to worry about money.

Trying to destroy Bitcoin is already bad but claiming to be the founder is even worse. Craig is a joke.

It's very possible Craig Wright is been paid by some sort of enemies of decentralized system. who see bitcoin as a big threat to their unabated economic sabotage. They try to use the big banks and economics to discredit the bitcoin, but it rises the more, use the mainstream media, they end up promoting bitcoin and we see a lot of google searches about bitcoin and new wallet users increasing per day. And now Craig Wright faking his identity. He should have a change of heart and face his business and refuse to be pawn in the game of professionals.

That assumption can be true because Craig will not be famous by claiming to be the creator of Bitcoin without the people behind him. We all know the history of Bitcoin before Craig appeared, he just wanted to take the opportunity to fully control Bitcoin by confidently confessing that he was Satoshi Nakamoto.

There‘s a lot of token/coin that attempt to beat up this bitcoin but no one was succeed, but as you said the way of how they could defeat bitcoin is going crazy as pretty smart but after all of that they still loser at the end.

Defeat Bitcoin with that kind of massive marketing or issues? I think it will not work well at all. Bitcoin is what we trust first in the crypto world. This is the pioneer, the reason why cryptocurrency still exists until now. I also believe that there will be no competitors that can defeat or kill Bitcoin for sure. Just be wiser in facing the negative issues about it.

Marketing using a black propaganda seems like a cheat. If they want to defeat bitcoin, they should make their own blockchain more efficiently and unique. If they want to be the first cryptocurrency in the top list of CMC,then they must make changes in developing the P2P digital currency. But as far as I know, the credits will be on bitcoin.

Are you forgetting about all the altcoins that outperformed bitcoin.  Ethereum did over a 1000x and absolutely outpaced bitcoin's gains during that time.  As much as I love bitcoin it is a lot easier to make high gains on low cap altcoins.

Yes, they like to make people panic so they can get the benefit by buying bitcoin at the low price. But that will not always happen because if people do not see the right signal from the market, they will not become panic. I am sure that now people will always analyze if they hear news from many websites and they don't want to make a rush action. So let people decide on what they will do later if they see the news.

A few years back people even thought that ether would be the next bitcoin but we can all see where it stands today.
It's not that ether is not worthy or something but bitcoin had a greater support from all the people around the world.
I don't think there will be any coin that can beat bitcoin until the support breaks for bitcoin. People's interest towards bitcoin is the reason why it still on the top today.
No coin can replace it until people's interest diver to other coins.

I believe Craig had profited much with his BSV fork.  Remember he have a huge chunk of BTC.  He had encashed a lot in BCH fork and another big profit in BSV fork.  If  you would say to look at his life, I bet he has secured his generation in terms of financial security.

Secondly, take a look at all those so-called "Bitcoin killer coins" and look at their fate without Bitcoin.

Again,  they might not end well in comparison with Bitcoin but the fact that the owner and founder of this so called Bitcoin killer coins have been gaining much financial gains through their centralized tokens.  Remember they raise money for this projects, and reserve a lot of tokens for themselves, I can say they are already fulfilled in their goal for gaining much wealth.  Isn't that the reason why they created this bitcoin killer coins?  I bet they have no regret or whatever since I believe they are mission accomplished.

Bitcoin is the most loved asset in this ecosystem and so it's meaningless to try to make it your hunting mission. Together, Bitcoin lovers are stronger than anyone or any coin.

I agree with you on this but honestly, everyone loves money and profit than Bitcoin.  So who is in the right mind would worship Bitcoin if he is empty pocket by doing so?

So next time you think about killing Bitcoin, remember you'll be "dead and forgotten" before you even start.

It's ok as long as the aim to get funded and enriched oneself is successful.  I bet these developers are laughing and partying even though their token are dumped hard.

those are just a realistic response.  Only few cares about technology most are into getting rich scheme.

because there are still many people who support the development of bitcoin to date.
This is not necessarily the reason albeit a big part of the reason. There are big players in the world who have put their money in bitcoin and making money off it. Dont expect it to drop away so soon, in fact ever.

Because they have their own shitcoins to promote. It sucks to be them since they get anxiety attacks every time bitcoin rises and their shitcoin falls because they know they need to go to reddit boards and start shilling like puppies in need of food.

On the other hand bitcoin holders know every dump is going to be followed by they pump, so they sleep tight.

Those coins are literally nothing but shitcoins which people think are of worth value but are actually worth nothing. If you use the same argument for the original bitcoin then the community support behind it is what differs. Then we also can have a community behind these shitcoins and that is exactly what the owners of these coins want. Hence my advice would be to boycott the use of any bitcoin-forked coins as much as possible. Do not support these so-called-scams and preach bitcoin adoption to your friends.

Of course, this is not a wise decision to make what's even the point of destroying another cryptocurrency when you can have your own. If you guys think that your coin is much better than Bitcoin on both demand and supply then why not just promote your coins and make them useful. Do you know why Bitcoin, Litcoin, Dogecoin Islamic the top is known coins because they have a lot of functionalities? There are literally a lot of websites and casinos and a lot of things which accept them as payment methods. And what does your coin have just sitting on Exchange and waiting for someone to buy and sell.

"Killing bitcoin" might be a kind of strategy to gain attraction to promote their own project or coin but that alsoa part of many attempts to bring down the price of the leading cryptocurrency. Several ambitious developers also created coins that dubbed as bitcoin killer because they had more advanced features and had the ability to overtake the top coin in the future but up to this day, bitcoin is still on top with a big market capitalization.

Bitcoin is widely accepted around the world, its lovers are more than its haters so the people who think of killing BTC should remain out of the globe. Bitcoin transactions are faster, cheap and secure. Being decentralize in nature it can be done w/o any central agency control so why one shall hate it. They are using it to downgrade bitcoin or cryptocurrency and then people started to worry of course they will sell and the value will decrease. That is the time when those people will buy, when the value of btc is cheap. Simple. They are using influence to decrease the value.

I think those we spread negative news about bitcoin are the one who really loves it because it's their way to bring down the price and bag some more bitcoins. Bitcoin will be the king of cryptocurrency for many more years and the ones who opposed or trying to kill it will fail.
I believe those who down bitcoin do not know about it really but take investment into it and got scam or lose rather than earn from it. They have to change their views about bitcoin  and learn how it really works.

Some people quickly invest without knowing the grounds of their chosen assets, afterwards when some sway happened they will quickly quit
with loses and give bad impressions to this coin, if they only do some good research before putting their money, it will lessen the possibilities
of losing investment.

I think btc has some flaws and so creating new coins and capitalising on btc weakness to market your coin isn't bad. I believe we need these different coins to complement each other and to make life comfortable for us all in the crypto sphere

That proves that almost all altcoins are still dependent on bitcoin because the majority of people still believe in bitcoin so there is no point in us making coins intended to kill bitcoin because in the end it will be the same.

we need to take a closer look at the future of bitcoin.  Today, but their users of cryptocurrency are interested in Bitcoin only because everyone believes that Bitcoin will bring very large profits after some time, rising in price above last year's highs of $ 20,000.  Someone predicted and 50,000 dollars and above.  But if Bitcoin will be used as a means of payment and will be globally embedded in a person’s daily life, then its value will increase significantly.

Bitcoin is not easy to remove, and it doesn't occur to me that bitcoin will die by certain coins, bitcoin will last as long as crypto continues.

Bitcoin is the main crypto and I think without bitcoin the whole crypto won't run as expected. Therefore, any attempt to get rid of bitcoin is an attempt to turn off crypto itself. Alts for me is just a complement to the existence of bitcoin and it will be there as long as bitcoin is still there.

Attempts to overcome Bitcoin might happen if there will he a big issue concerning about the security of Bitcoin but as far as the records show, Bitcoin or Blockchain Technology has one of the best security measures that is hard to crack. Attempting to kill Bitcoin might lead to killing your own Platform if decisions are made rashly. Every decisions of Founders must at least concern their platform on how to grow and be utilized by the community.

Bitcoin cannot be killed. An idea cannot be killed. It is far too late and cryptocurrency is far too widespread to be stopped. No government, no organization, no person, no entity can stop cryptocurrency. It has proved it's worth a long time ago and continues to change the lives of the people using it. It has also created somewhat of a community to the those involved and a feeling of togetherness.

They want to kill bitcoin to own the whole crypto industry, its just a normal act by greedy people.

The big difference of Satoshi to them is that Satoshi dont aim for money, he/she is concerned to make a decentralized money that even the creator cannot control or manipulate the system.

Right? They have reason to fear since there are so many cryptocurrency users as more and more people see how much more useful it is then fiat.

It is impossible to remove something that did not exist in the first place. Bitcoin does not have any physical existence if we put it that way, other than some physical bitcoins which are often traded among collectors.

So the only way to stop bitcoin is to close down internet which is again very difficult thing to do. Making a copy cat from bitcoin is a method to scam people literally, but on a broader sense you could justify that these scammers are giving their own benefits to the system - which is obviously a false Bullshit propaganda.

Those who want to kill crypto probably are fear from the development of crypto but we'are as crypto users and crypto investors currently more solid even there was some of countries who decide to legalize bitcoin which is those countries admitted crypto is good for the future but avoiding the people who want to killed attempts would be good and from now on just give some proof to them that crypto benefit for everyone

It is very clear that bitcoin is an attraction for crypto trading, even all altcoins depend on the price movements of bitcoin. Until now there are no altcoins that can match the price of bitcoin. In my opinion even for a long time the price of bitcoin will always be more expensive than altcoin.
Therefore, start trying to invest in altcoins, with less capital you can profit which is not inferior to bitcoin if you choose coins that quickly skyrocket the price. Opportunities are equally great, of course with the right analysis and luck.

I believe all these attempts to kill bitcoin are just marketing. These developers know they can't defeat bitcoin, they are just putting some pressure on the market to consolidate their altcoins in the top trends.
It's a smart idea anyway: they say a new bitcoin is being created, and just for having bitcoin on its name, the altcoin has already more chances to be in evidence than others, especially if they create a lot of polemical statements around it.
that's right it's 100% just a marketing strategy. no one can easily kill bitcoin. they do this hoping that with the big issues their altcoins will grow and attract the attention of many investors. that's a bad strategy in my opinion

this kind of post just makes me laugh.... people are still too close minded... instead of looking at things with reason and think about them, they just prefer to pick sides and be the "defenders", or the "attackers".
Can't you see that crypto is ONE world?
So BTC is the largest, oldest, most widely accepted, stongest coin out there... but... this will not last forever (or otherwise we would still be using salt as money like ages ago), so there is no doubt the future will bring changes... which ones? no one really knows, but everyone tries to guess...
Using reason, I can say that nowadays BTC is the crypto market, the rest are almost satellite projects.... but BTC is falling behind, it is becoming old tech, and full of patches... and this is a fact... so... someday things will be changing ( and I hope the new king won't be something we don't expect like facebook coin)

There are so many times some people attempt bitcoin dies aside from craig wright, banks owners hate bitcoin because possible bitcoin killed banks.
But I strongly believe bitcoin never dies until people supporting this new form of money and aside on that its proven even some country banning bitcoin, bitcoin still exist in the market because the new technology is going to improve so people believe bitcoin is part of the new technology which give to people opportunity to earn profits in easy ways like trading altcoins.

"Most loved asset", more like the most favorite cryptocurrency.

It is true though that with a lot of people wanting to earn a lot of money, they are all investing in Bitcoin and even if there is a huge amount of dump in the past and the future, investors will continue to invest in it since it is volatile. Within a short period of time people can already see the results of their investment, though it is fast it is in your hands how you will play it. So for people that want to "kill" Bitcoin, consider it as impossible unless you have half of the total supply of Bitcoin.

the fact that people misunderstand the possibilities of the cryptocurrency market, and inadequately assess their capabilities.  As an example, the end of 2017, when everyone who tried to make a big profit, became almost poor, because they bought Bitcoin in the period when it reached its next maximum.

Every thing has a reason, whether it's for marketing or other reasons, but usually the party that says bitcoin will die is a competitor
of bitcoin itself. so don't take it seriously, they do it for a reason that benefits their own party

I don't think all of them have really the intention to kill bitcoin. Probably some of them is just saying it in order to hype up their coin. But even though they really have the intention to kill bitcoin, I think doing that is impossible since I think every coin is just following up to bitcoin. If bitcoin falls, most of them falls as well. But bitcoin still got the volatility that no coin can ever have.

They fate is actually based in bitcoin. Look what happens in market once bitcoin moves frequently. All of the coins followed in bitcoin steps also. We are luck because they are not stagnant and they need to react also once bitcoin rise or fall down.

In some point, I agree that bitcoin creates a full attraction to the investors. If it dies, crypto dies also.

I can say with complete confidence that if Bitcoin grows in price, then the entire cryptocurrency market will also move.  Please note that the rating of new cryptocurrencies today improves its position in the cryptocurrency market, and the remaining cryptocurrency comma is at the bottom.  But the situation will change only when Bitcoin and ethereum will increase in price more actively.

Bitcoin is an application of peer-to-peer b-money proposals by Wei Dai and Bitgold proposals by Nick Szabo. The principle of the system in general has been described in 2008 by Satoshi Nakamoto. Until now the name Bitcoin is still being discussed in the world. Becoming a Bitcoin investment is a favorite. good luck

We know for sure that bitcoin is the most valuable coin in the market and for real life situations.
Take for instance the price increase that happened over the course of the last 5 months and compare with other coins.

Compare also the innovations applied into many real life shops where payments systems have been updated to support bitcoin transactions.
Based on that nobody will be able to kill Bitcoin with pure non factual threads. Most of them are just pure self individuals advertisement for getting social medias attentions.

Since bitcoin is not centralized, I think its difficult to kill this currency. If there are attempt it will just be an attempt. No person can hold and rule over bitcoin. That's the main reason why people adopted this digital currency.

It is purely an attempt to only attention from the public but no intention to wipe it out. We know already about Bitcoin and those people who think the negatives about this thing will never succeed. It is not all about decentralizing or centralized in form but people have already in their trust list and Bitcoin has already shown good reputation which we can't erase it.

There are three kinds of people talking negative to bitcoin.
1. People who uses negative words so that newbies withdraw their account and easily manipulate the price.
2. People who spreading fake news about bitcoin because they had a bad experience in it. Mostly panic sellers.
3. People who dont know anything about bitcoin but talks dirty about it because a friend or an aquaintance tells it.

The first person is a wise man because of strategy in a bad way and the other two is useless. So if you are reading any bad things, just ignore it and continue what you do.

But the whales can move the price to any price they want although they cannot do it in all exchanges, they could still play with the price. I also think that bitcoin will adopt bitcoin and the other coins soon, especially if many countries can approve bitcoin to be used as a new way to make money. Many people will get a new chance to make money from bitcoin, and I think they can get a better life too because, in cryptocurrency, people will have unlimited income but with the requirement.

Yeah you are right.. i also dnt think that anyone wanted  to kill bitcoin.. well these are just rumors...
Bitcoin is something that is community backed. People use it because they like it advantages over fiat money. It becomes important to them since they know that it gives back power to the hands of common people who want to transact. While some are happy about it, there are people with malicious thoughts wanting to use bitcoin's name to create a copy cat and steal money from people telling them that their coin is the real bitcoin. Would believe such a liar? Definitely not.

Doing your own analysis and research would help you guide yourself to the proper decision in this case if you are confused.
