Maximum 2 entries per person. You will get Paid for Each UNIQUE Character that you bet on. So go ahead & place your bets. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong & I run out of funds (too many winners) you will get your BTC refunded back to you with a 10%+ extra as compensation.

How will you be able to pay back everyone with 10% extra if you "run out of funds"? That doesn't make sense. What if the total pot is 200 BTC and everyone wins? Do you have a spare 20 BTC to giveaway? You haven't even set any total pot limits in your post.

Also, to add credibility, you should sign a message from an address containing the funds so you know you're legit.

Also also, nobody is going to trust a brand new account with this. Use escrow or make a smart contract. Jeez louise.

Agree to this. There's no guarantee, the winner will win 3x of their bet and you are promising to return winning bets with extra 10%? And if there's a winner how can we verify if we would get the prize of the bet or the additional 10%? Only few of the choices are obviously the best pick for this bet, you'll know this if you really watch GOT.

Why should anyone deposit to a newbie address when there are so many trusted casinos out there with the same bet :D

I don't just get the ops a newbie without any reputation giving out bitcoin address and asking for transactions id there is no guarantee for any winning if at all there will be a winner. I guest the ops have some work to do if he is truly legit.

You need to show that you have enough balance to pay winners, sign a message of a bitcoin address where you owns the btc to pay winners will be good. Even better if you are using escrow to hold the funds, both fund that you own to pay winners and fund that will be the bet from users. Otherwise, do not even expect that you'll get even a single bet.

first of all obviously this user in newbie and can't be trusted even with few cents
second this isn't a way to run a business cause you can't just set a fixed pay rate and pay the winners
he is offering 2/1 (X3.00) but the odds aren't that at all , odds for Bran to rule is way less than that in all the bookies that are still offering the betting and odds for the other characters are way more

so in other words he would be making money if you choose to bet anything beside Bran , but even if he was legit and all people chose to bet on Bran he will go extremly broke and won't afford paying any winner

Pretty much like a scam, it's not safe to trust a brand new account and there is no guarantee for the reward to be sent. I know people are ready to lose for every bet but losing their money to a scammer is not a wise thing, just will make it worse. You should use one of escrow services in this forum if you truly want to run this bet and make everyone's bet safe or prove that you are trustworthy person.

I'd rather play or bet using a know betting site or trusted site like freebitco.in with the same question as this thread asking who will be the next king or queen who sits in the iron throne and I think the iron throne has been destroyed or buried when they attack the kings landing. I did bet in freebitco.in about Game of thrones using the balance I can get every hour and waiting for the results.

Guys,,, if you want to bet directly with far less risk of not getting money back, then you just need to bet with a bookie that is recognized on this forums, or even choose just freebitco.in. You will actually even get much more than 3x for some of those selections, if I am not mistaken. I do not watch this series so even if I bet it will be a pure gamble.

Also if you say that you are trustworthy, then better we should hire an escrow, who will hold the funds and will give the winner the amount he won, as per you directed.

So you just created an account just to post this or to scam anyone? I'm sure that your intention is to scam those people that joins this. You're a newbie and probably no one will believe you because you're 1. A newbie. 2. You don't have escrow to this. 3. You haven't earned any trusts.

I would rather use freebitco.in to bet than another website, especially if the website is a new website.
There is a chance for us to betting in the freebitco.in but of course, we need to have the luck to win.
Besides that, I think the OP needs to hire an escrow agent to hold the win money, so people don't have to feel sad if he runs with the people's money.

I have seen people scamming by making such websites, but this is the most cheapest scam which involves zero investment from the scammer.  :D

It's too good to be true plus there's no guarantee that we could get our winnings. For you to make it possible you need a reliable platform as enough funds to pay for the prizes.
This offer sounds suspicious but I love the idea of betting on Game of Thrones. It's just hard to trust your game offer.

This is what I was thinking when I first saw the thread posted this morning.
Why would anybody risk sending their btc to someone who cant guarantee they actually have any others betting on this? They cant and will more then likely just want to gather bitcoin without any intention of paying out anybody with the final results happening tonight.
Even bookies have ceased to take any bets on the outcome of this television series for more than a week now due to plot leaks all over the internet. ::)

No one will join in your contest or else you first show your balance proof that you will repay the participant or maybe you can used escrow to secured the fund, personally this is suspicious its easy to create contest like this but how will you convice people to join this contest? Game of Thrones is one of my favorite series this thread is suspicious!!

is it so hard to believe! a newbie saying he is going to accept bets on Game of Thrones and he is going to pay 3x BTC if we guess the new king or queen. let's suppose 50% of you 10% of you guys actually made a correct guess (As we have a pritty good idea about game of Thrones) but still how he gonna pay 3x (considering he is a newbie). Op, if you want people to bet with your help, you should have something like a website, to say the least. Moreover, since you are new, and trust is a very sensitive issue for the crypto community, I think it would be best if you made an Ethereum smart contract that would send out the payments automatically after the outcome becomes known. Another way of you to do that is to ask a trusted member of this forum to store all funds and then distribute them to winners. Obviously, you will have to put in some of your funds as well, since it might be the case that more people win than lose. Otherwise, the offer is too suspicious, I am sure you understand that.

yeah you right as i can see 1/2 week before, i saw that there is a website that accepts about who is the next king.
but now i search that website and i found out that they don't accept it anymore

I have noticed same also but have really loved to place some amount on my favorite character which could have been the king seating on the throne but since betting on the characters have been stopped due to possible leak from the various sites offering bet on the series we just have to wait.

bitcoin bookies made it clear that they won't take bets after episode 4 was leaked , so if your bookie didn't bring betting back don't expect them to offer again few hours before the finale

How can you make sure that the person will get 3x if no one will join this competition? Another one, if it is just a 3x and let's say many people joined, how is that possible? So even though let's say 10 people joined this, I'll only get .015 btc? Not buying it.

This looks funny. I wonder how many people will fall victims to this. Why will I just bet with an unknown person when there are many reputable sites to bet. Perhaps only a newbie like yourself will be your victim. Secondly how do I reach you if my payments do not come?

If you put the deposit address in any block explorer you can see if anyone did end up depositing their bitcoin address.
I didnt even bother to since as soon as you send you know your coins are lost. :-[

Seems like all people here are already smart specially with the newbies.Trusting up 0.005 btc wont really be that easy yet sending out funds into
a personal btc address is already a red flag.Why would we trust up an individual if we can actually make bets using up trustable platforms or bookies?

You may be right but we still don't know the real reason behind until it is proven 100% but as we check the op's post it is a bit suspicious in my opinion and also there is a leak of the television series so that makes me more cautious on betting to the character who might be the next king or queen.

As you can see from that link there has been absolutely no bets and nobody ever sent any money to that address before which means nobody fell victim to this scam and that is good news. I know the crypto world became very suspicious of everything because of all the scams and "hacks" and all that after years of going through all of that but that is good thing because nobody can scam crypto people with such low effort anymore. We are wiser and we know better now.

It is indeed a good news! It only means that crypto people are now becoming more aware on scams like this. We are now using our brains and thinking first before we join on something. Going to Game of Thrones Finale, I'm just happy that Bran was crowned as the New King of the Six Kingdoms.

I am not an avid fan of Game of Thrones. But as of now, I want to view it. I want to guess some of it in later day when I finally ask my friend who is addict viewer of GoT. But it seems like you want to have an income opportunity in this setting. Imagine, if there are 20 persons who entered your guessing game and only one of them have won, you will get the others payment.

Formula: 20 persons X 0.05 = 1 BTC
              1 winner = 0.15
