Or maybe invest in some cheap asic usb sticks? no. because i was planning to make a mining rig for mining scrypt and the same time thought to include a good processor to mine some cpu coins like heavy or rie coin while giving gpus a break... Although not as energy efficient as dedicated GPUs, you should check out AMD's APU models, such as their A-8 and A-10 processors. They are CPU processors with a GPU built in. Get an FX-8320 if the board is AMD AM3+ or i5-4670k for Intel 1150.
