Title: best wallet for multiple transactions and api
Post by: ESGames on May 20, 2019, 02:21:35 AM
Hello,

We have a small website, that sends multiple transactions in a day, lately coinbase has been charging very high fees for sending bitcoin. Is there any secure wallet with good api that will allow us to send multiple transactions quickly?
Hoping the api is free if possible :)

if the increase in fees is your only reason for looking for alternative, then it is not Coinbase that is charging higher fees, it is the bitcoin transaction fees that has gone up itself and any other method that you use, you should still pay an increased fee compared to before.

i don't think network fee is a big issue i know btc network fees has gone up but coinbase always charges alot higher than  usual

Transaction from blockchain technology is good one way to make online transaction and we can use exchange for multiple transaction, Crypto coins are now very fast and the overall market for crypto acceptance is also good but in these days i prefer to hold and online shopping is very easy. I am using YoBit.Net is the best exchange and i an use for multiple transactions.

Thank you, thats an exchange though :)
i am looking more for a wallet, where i can send out multiple transactions in a day, priority can be low and fees the lowest possible as well. APi is a must because i dont want to be doing everything manually :)

Why don't you try to use a hardware wallet in storing your btc. You can set the speed of transaction there, thus you can choose what fee are you willing to pay. The fee for each transaction gone up because the price had pumped. I used coinbase before, but, the fees are really killing me. That is why I used coins.ph (hosted web-wallet in Phil.) for my day to day transaction and hard wallet to secure some of my crypto.

Coinbase is awesome but the fees are just too high

why don't you just run bitcoin core on your server and use json-rpc queries to create transactions?

An alternative would be to run an electrum daemon...

Do test out your setup on the testnet before you go live tough, creating raw transactions can be tricky if you're doing it for the first time... You wouldn't want to mess up your fee calculation and end up overpaying...

Its not everyday that I see someone praising Yobit exchange, you high?

When BTC price goes up, transaction fees are already going up as well. You'd see more than your fair share when its happening, sending a piece of BTC when transaction fee is a lot than the amount sent. Its not really ideal to use BTC when it happens which I see altcoins will soon be preferred.

maybe this is the time you can switch to altcoins. like ltc or doge, they not only take lower network fees but also provides high-speed transactions. as their network traffic and block size are much smaller than bitcoin. a business or service should not be slow down because of cryptocurrencies.

The other thing is to ask a few site owners active here on this forum to tell you what wallet they use. Maybe you have to build up a good reputation first to get them to reply, but you will get solid experience.

The other thing I suggest is to hire a small developer to show you some examples. You do not have to make a choice immediately,,, just to see what is available to choose from.

I don't know the wallet that provides fire with low transaction costs. If in the past few days your transaction costs have been higher, this means that this is really due to the price of bitcoin which has increased in recent days and will obviously affect transaction costs.

If the transaction costs are more expensive, in my opinion it's time to move to using the segwit address. Maybe it can cut some expensive transaction costs.

If what you are trying to avoiod are the high fees, sorry my friend we cant do a thing about bitcoin transaction fee going high its the miners and blocks setting the transaction fees.it is not coinbase raising the fees the bitcoin itself
