The most existing Mining scam,beaware :

Scammer : Please create a blockchain wallet and just send me the loging details,let the wallet be empty !

You : I dont want to share my login details !

Scammer : The wallet is empty and I need to connect you to the mining pool and I need the login details !

You : Ok let me share

Scammer : Ok I connected you to the wallet but there should be a minimum amount of btc in your wallet ,so please deposit

You : You would deposit and then they are gone forever as he already stole your wallet pass phrase !

So dont trust these Forex Traders or Minining helps ! They are just SCAM SCAM SCMA ! Stay safe guys !

What can be amazing here is that there can still be victims of this already old way of victimizing people. One, they appeal to newbies to the game so that the victim may not be suspecting of the foul play. Second, there is that shameless appeal to greed -- of what the victim supposedly can get if he is participating in the income or earning program. When the victim is playing along well and will deposit any amount of bitcoin to the wallet that can be the last time he can see his funds. Simple but maybe still working. I am seeing so many posted ads of this nature on Facebook groups. Beware. Caveat emptor!

I too have experienced with the same scam approach through Instagram. Truly speaking anyone will fall for it, because they never ask for funds at the beginning. Request you to give them with a empty wallet which is completely under our control. Better is to stay active and avoid those scams.

to be accurate this has nothing to do with mining!
basically the scammer asks you to give him your private keys and then asks you to send coins to those keys, and if you do, the simply steals them. the scammer in this scenario is using combination of greed plus lack of knowledge (or laziness to do research) of the victims. otherwise that excuse they use to get your private keys is very easy to detect, it doesn't matter if they are using mining as an excuse, trading (API keys), doubling bitcoin,....

People must be really stupid and naive,in order to fall into this scam.
I don't see the point of connecting a wallet with "mining pool" and all that shit.
The "minimum requirement" of having some coins in your wallet is completely stupid.
More noobs should be aware of this scam.

This kind of scheme had been running for years. If you haven't done your homework before entering the crypto sphere then you would fall for this kind of scam. As an investor you are responsible for your money. You should know that you should never trust your money to any stranger. Only fools would fall for this, no one who has a sane mind would give their privatekey/log-in details to earn money.

This is real a cloud mining scammer wanted to use this same tactics to me the last time he said he will create the wallet and send me log in details but I will have to deposits some amount of bitcoin before the mining will start effectively and then I discovered he was a scam.

I know it has nothing to do with Mining but the conversation itself is initiated luring people saying you can earn btcoins by mining !!

Exactly,everybody into CRYPTO are completely aware of it and for seniors these scams might sound sillly and people falling for it might look stupid ! But thats how it is,everyone getting into CRYPTO cant become a HERO the first day so sharing few points in the forums for awareness doesnt harm !

I think people should educate themselves first.

I mean how can anyone be fooled with such a scam after so many years.

People who's not really in with this industry can easily be manipulated, this kinds of act mostly been seen around the social media sites, this scammers are offering free btc tricks to attained interest from readers and once someone got attached and show interest this messages will be provided, it's a highly encourage that everything that you'll do around crypto industry needs to be studied and analyze, protect yourself and assets to those scammers around.

I found somebody in chat who deposited .5 BTC in cloud mining because he was promised that he will get 1 BTC after a month.
I do not know, this should be common sense that you should not send your money like this.

This has been happening for such a long time and it's great to see that people are already aware of this. They're actually targeting beginners and those who would want to start mining, trading and investing. We should get rid of this type of scheme because they would only do things to fool us and to steal our earnings.

Unfortunately some unexperienced people will still fall on this trap, either they need money and don't think they will can lose also the money they have or either they want a fast profit.

Again and again, we have to remind people especially those new in cryptocurrency and investing to never believe everything you see, heard and see online as there will always be scammers just lurking around and if you show some signs of being gullible then you have more chances of being their next victim. Cryptocurrency is a new brave world with opportunities as well as threat and scams are just one of the many threats we should be aware of. Scammers are genius in appealing to our sense of greed and when we bite then we are left with nothing but empty bags.

I never see someone ask that question to me even in my past when I still using cloud mining ;D
I will always reject that thing if any people want to know my private keys, or login details, or anything personal information of me.
But after I got scam from cloud mining, I don't put my trust to them anymore because to believe the new cloud mining will be difficult to get profit and it's the same as expecting to get a profit from the old cloud mining.
It is better to do other things and don't expect much about cloud mining.
But I admitted that there still any cloud mining that was still running until now and mostly, they are recommended and trustable cloud mining so far.

I often get scam scheme on social media Instagram, I even once tried to follow their orders by making a new wallet that was empty and giving all details wallet to him but when he told me to deposit the account I left it. This scam scheme is very dangerous and it is possible that their targets are new people in the world of bitcoin.

No offense but who is stupid enough to believe in such a thing? lol

I've been in mining before but I didn't encountered a scammer like this where in they will ask for details and connect you to the blockchain well only few people who doesn't have enough knowledge will be tricked by this, It's important that we should secure our personal details including our login details and we shouldn't be giving it to anyone.

A real support will just give guides and instructions on how are you going to set it up properly but wouldn't ask for any details and specific amount of coin/s.

The fraud scheme under the guise of bitcoin mining has always existed, various ways they always do so that the victims feel interested and obey what they say, one thing we must remember is that every fraud always promises maximum benefits so that potential victims can be easily tempted by this, so I suggest that you be more careful when getting a bitcoin mining business offer, make sure that they really aren't using you. I prefer to trade instead of mining, because with trading we can as we like to determine the profits we want.

thats what this topic was for,there are many newbies entering into the crypto world which is an advantage for the scammers so they trick them and get their things done and hence was the reason to spread the word !

Has there been more scams than usual? I just keep seeing threads popping up on here talking about scams. Just makes me wonder if this is the shift to hiring more cyber security firms to help with KYC and AML compliance. I know ciphertrace is a recent partner with binance and has been able to track some of the biggest money laundering moves

In the cryptoworld there will always those who will try and take advantage of those who arent knowledgeable of these attempts to steal their crypto away with an elaborate hoax or scheme.
Best to be wary about these type of individuals and the racket they try to get those who are new in crypto involved with them.

The evil I have seen in this community is that people are either too greedy or just not willing to learn basic way to stay off scammers. Falling for a cheap scam like this is very insulting. Yet many are still swimming in the bad water and at the end, they would say online storage is too risky and unsecured. Was trying to teach a young graduate whose friend's bitcoin wallet got hacked some little about securing their wallet, he said nothing can work, so walk away.

Really?, is there people who still bite this kind of scheme? maybe a drunkard but with the right mind I don't think so. In the first place there's no mining pool that will require your login details to join them, only your wallet address is needed for your payout so I find this hard to believe that this scheme still works.

the way in which fraudsters take funds in their wallets is fairly easy, and it is very easy to guess that he is trying to fool the wallet owner. however this method is more effective than wallet hacking. this method relies on the negligence of the wallet owners who are tempted by profits. then who can be fooled, anyone, especially beginners who lack experience.

There are many scammers luring in telegram too, if you contact any support of any exchange regarding your issue in telegram, you will see many messages popping up informing you that they are from the customer support and they are out there to scam your money and they will talk really well to convince you and that is what scammers do, it is a serious issue that everyone should understand and never deal anyone outside the site you are dealing with and never send any coins to any wallet.

It is quite a common thing to get from users requesting to invest on cloud mining which in reality doesn't give the promised profit on the investment. If someone is providing information on hosting service with our equipments for the purpose of low electricity consumption then one can reach out the place if it is within the country and further can make the investment. Without this if we're investing with the hope of getting good profiting out of mining with ease then we're into the trap, so think and act wisely as the crypto market has got lot many scammers who are eager to catch their prey.

So true and in addition to this. They will appear to be so trustworthy, concern for the safety and the benefit of a new target victim. They will appear to be helping, coaching and giving good advices. Once they get the poor person’s trust they will then start to ask for deposit and that will be the beginning of the story.

This was an old script from a long time ago when Cryptocurrency developed. Why can these scripts still trick many investors? We have a lot of evidence, and a lot of people have tricked into continuing to encounter another trap. People should stop greed and stop wanting to get more profits in a short time.

As far as I know those people or individuals who got scam or became a victim are those don't have any idea what He/she doing or what the person entering at. It is some kind of stupidity if We allow the scammers to fool us. But having your own mining rig is good, however joining in any of the cloud mining site was just some kind a ridiculous things and most of the time they are scam mining site.

This information really good for Beginner's. We should not trust people who want to help (mining) us . Scammers are acting as best wisher and helper, so we should not fool or sane mind, just stay away from Scammers....

Scamer always find many kind trick to scaming people. We hope be carefull about this trick like helping to sharing your private key and login detil. Don't trust it even they want to double it your balance or helping you get profits.

The only thing we can do to prevent from the scamming is careful if we see an offers from the mining company that to mining bitcoin or altcoin will be easy because they handle everything and we only have to receive the profit. Many new cloud mining will do that to invite more people to join and deposit their money, but in the end, that company will disappear in less than 1 year.

very clear.  it is a scam.  even I don't believe in cloud mining. 
Cloud Mining services, some pay their old customers from new customer contracts that come to join.  In general, concepts like this are the ponzi concept scheme.  don't believe in hype.  You should worry if there is no mining address in the pool.

All these scam games are just targetting the people who are in the early stages of learning Crypto or who are beginners in Crypto world !

This is very informative for beginners. But we can easily know the scammers as they want log in details.  So who will access this foolness he need to clever. Think before you provide log in details

I still wonder how could people be so stupid to belive this scammers. I mean you are talking to a complete stranger that you don't know and he also doesn't have any reputation behind, he asks you to give the details of your account and then deposit money into that account. It's obvious what's going to happen next and no trusted business or website will ever ask you for that.

Who on earth would fall to this trick?

He lytrally just told you he has the means to open the wallet or whatever you want to make it and then they still give something valueable over to someone.

If people fall for this the deserve it for being so stupid. This isn't even a scam this is just bad. Try harder...

If you were talking about cloud mining which offering profit share but we have to deposit first to get the profit i think we were already discuss about this that most of them are scam and don't trust them too but as mining won't be profitable anymore because the cost of electricity were very expensive people should be more careful and i agree with you that don't ever provide your login details to the other people who not be trusted because it's only scam attempts
