Hello. How do I accept Bitcoin payments on my website?

It's very simple! Get in touch with Bitpay and they will provide an API for the same. Install it and you ate good to go! You can either take settlement in your bank or in your bitcoin wallet. That's it!

Do some research on these, and choose what you think's best for your business.

NOTE: These are just the BTC payment processors I know by name. I have zero idea if these services work well, so dyor.

first thing to do is to decide how much you want to rely on third parties and let them control and track all your financial matters, and then calculate how much transaction (as in total value) you may be handling. if it is large enough it can be worth paying a developer to set up your own node and your own decentralized way of accepting payments without relying on any third party services like the ones introduced above.

If it was my website I would set up my own node and accept payments myself without using a 3rd party middleman.  Its really not that difficult and no one else will know your financial business. One of the biggest reasons for Bitcoin's creation was to cut out greedy middlemen.

@OP, use this. If you're not interested in converting your BTC to fiat instantly, then there is no need to use BitPay (other suggested solutions)  and pay the fees, etc. Use BTCPayServer and be in full control of your funds by running your own node.

I would recommend you to do some research about Coinbase Commerce, for me they are the best option and got the lowest fees per transaction and withdrawals

There are a lot of ways. If you have Wordpress there are plugins. If you are using Shopify it is built in.

I agree with these payment service providers to process and accept Bitcoin payments. You could set your own nodes or use any of these. I would personally suggest you use Bitpay. You could easily receive payments through debit and credit cards.

As far i know Bitpay is most trusted crypto currency payment integration platform . Hope Utrust also providing better  solution . you can try it in their website https://utrust.com/.

I agree that Bitpay is a hood choice but I didn't know that Utrust offers that kind of service as well. All I'm aware of is that Utrust is a trusted coin. If so, I guess I have to check for the new services that they offer.

You can use BitPay and Coinbase Commerce as the best ones as it was already mentioned.
You can take my feedback as example of some user using both. I feel them as to be the safest and trustable ones.
And they are faster then others. Also Coinbase direct links payments with your account which is great so you can see live status directly into your current wallets.

You need to choose one of these services and integrate their plugin to your store. And as you can see from post above, there are many proccessors available. BitPay is the most popular right now. The best and easiest solution for you is to do a little research and choose a service that already does everything for you, from taking the payments to exchanging them into fiat. There are multiple options available out there and they all offer different features so it's up to you to choose which one fits your business model.

Try bitpay or coinpayments. Both are good and trustworthy. Most popular businesses use these two as their payment processors. For example namecheap, a popular hosting company accepts payment via bitpay.

Sorry to OP. Which among this in the list is the easiest to use and easiest to install in my planned blog. I plan to sell something in my blog but the quantity of the item to be sold is not too many, maybe less than 10 in a month. Is it advisable to use any of those or just use the PM function to discuss the price and mode of payment.

It looks like one of the bitcoin payment gateways doesn't mention here.

Do you heard about Blockconomics payment gateway or an opencart I currently testing it but it seems fine.

Its easy,just get intact to some payment processor.Here are the two best options you can use,first is bitpay using bitpay will help you convert your bitcoin funds to fiat almost instantly and second is BTCPAY where you can get full control of your funds.Its up to you to choose

I would like to just be able to read current values from some data site like coinmarketcap.com using javascript which would convert USD price into various cryptocurrencies.  Then it's just a matter of them scanning the QR code after agreeing to the value of the conversion.

It may not be necessary soon. There are many projects. Zeux is such a project for example. But I think the beginning is more POS integration.

You can use the Bitpay and Coinbase service to do it. Bitpay is very familiar in this place and it is easy too. People can send a payment you through the Bitpay. But recently I have used the Coinbase commerce service in Seoclerk to make payments and that was a very cool experience. So, You may try Coinbase too.

Using blockchain wallet on yr site is easy to add , it will be good by input the wallet which can be done by the websites design and once that can be seen on the site any one can pay through the wallet and you get your payment in no time.

You mean providing your wallet address in your site to know the users that it is the address you want to receive the payments?. Base on how I look at your solution is that it looks like you just display your wallet address on your site like some sort of address they can see when you want to donate btc.

I bet you should be doing some thorough research about this so you can decide what better suit to your blog. Perhaps, pm them.and inquire their services thus use what services you quoted as guidelines then decide afterwards..

The product itself is free as it's open source and It really depends on what you're trying to do. If you want to use some settings and features such as LN, for example, running a full node would be required, so you'll need to pay for a hosting service.

I've been using coinpayments for about 2 years on a small ecommerce site and while not a lot of orders go through with it customers do seem happy and I've had no complaints. Since they're the largest you'll probably have the most compatibility with multiple shopping carts.

It is good to see you have intention to add bitcoin payments to your site. I don't know which kinds of things will be exchanged on your site and average value of them. However, in general, I don't think you should only stick with bitcoin. There are other altcoins, that should be used as substitute payments when bitcoin transaction fees raise dramatically at some period. Some good candiates for substitute payments are Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin.

Wow that is one good platform. Does Bitpay covers most of the payment scheme and do they take huge transaction fee? I am a little bit worried if someday I can create my own website and earn on it too that the transaction fee's will be jeopardize from the process of receiving it and converting it to fiat wherein it will deduct for servi e fee each party from the bank and the Bitpay service.

Anyway, I am still.not sure enough if I can have my own site. What matter here is that I know now that there are third party service that could cater in the likes of these needs.

You can use the API https://www.blockchain.com/api/api_receive, it seems there is no fee. And this website is really reliable, maybe the most reliable of the crypto world.
You can find some tutorials on Google to integrate it to your website, if you need a developer I can help  ;)
