Haha, that's a funny story. There must be hundreds of people made similar things and didn't realize the potential of their cryptos, not only btc. Look at Ethereum or Ripple at their beginning. That was a cheap-cheap coins, and look where they are now. Amazing!

It's not a funny story, it's a sign that the boy is doing the best thing in his life starting with him who bought pizza with BTC then fame for BTC and pizza began to emerge. Basically the boy did the best thing he ever had without him BTC was not famous, I really appreciate him well He contributed to spreading BTC from the purchase of the pizza.

Yes you are right it's too late to repend in the retrospect but there is a chance. Invest now and be a KING in the future! Just and invest and hold. Take the risk because even the successful business man and richest man in the take the a big risk before sitting in the golden seat. Make sense you need to do something.

One of the best history to have happen to crypto space and bitcoin where every one that come across bitcoin will learn about .

He actually create awareness for that movement and now thinking otherwise for his action , but all same am sure he will be good too as he can never be forgotten in the crypto space.

At least he got his name and story penned down on the pages of crypto history. and Isn't it enough motivation for people out there to use Bitcoin for their day to day transactions like that little boy did, spending 10000BTC for two pizzas. 10000 BTC right now would be more than $78 million. Anyways, thank you for reminding the Bitcoin Pizza Day. Happy eating!

Yes its a landmark in the history of cryptocurrency as a whole because the boy opened up bitcoin to the entire world and since then it has become so popular in the world. The seller of 10k bitcoin for 2 pizza deverses some accolades.

Of course , I think anyone on crypto would know about him he is a legend and going to be in the history of crypto currency.
And I think he is doing great and for the record there are plenty of people who also done the samething in their crypto because no one knows that it would be this huge.
So we should just move on the guy doesn't even mind it at all they already made the interview.

As an early bitcoin adopter I think he is fine now. It looks a big amount to spend 10,000 btcs for a pair of pizzas, but think how many other bitcoins he may have in his wallet. https://hypebeast.com/2019/5/laszlo-hanyecz-10000-bitcoin-2-papa-johns-pizzas
The guy is happy for being part of bitcoin history and says he doesn't regret it! All the best for him.

You are talking about laszlo, who bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 BTC back in 2010. He was helping Satoshi to secure the network and was rewarded by him. He is doing well today, and does not regret his bitcoin transaction. Today that transaction would be worth about $80 million.

I think that Laszlo Hanyecz is doing fine and in an interview he expressed no regret for that very popular pizza transaction years ago on May 22, 2010 that cost him 10,000 Bitcoin which could have been millions right now. It is already part of history and his name will forever be immortalized not just in this forum but in all the media covering cryptocurrency and every year his name is always remembered. The guy continues to believe on Bitcoin and what the coin can do for the global financial system.

Yeah, but that guy has no idea that Bitcoin will be this expensive. Imagine if that guy canceled his order for the pizza, he absolutely could have pizza factory today. But, what if he actually had more Bitcoin than we knew? He should not worry about his past, probably he's rich right now. Who knows  ;D

Today is mark as the day when Bitcoin can be truly useful in real life. I know it not very "sexy", but the man who bought pizza is the stepping stone of Bitcoin. May 22 will serve as an unforgettable day to each and every user who have known about cryptocurrency as well using it in some way. It all happened because none expected such a massive growth with bitcoin in such a short time period of around ten years time. As he didn't find anything possible with those bitcoins he came forward spending on a pizza where he got an opportunity to spend which now has made it the expensive pizza till date.

Everyday, the guy who used his 10k BTC to buy those pizzas will keep reminiscing and regretting the act, but nothing can be done about it. I saw the supposed transaction hash today in an article and I shook my head, had he known BTC is a rare gem.

I don't think that person is still a boy but rather a man and I am very sure that everyday of his life will end up in regret of why he had to use his bitcoin then to buy pizza that is now worth millions of dollars, and I don't think he can ever forget that even if he wanted too since we all have set aside a date to celebrate pizza day in the crypto community, well it is just a lesson to all of us to learn how to have patient when we see a new technology emerge because we don't know what the future holds for the technology.

Hold coin when its price down and sell coin when its price up or higher than you bought. I never thought the pizza case will repeat again in the future. Because this situation seems like there is a manipulation to make it happened so as we can realize that bitcoin is very worth to be made as investment place. Also this case will make some users of bitcoin will doubt to use their bitcoin as payment system because he only use this case as a benchmark.

NO it's not worth millions of dollar way back then.
The price of bitcoin by that time isn't even high and if its not for that pizza transaction.
People will not urge to try other transactions because it was proven that bitcoin can be use to exchange for goods by that time.

It is a good story of how Bitcoin were used to pay for two pizzas. Back then, the market value of Bitcoin was even less than a dollar and as much as 10,000 Bitcoins (correct me if I am wrong) were paid for two Pizzas. That was probably the first time Bitcoin was accepted as a mode of payment and yeah, had that boy held his Bitcoin so far, he would have been a millionaire.

I think pizza day is just a symbol, I am sure there has been plenty of stuff happened much more worse, I remember reading somewhere someone spending 15k bitcoin just to prove a point and that money is now gone, like a technical thing that doesn't exists now but that dude sent 15k just to show that it was possible to abuse blockchain, I don't know if he managed it or not but that money is no more that is what I remember. Still 10 thousand bitcoins for a pizza is still one of the funniest things in the world, right now that pizza costs about 80 MILLION dollars :D.

I am sure it was the tastiest pizza in the world and the weird thing is, we all have eaten pizza but I doubt we remember when we ate it, we may remember eating it but at least not the date, this dude has eaten a pizza that thousands of people remember the exact date of :D.

Here there is a theme about this man. I read his reviews and he says he doesn't regret it. But I think he's lying) If you are interested then write in the search - PIZZA 10000 btc. There are a lot of photos with this purchase. He's doing well at the moment. He has two children and a beautiful wife. And the most important is that this man thanks to his crazy act has become a living monument)
