What's the time table for all this? Sounds pretty slick all the new stuff. Will there be a timetable released in the june 1st update?

1. Hashing ago should be in open beta in a couple weeks max.
2. EXPEX has been in beta for like 7 months now but we didnt have legal clarity until now.
3. Tokenlab 2.0 we are aiming for the end of the year because its alot of work.

We made our bitcointalk thread moderated because after 4 years of putting up with incessant assholes and their endless horde of sockpuppets we have decided enough was enough. It's time they learn that they are not entitled to our audience in any way shape or form.

How mineable is this coin?  I've been mining this for around 12 hours now at around 170MH, for a coin return of 3.2 coins, totaling $0.56 USD in value.  Does that seem right?  Mining with 7 x r9 280x cards and 2 x RX580's.

The new mining algo testnet pool is being worked on and the new testnet should be up over the next couple weeks to month. It'll be a unique development for expanse and we will be the only people using this algo making us pretty asic safe for now.

Expanse was one of my first favourites coins - unfortunatelly it did not bring me a profits so I forgot about it - anyway Expanse topic remained added to my bitcointalk watchlist.
So I'd like to put in my two cents:
1. There is no exchagne available for me in the exchange list :( From reasonable exchanges I'd like to see EXP listed on kucoin or hitbtc (if they will still operating)
2. Very interesting concept of exp.life - when it will be released live?
3. There is not https://exp.zet-tech.eu/ on pool list, why?

Ive noticed thats a pretty common phenomenon in crypto. The space moves so fast and there are so many new shinny things that people move on quickly.

1. bittrex list exp, exchange listings are tough because exchanges really only value one thing... volume. That's why faking volume is so rampant in the industry. Another thing is, most exchanges want extensive dox on all the team members and after giving my passport and more to over 20 exchanges I'm just done with it. If you would like to see if you can get exp listed go for it. It's also insanely expensive. Binance listing fee last I was quoted was 250 BTC, kucoin was 75, hitbtc was 40BTC.

2. I first came up with the idea for exp.life in 2011. I really really want to work on it but there are so many pieces that need to be made first before I can get there.

I mined EXP a while back and just returned to mining on a pool.  However, I was testing my old scripts, and found my solo mining configuration no longer works.  I used to use solo mining as a backup if my primary pool failed.   I am running the latest gexp and using ethminer or Claymore's miner.  Both return errors that getwork failed after the miner reports a successful connection to gexp.  I tested the same configuration with Ubiq and Music, which use variations of geth/GO and mining works as expected.

Is solo mining with gexp still an option?  If so, did something change in gexp?

I don't think so. Listing in a big exchange is a plus but that would not guarantee that it will reach its ATH. In my opinion, it is the actual development and progress of the project. If the supporters are seeing those good developments, the demand might increase no matter where its at, big or small exchange, we will see a good performance if the project has real value in the market.

Nebula Hardfork

This update bring Expanse up to date with Ethereum. The ETH Istanbul fork included six Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), specific code changes to the ethereum protocol, including EIPs 152, 1108, 1344, 1844, 2028 and 2200. This release also includes 10 months of GETH improvements into GEXP. Making GEXP more interoperable with ETH, ETC and the Zcash chains.

If you use Mist or Luna, your binaries will update on their own. The public nodes for MEW and MyCrypto are already updated. And if you are using a ledger product it means you probably use mew or mycrypto to send your exp. We are in contact with our exchanges to get updated as well.

Hello, I want to ask. Every open luna wallet, we must sync (downloading bloack) from the beginning?
I'm sure the luna wallet was fully sync yesterday.

Yea, if your db is empty - you will download all blocks from 0 to latest.

Also, luna was deprecated because the team that developed it moved on to other projects. I personally use mist, or mew.

We wont be using progpow. But we will be using frankomoto as soon as a developer picks up the slack on the ETH miner fork. We have been close for over a year but having trouble finding someone to finish that portion. If you know a c++ developer interested let us know.

We all heard about CFTC is going after BitMex (a derivative exchange).
An exchange with so much volume and its downfall do have pros and cons to the users while benefiting others major exchanges which have a long standing history on the market.

I would suggest when the time is right since EXPANSE have such a huge market cap and its value had bottomed at affordable price.
It would be a good baby step to get it listed into Binance to have a better grip on Asia market as the American dollars weaken.
Get it paired with USDT as an option at first and once it is going smooth by the next year, considering to paired it with BTC.
The main point now is to get the interested party to buy more of your token with USDT option because there are still many potential investors that don't have access to BTC in many countries.
These potential investors are investing their funds through fund managers foreign currencies swap to USD and then swap to USDT via fund managers agency (normally under private limited licensed financial company).

Hi. I want to add Expanse to MetaMask. I've imported a wallet from the main Expanse wallet application but I'm not sure what the network settings are and can't find them anywhere.

I need the RPC server address and the chain ID. I assume I can use https://explorer.expanse.tech for the explorer address.

If someone could post the info I need, I'd appreciate it. TIA!

It is! By the way, I just noticed an interesting and funny thing when I went to Expanse's Coinmarketcap page. When I clicked the Community tab to find the sub-Reddit it took me here: https://www.reddit.com/r/expanseofficial

It seems like the sub-Reddit has been taken over by fans of the show The Expanse. Having just watched the end of the 5th season I think this is a good thing which perhaps we ought to lean into.

Every crypto needs its memes and so many could come from the show, for example, naming a future release after a character or food from the show ie: "Amos", "Naomi", "Red Kibble" or something integral to it like the Protomolecule being used for a major release. Having someone hold up a physicalized Expanse coin in a photo with the words "Fer da tru belta loda!" written on it, etc! The possibilities are ENDLESSS!!! Like Space itself.

Considering space is hot again with the landing of the new NASA Mars rover Perseverance, probes from India, the U.A.E and China now also circling the
red planet with China due to land its first rover on the planet in a couple months, the universe of The Expanse seems to come closer to reality every day.

I am not sure if you were a fan of the Expanse books when you created the coin but I remember way back then when going to expanse.tech there was a beautiful image of the Earth in space. Might not be the worst idea to like I said, lean into that and all the possible memes. Forget "To the moon!", we're going to Mars and the belt!

Here's another thought.

With EIP-1559 which basically begins the process of ending Ethereum mining opposed by all major mining pools (https://stopeip1559.org), miners will look for other ethash coins to mine. With Expanse's pivot to DeFi with EggSwap, a fork of Uniswap this would make Expanse the most logical coin for all Ethereum miners to mine if there is a revolt similar to after the DAO in 2016 because though they oppose the hard fork which would include EIP=1559 they do not want to keep mining the old chain as was the case where Ethereum Classic was born. No other ethash based chains are as popular as Expanse so naturally it would be the one that miners gravitate towards.

Expanse could take advantage of this with some imagery of asteroid mining.  :)

What just happened with Expanse these years? I used to be a holder when it was at Poloniex.
But now literally, nobody is talking about it even my peers do not talk about it despite its price that can be considered as cheap and undervalued.

i have another question i saw it hits his ATH some time ago about 9 Dollars and now its by 14 Cent again, what is the reason for this and how are the chances its rising again?

Literally, everything went up in late 2017/early 2018 back then. It was due to the parabolic market causing all coins to get pumped that hard.
I do not know the chance for it to reach its ATH again since we have yet any significant pump happening these months.
But considering how cheap it is, even if it does not reach its ATH again. As long as it follows the market, I am sure the ROI we will get will not be low instead it is higher than the rest.
Low cap coin usually brings a better ROI in terms of profit but also has a higher risk compared to the others.

FRKhash is a dagless PoW, it essentially removes the barrier for old cards, allowing any and everyone to mine on exp.
