So I've been trying to get my startup venture off the ground since december but just havent been able to find a loan ANYWHERE. and yes believe me Ive tried everywhere.. I actually just now came across this forum five minutes ago doing an unrelated search hence the new account.. However im willing to provide any verification you'd like to prove my trustworthiness though (id, proof of income, anything reasonable really) .. Let me know if theres anything we could work out, was looking for anything between $100 and 1000..broad range is only because i don't know if or how much I'm even eligible for via this forum tbh.. You have 5 minutes here and amazingly your 1st post is for a loan. You don't even bother to use this time and read before you make your "request".

That is not how loans work out on this forum. You need solid collateral to cover up the amount you're going to get. Also, this loan is highly risky without collateral because you've no idea where your product is going and there is no guarantee the start-up will succeed.

@Condoros : A negative was not needed really. You could have given him a warning and asked to lock the thread.

To give a warning to someone that doesn't care? Someone that can make another account in the same 5' that he waste to make this one, just to post that he wants money?
Sorry man but this guy didn't came here by accident or he just want to ask about it (though he will be blind not to read about something such serious as loans).
He even mention how much he wants, like he was certain that he will get any funds...

For my point of view, is a hell of a neg.

But still, he seemed quite of a noob who isn't aware of how lending works here. This was not like one of that obvious lending scam requests we get from the newbie accounts.

OP found this site five minutes prior to creating an account, but gives himself the pseudonym cryptomaniac?  If he is indeed a cyrptomanic, how is it he didn't know about this site until 5 minutes prior?  I call BS.  This is someone who knows how to work the system just enough to maybe succeed in phishing for a NCL.

But, having said that, I tend to agree with you, Patatas.  If this was an innocent request by some one just too lazy to read the rules, I would give him a pass.  I don't think laziness is deserving of a red tag.

I suppose yes, maybe i did dive right in to asking for a loan too quick without regard for reading the rules and doing a bit more research, correct.. When skimming across it appeared to give me the impression it was similar to the subreddit r/borrow. I have been trying to get funding for my cause for a while now with no luck and figured id post anyway and take the random shot in the dark..
In reference to 'cryptomanic'.. Only a username dude.. Crypto as in im on a bit coin site? Manic as manic.. Not maniAC. I hardly use crypto tbh. Just a username.. That's all.. took the time to skim around some more and i see now why they say there's a high amount of trolling,.. Just losers with nothing better to do than bash 'newbs' over the internet..

Nobody comes to this forum for a dire needed loan in real life. They would go to their bank and mortgage their property to get a loan than find this section of this forum just for a few bucks. Its a crystal clear scam for any sane person.

Marking them with a red is important as newbies can make mistakes while they have been warned. After that whoever wants to deal with them can feel free to ignore comments from any bystanders.

Exactly that amount I can provide but leave out that 1 from the figure and we are all good. JK, offer a collateral or if you cant, then enjoy your negative trust ratings.

If you have income, and your DTI (debt to income ratio), is not too high, and you meet other criteria, there is a good chance you will qualify for a signature loan at a bank.

A bank is better equipped to collect and go after a borrower who defaults on a loan than a lender here would. As such they can make loans to people who would not get a loan here.

If this is a startup and you have to get a loan to get it off the ground, why not go to a venture capitalist, pitch to them and get a venture debt or an investment? Why come here? I have started my own company before without the need of a loan or investment, and im positive that you can do the same too. Realistically, just jumping in without even reading the rules (and even r/borrow has rules too) and without valid collateral that is 120% of what youre seeking is usually a clear sign of someone is trying to pull a fast one and take money and run.
