There is analysis I read somewhere that bitcoin can be staying flat for the next few weeks until within June 2019 there can be a breakthrough that can trigger bitcoin to go beyond the barrier of $10,000. The continuing positive overall market sentiment is a big signal that bitcoin is going into this direction. There is an occurrence of a mild correction happening from time to time this time which by the way offers a good opportunity for people to get in with the bitcoin bandwagon.

I am sure that bitcoin lovers will be happy and excited to witness bitcoin finally breach the $10,000 level after staying comfortably in the $8,000 zone. Do you think bitcoin still has the energy left for the run towards the $10,000 stopover or will there be some retracement instead.

June is next month, now BTC is still in the comfort zone like your words. I think there is an increase again in July not in June cause this comfort zone IMO is still vulnerable to correction, but my opinion maybe wrong and hope wrong cause I also want to see a better increase from BTC.

I do not think so. Bitcoin is still struggling to break the price level of $7800 - $8000. If it goes beyond the price level of $8500, by the end of this month, then it might touch 11k. There is too much resistance at 8k.

I don't think so, it's too early. Although everything is possible with Bitcoin and price can change easily I don't think we will see such pump so soon.
Price is still vulnerable for corrections and in the next month or two it will probably stay in the current range. For price above 11000$ we would need continuous growth and that is not going to happen.

my speculation is a slower rise from here to $10k which may take a while and then a "breakout" happens but not before. which means talking about $11.5k is not really important for me, i care mostly about the $10k target and when that is going to be broken because when it does we can easily see a big rise follow that up right away in which case $15k is a more possible next target.
but then again up until that point can take a couple of months.

I also think the same. it seems like BTC hit 10K in June too early. nowadays BTC is very difficult to cross 8.5K barrier. various predictions may occur, I am very supportive if it can indeed touch 10K in June. if at the end of this month BTC can touch 9K, June BTC can run up to 10K like OP said. hope it will happen.

At this moment, Bitcoin's price is going sideways and it will be June 1 in 5 days. I don't think the price of Bitcoin has enough momentum as this moment to reach 11,500$ in the month of June. I speculate that it will reach the 5 digit price but I think it will not be June. Maybe on the second half of the year :)

It seems that it will not happen in june. Maybe August, this time bitcoin price will fall to around $6.000-$7.000 after that the price will rise again. Since the demand for bitcoin is big then people who buy bitcoin at $3.000 -$4.000 that sell their bitcoin now don't give significant impact toward bitcoin price movement. The price now stable between $ 7.500 - $8.000. But this will not like that for long time. The price will go up again soon. I am doubt to buy bitcoin this month and next month. Maybe August is the right tine for me to buy bitcoin when the price of it is rise.

It is very possible for bitcoin to grow up to 11,000$ by June only if it can break the 8k resistance I'm yet to be confused though but the 11k price is possible this year

with the current momentum that bitcoin has, reaching a price above $10k in a month from now is a very easy thing because you have to consider the size of this rise which is only a small 25% rise from the current price whereas we have already had a much bigger 170% rise this year mainly in the past 2 months and it is still not yet a full blown bull market.

Its hard to speculate about 3k$ in 1 month. Sure it is possible, but i think if the next wave is going up we won't go higher than arround 10.3k$. But i wouldn't be really unhappy if i'm wrong ;) 10k$ is a very psychological mark, either we are hitting it and stay nearly flat for a few days or we are hitting it and than we will see a dump like one week before. I really don't think that buyers will push the price without correction / break up to 11k.

I mean there are a lot of times that BTC surprised us with a pump, it is the same with the recent pump when it just burst out of $3K to $8K, it doubled the price and now it is staying at that price. I think it can be doubled and higher than $10K, it may reach higher than that but will be getting back to $10K or $9K because of the correction.

Right now i expect for btc to break 8200 resistance and go for 10k $. But i am not sure it can also break 10k$ in a month.

So my guess would be 9-9.5k $ value for bitcoin in June 2019.

We still don't achieve 8500$ mark now and it barely holds on $8k. Hoping for $11,500 for the next few weeks is just too much and if it really happens be prepared for a huge correction too. We can all just speculate but in the end it's the market that will decide.

June is like a few days from now and I think 3k$ pump is very impossible,  we haven't even reached 8.5k$ until today. Though the market trend right now is upward and 3k$ is just a big amount but who knows, we can't really tell. I just hope it will continue to rise and maybe reach 11.5k$. I guess, we just have to wait and see.

No problem with that because soon we will achieve $8500 and we will see the price increases and reach $11,500.
We have a few more days before this month end so the price will also have more time to increase higher and we should be patient to wait and meanwhile, we can add more bitcoin to our wallet and wait for the next increases.
There will be many more speculation from other people that will make us confuse to choose which speculate that we can use as our analysis so we can make our own price to buy or sell bitcoin later.

Your somewhere is still speculation until you posted that article where you read it, everyone can predict but there should be a logic behind it, we are in a bull run and it's a few days before May what could possibly trigger the $11,500 in a volatile market we need a good and realistic analysis.

Right now we have a lot speculation and manipulation in the btc market and I feel that soon we may see some corrections in the btc price.
Bitcoin will fall short before it rises again, as always.

It all depends on the market we have seen it calm down at $8K and playing the price around $7.9-8k right now,
So if this continue then it wouldn't obviously and I don't think that it would change anytime soon unless there would be a positive news about Bitcoin that would drive the price up.

$11,500 per bitcoin this June is really exciting, but it seems far from reality. Currently, better to enjoy the nice and slow rise. Do some short trading to take advantage of the situations. $11,500 might be a reality towards the end of third quarter of the year.

There has not been any move to show that bitcoin can break $ 8k5 in the near future. The market is still trading in a very narrow range from $ 7k5 to $ 8k, the expectation that bitcoin can break $ 8k5 is a possibility. But if the price cannot increase by more than $10,000 then we need to be still patient to wait for the price increases. Perhaps, the price will appear in this year, but we are difficult to know when the price can increase and in what month it will happen.

Right now am looking at the resistance, but only if the resistance can be crush then we will experience such a surge without any iota of doubt but if that's not gona happen, then am not seeing any thing changing in respect to a surge in June 2019. If this even happens I would say that we need to break some big resistance at $9k and $10k to make this. Obviously, It will not be so easy to happen but as it is Bitcoin and did a massive growth over the last month, It can happen too.

Month of June is the last month of the 2nd quarter and I think the price of bitcoin will be good so $9k is possible and can go high again. Bitcoin will not stay on the level of $8k, it will start to grow again and in the first week of June the price will test the resistance again.

Bitcoin is now staying in the comfort zone. And yes, I think Bitcoin's value will increase further this June. Bitcoin value is now very good, and hopefully it will increase further. It is a good news for Bitcoin users that it's value is probably going to increase again.

The possibility for it to reach $10000 during June is high sure, because we're going through the bull run, so everything is possible

$10000 is surely a possibility for the next month, though again everything is still vague and shaky from this point as there doesn't seem to be any clear reason for price to push, and market activity seemed to have plateaued between the buying and the selling side for a few days now. The correction has already happened (or so we think it did) and there's nothing holding back the price to lunge into higher highs for 2019.

I don't think so the movement for the last two months is very slow but steady, and it will continue that way heading to the 3rd quarter it will increase fast last quarter of the year heading to the much-awaited halving, even the news about Facebook coin did not help to pump Bitcoin.

Yes the resistance at $8K had been very strong price rallied most of the time it hits that zone and retraced or pullback its almost five times that the price of bitcoin tries to breach that zone but unsuccessful,  however once that strong resistance is broken the price might journey to next zone at $10K+ the tendency of the price reaching $11500 in June might not be realistic  yes.

It is possible at least at $10,000. We are being restricted by the $8,000. A little push above it will see price running fast to next major level which is $10,000 and $11,000 area.

Right now, it's a gamble to say. It depends how long we go sideways here at the $8,000 level. The longer we consolidate now, the more powerful the next breakout will be.

If the breakout happens soon (next day or two) then I think we'll stop near $10K. If we slosh around for a couple weeks first, then I could see a move higher towards $12K.

Mild correction has to happen to make it balance so I'm already expecting that to come. As per checking the prices now, we just made it ot $8,600 and $10,000 is just around the corner.

Think of it, we came from $3k to $6k back to $5k and now we're mooning and totally on $8,600. I still can't say how much the support would because it's still testing the waters. Whenever bitcoin becomes stagnant, it's always surprising us with this kind of trend.

The chances will be 50/50, really far from the reality but may possible to happen at any moment. Possible Bitcoin might hit $11,500 next month since we are already at $8700 today. Maybe at the last week of June, we will gonna see Bitcoin hitting $11,500 this year but if not then the possible price would be $10k. But let's not forget the price correction that might occur so the possibilities of hitting $11,500 this June might extend in July.

I am still in doubt with that although it could really happen since bitcoin is volatile.
There may be a time that it will hit that number but it will never stay for long.

Remember, there are still investors who joined that bandwagon thinking bitcoin can reach $50k from that 19k during December 2017.
They are still keeping their bitcoin with the though of getting ROI or just a little bit more to avoid large loss. 11,500 might be their lane and they will dump it all in a haste.

Answer of your title is yes, most likely we will see above $10K on coming June if in case bitcoin follow the current trend. Seems tonight bitcoin tried to break $9K and I am expecting that it will happen within short time. So if stay above $9K means we can expect another bull trend which will be above $10K. I am suspecting that bitcoin likely following the trend of last bull run on 2017. Growth of bitcoin looking strong in my opinions, so let's wait and see.

Right, obviously we all know that we just had a break out run today and people are already talking about $10k. We still in the last week of May, so if those analysis is correct, most like we can break $9k in about a couple of days and then June $10k-$11 is in plain site.

Yes let's claim it. I believe its an 85% possible since the movement of price can lead into that. Its almost the end of may and the price is playing at $9,500. $2K in a month is easy to reach if the price doesnt fall and rise even slowly every week so continue holding your BTC until then.

Yes it is possible thinking that it happen last june 2018 where bitcoin reaches to 10K USD and ETH that time had almost doubled its market price. Yes, it's possible and Bitcoin could surprise us every time when we speak about price movements but to my opinion it's not very likely to.cross 10000$ in.June. We see how price is moving back and forth all the time so corrections are very often and to my opinion similar situation will continue in the next period of time.

Yes price do come and forth but every time it comes back a bit, the next day you will see it come with a very good price just like what it did from $3k and $5k then to $7k. And this is what I'm looking at it right now because it's possible to happen.

That is an increase of $2500 and not $1500 which I also would agree with you may happen by then.  Most of us actually believe that bitcoin will peak at $10k by June from our analysis, but it seems bitcoin is always a step ahead of our prediction, which makes $11500 a realistic value for the month of June.

I have an analyst I believe though who told me there would still be a very big pull back from this current value because he believes that bitcoin is currently being overbought, but I would not want to pick on his opinion that much because I have seen greater analyst so sure of their stand but eventually got it wrong.

No, I don't think bitcoin will be hit $11500 in June, you know June is the next month, so it is unpredictable for bitcoin that it come in this price in the next month. But no doubt bitcoin will be come at $11500 but not in June, bitcoin will come in this price till the end of 2019.

It has to cross 10k soon and those who had being holding for long time will yield some good gains as just we have seen how 100% rise it has happened in last couple of months itself and continues to rise as well in the future. There might be some price corrections or declines coming this June for bitcoin so it might not be possible to reach that target price. Some declines are steep and one example is the recent flash surge to $9k then followed by a big drop down to its recent price. The investors dumped nearly instantly after it reached the $9k. The bitcoin needs a continuous uptrend with few corrections to reach the $11500 in June.

That's a big question until now, and as far as the trending price surges I think we're not too far to reach to that point of price at $11,500. But unfortunately there's some news that has gone so controversial these days, maybe it didn't sound so alarming since people started to gain more confidence on holding their valuable assets. Some fake news circulating and tried to pull down btc's brighter journey, and although it has been stabilized for week I think some group of whales tried to do some unexpected manipulations which tend to surprise everybody at one glance. If you do some reviews on the chart of bitcoin lastly, you'll witness a huge spike towards downfall below $8k which ranged at $7.8k then back again to $8k onwards.

From my little study of bitcoin for the past 2 months, I think it has become an habit for investors to always sell of temporarily when price surges a little which make the price dump, and then I realize that they buy back which pushes the price further and above, I think this has become a norm now, which means this little retrace will bounce back soon to give further strength for it to push above $9000.

If within the next few days bitcoin can increase above that, then I will be sure that before the end of June, bitcoin value will rise to $11500, but for now, I would not want to predict yet what will happen after bitcoin gets to $11500.

It's true. When btc hit 9000 dollars it suddenly came back to 8300 dollar again. A kind of panic selling happened on that moment because we were reaching a price zone where we haven't been for too long. But we can see bitcoin is strong because after one day it was already rising again.
The market wants to hit 9000 dollars once more, now with less panic and fear. If bitcoin is able to rise 500 dollars on a consistent basis every month it's good enough.

In terms of possibilities, yes, why wouldn't it be possible, will it do it? We don't know, TA doesn't really work that well for longer timeframes in this market, I will say one thing, there is still a lot of bull strength behind bitcoin, enough to push above 9k again in the next few days. We are just on another period wherein bulls is just taking a rest. But I agree that there's a lot of strength so when they started to run, the price might reach $11.5 this month alone. Of course there will be periods of resistance, but as we goes along I'm sure it will be broken and the price will go 5 digits again.

Of course it's possible but then no one really knows what were going to happen. All we can do right now is just speculate and hope for a price we are expecting. We should think first on when we're going to break the $10k barrier before we jump into that $11.5k. As of now, the price is holding back and can't show the resistance in $9k. What really makes this market better now is we are getting a stable price after every correction, then price will pump again.
By looking at the price trends, we can analyze that what we are holding now is already a great improvement, that's 100% more, compared to the cheapest price of bitcoin this year, and crypto market are doing better this year, so I think people are really investing, and the bear have diminish for the bulls to be given the opportunity to run in the market again.

Looking at the daily chart, I'm noticing some similarities to the late April period, right before we broke above $6,000. Momentum indicators have recharged so there's lots of room to keep running. We may be "slow mooning", slowly grinding upwards until the next period of FOMO gets triggered.

  The current value of bitcoin is heading up positively with people around who are optimistic of its bountiful outcome. Consequently, the market has carrying high volatilization that affect its value, still I am determine that bitcoin's value will continue to arouse accumulately profitable, by looking the current phase that shown gradual progression.

reaching $11,000 are very difficult for bitcoin, since we wre in June right now, i think there will not significant up and down rise until the end of 2019. i hope the price are more stable to what we have in 2018, i cant see the fall of bitcoin price down no more, because my target are to return all of my lost from the last year in the beginning of 2020. lets hope current market situation will support all of crypto community and attract more investors in cryptocurrency

I think that if it can reach $ 11.5k, the bitcoin chart is showing clear signs that the market does not want nor do I think there can be any strong correction, in fact, the most probable thing is that a possible bullish rally may arise, because the volume of the purchases have been very high. Now we have an environment of lateralization, which turns out to be very beneficial, because when obtaining liquidity means that we can be waiting for a possible rally, or if the bears enter, they will not have enough strength to lower it thanks to the small liquidity zone.

Next resistance seems to be at around 9500$, it's the fib retracement from the ATH. Although I'm not sure how big of a resistance this will be since a lot of people do not use those, for me personally, the next big resistance I believe is at 10k and we will probably hit it in the next few weeks followed by a pullback and some correction on the weekly chart. I don't think it will happen now because we still have a lot of strength and the RSI has cooled off a little bit.

One of the reasons I modeled this price action after the $6K area is that I think $6K and $10K represent similar S/R and psychological resistance. Everyone expected resistance at $6K, so we saw 3 mini selloffs from sellers in the $5,000s who were obviously anticipating an imminent crash. But then we blew right through $6,000 and never looked back.

So I think we might see another similar dump attempt off the $9,000s but then blow right through $10K.

It is similar but also different, the area at 6k that you are mentioning was far more extended. Trading sideways for a month almost. The area we are currently in has only been trading sideways for a few days and it followed a strong uptrend. These are key differences and to me they show a far stronger bitcoin now than at 6k.

I don't think Bitcoin hit 11K USD too early! BTC price is becoming stable at 8K USD nowadays! It can go to 10K USD from June to July! Though i have seen many articles and analysis about 11500 USD in June, but I want to stay at the ground. We need a strong and stable BTC price, not a bubble again!

We've been trading in the $8,000s for ~ 3 weeks now believe it or not. This area has definitely proven more volatile than the $5,000-$6,000 area (which is very normal the higher we go into a parabolic rise) but in terms of momentum and structure it's very similar, hence the similarity in Chande momentum seen above.

Anyway, I live by the mantra "history rhymes but never repeats" so I don't expect things to play out exactly the same. My point is more that the market is still retaining bullish structure and momentum just like it was in the $5,000s. This is a good sign. Until the daily chart shows signs of weakness, I have a bullish bias.

We had an equilibrium pattern that broke bullish and saw continuation over the following days, that shows strength, volatility is meaningless, again, the area we are now shows a lot mor strength than the one at 6k, all technical indicators say so, weekly uptrend, daily uptrend, monthly uptrend forming.

June is right now so it means there is a chance we should see 11.5k this month. Now one month is a short period of time for going up but at the same time for such a small increase its a lot of time as well. We have seen bitcoin moving from 4k to 6-7 thousand dollars in a month so from almost 9 thousand to 11.5k is nothing that special anymore to us. The question remains to be will bitcoin go up or go down in that case. If bitcoin goes down this month than we are not going to see any big numbers but if bitcoin goes up then 11.5k is not that remarkable at all, it is quite close and we will be there soon without that much trouble. So what do you think? Will it go up or will it go down this month?

For now we more have to fear we dont fall towards the 8k bar.  Looking back much can happen in a month but 11k or more will be a battle.

so far, there has been no significant price development from bitcoin. yes, the price is still at $ 8k. if there are major developments, I think the potential will only be at a price of $ 9k, and it's already very good if it reaches $ 10k.

For me, there is only a small chance. I said that because I was looking at twitter feeds and I saw some posts that is shared that came from an influential asian trader announcing to his followers that it's time to dump when btc hits $9k. As expected, there was a lot of negative comments but it make me also imagine like what if some huge group of traders are also just waiting for $10k for their massive dump. I really hope not.

Now I guess we have a good month this June, first week and we are seeing another big correction.
If the correction will only for the first week and remaining movement will be uptrend, guess we we will be at $10,000 soon, $11,500 is just too high IMO.

Why do you think picking that value will be difficult for bitcoin, If it was not difficult for bitcoin to reach up to $9000 at this period when we least expected, the remaining part of the year will bring another great increase, because we will have lost of organic pump to see due to new investors that will get to know about bitcoin and invest in it.

I agree with you that I do not also see any imminent drop of price, so if we don’t expect any drop, then we will expect increase because it is going to be impossible for market to stay static when we will always have decisions being made as regard BTC by investors on a daily basis.

My guess is that BTC will soar like an eagle June and July. It will go parabolic.
 
BTC went down to $7,487 today but right now it is moving back up.

If we look at the situations now, I think it's a bit difficult to hit $11,500 by the end of June 2019 because we are now at $7800 and still up and down in many times. But it could be possible to happen since we don't know what will happen later and if we take a look at the chart when the bitcoin price is at $3000-$4000, we are difficult to see the higher price, but suddenly, the price can increase in a short time. So we might see good news in this month and will push the price to increase higher, or we will see the price stable at a price now. There are so many possibilities that might happen in the market, and there are many predictions that we will see.

That's still very unpredictable for this time, and we cannot exactly fortold a big statement towards it's actual price. Maybe it can be meet at that point of price status but I cannot further conclude the exact months to when it will be reach at $11.5k price.

Yeah, the decline was unexpected. As of now, the price is getting a hard time to get back at $8k so maybe $11.5k right now is a little bit hard to achieved. Not unless, unexpected pump will happen again. I guess there's no decline next to the recent we got, because if there is, fall should have continue since others will get panic again that will cause the price to fall down further but it's not.

Such price for me is also not achievable for this month. But everything is possible here in crypto as you can see a drastic price change over the next 24 hours. Just like the sudden dump that we never expected. So another pump would be more than possible and we might see it reaching at $11500. But I will be more conservative, my prediction is - it will not hit yet this month.

If that prediction is strong then can we say this decline is a scenario for prices at the pump to be higher in the near future, because that is true, to reach $11,500 in the near future this month is unlikely. But back again, we no one knows and all possibilities will certainly occur whether with this decline which means a process to increase further or only stay in the current range or even fall deeper.

Even the current price still falls again and is under $8k now. but I am not doubtful about the price that might touch $11k in the next few days, which I believe is that prices fell because prices had touched $9k earlier and down because many people were selling, but I'm sure prices will rise again!

I don't think Bitcoin will reach that price this month. Probably such prediction appeared when the price was close to 9000$ with tendency for further growth but at the moment we are in correction phase and I think that price will continue to fluctuate back and forth but no significant growth will happen.

It's still possible but it could go both ways. In the end market makers decide what happens, not shitty TA.

As it turns out, $11K is so far a way. Despite what happen, I'm still happy to see it rises above $7k. Bullrun doesn't come as easy as we thought.

June seem to be too early. We might just have to wait for the halving before our bulls come to rescue us. The bullrun back 2017 also happened after the bullrun and so it we are going to hope for it, I think it will happen by 2020.
