Title: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week
Post by: casperBGD on May 26, 2019, 09:20:36 PM
Bitcoin just jumped to 8,5k USD, with a new high compared to previous uprise, will this be the turn above 10k USD, seems to be easy for BTC this time

$10k is a very easy target. But then again, it might go back again to $8k. Maybe, right time for short-term traders to play in the market. This is good opportunity if you have your funds to roll out with. You can get profit if you know how to follow the simple rule in trading - buy low sell high.

This is quite great news for all btc holders. The price is really doing good in the market lately.

This is serious. Just checked now after seeing this thread. Price is now at $8,616 after trading at $7,9.. today. The volatility of bitcoin always shows when price going high. I think it might break even at 10,000 soon.

If there will be more  positive news, events and hype that will occur there might be possibilities that hitting 10k is reacheable. The price jumped to quick and it could go further more or just go back a little. The market is really difficult to speculate, just be prepared.

If will continue grow on this way, clear will hit 10k this week, but i think maybe 10k will be reach the start of next month, so on week days, until the we can wait and hold, anyway i preffer to hold for longer time, until a new ATH.

10k will be hard to achieve this week, maybe in the next coming weeks.
As you might be aware, there are probably so many sell orders that will be triggered towards the 10k region. I expect a lot of resistance there before we can finally cross past 10k.

Bitcoin will definitely hit $10k but not within this week. Probably within the first week of June 2019 and it will remain there for a while before the price increases again. This is an indication that 2019 is indeed a bull run year.

Well, it might hit it but let's not forget the correction. I'm posting this after I checked the current price and now we are at $8.7K, it seems that it is not stopping and it is a possibility that it will be hitting $10K if this continues. Seems that everyone needs to fasten their seatbelts and be ready to takeoff.

It could end up going over $10,000 this week, but I'm going to wait until it actually does to start celebrating. Other weeks have seen slumps or slowdowns which could easily happen again. Either way, this has been a bunch of good news for the most part. The continued rise, which has taken a decent amount of time relative to the other increases in value, has shown itself to be more sustainable than the insane bull runs that have existed in Bitcoin's past. If this run can retain the momentum enough to keep it high in the $10k range, that alone is a lot of good news for Bitcoin. I'm not exactly sure where it's going to end up, but we're bearing a lot of similarities to early 2018. I can't say I'd be against runs like this repeating every year, but this one has been much slower than normal. It could point to a new future for the market trends in Bitcoin, now that the FOMO has more-or-less worn off for a lot of people.

Yes it can be, the price of bitcoin always pump on the last and first week of the month so a higher price can be seen this quarter, and its good for bitcoin to pump like this. This a big up since the correction and maybe the small correction ends early and we are now heading to $10k level. Its the game for BTC and ETH, they look better now.

That is right ;D
Finally, we saw bitcoin price touch more than $8,500, and the next target will be $9,000, and we almost reach that price.
Maybe in the next few hours or the next days, we will see the price will be on $9,000, and I am sure that from now on, many people are making a nice profit from bitcoin.
But don't forget that we still have a chance to see a correction that will happen after bitcoin price reaches the highest price, so you don't have to panic or shock.
Just make sure you have the money to buy more bitcoin when it's down for a moment.

agree, it will cross first for sure the $9K before jumping to $10K. Well, this is really a good news. It only means, the other coins is also turning into green.
No one knows if this bull run would continue this week until the coming weeks, but I'm hoping... Definitely, bitcoin buyers from the price below $8K are now enjoying the profits.
Could they not having a hard decision  if this will continue to hold btc or sell now?

Anything could happen in just a single week. Let's wait for Bitcoin to reach $9k first before we assume that it could reach $10k. However, we should also consider that bitcoin could also decrease anytime. Its volatility is always surprising so we should observe and see what will happen.

I don´t like when BTC reaches a higher price in such short time, it's better to rise in a more organic way, slowly

Before we discuss if this surge will reach 10K, we must first see if this price can be sustained. This can just be a price pump and dump manipulation. If that is so, this price can fall just as easily. But once we see strong support, it is just logical that the next price target is above 9K. Then after that, we can discuss 10K price target.

Good period to swing your trades, the trend is obvious where BTC refuses to go down after a long bear, the recovery from 4k was insanely quick, following by a new heights pretty soon. Optimistic but previously I had the same mindset before BTC is going down on 20k. Take profit and stop losses guys

I keep saying that the price will sit around $8200 by the end of this month and over $20k by Christmas.. that's a 2 to 3% increase per week and I honestly believe that this is the best way for BTC price to grow without having all these famous "corrections"

Lol, what not try to hit $9k first before we jump? Again, let me remind everyone that we don't want a parabolic rise here. A steady climb would be great, because we all know that after a massive run, what follows is correction of around 30%. So just stay relax this week and see if we can break that $9k and then we will talk about the next barrier to breach.

I am a little bit surprised of this sudden jump I was thinking that it will first go and stay at around $8,300. Now in case bitcoin will be jumping around as it is doing today then there is a big possibility that days from now it can reach the $10,000 zone...this is getting to be an exciting month for the King of Crypto. However, am more excited of what bitcoin can become next year which is the schedule for another halving and I am sure there will be more good news with possibility of ETF approval by the SEC.

i still lean towards a slower price rise from $7500 to $10000 and this recent price rise is not changing that yet. remember that it was not a big rise either since it was only a 6% rise and a rise that occurred after breaking a resistance at a psychological round number where day traders place automatically triggered buy orders.

There's a high probability that bitcoin can reach $10k in a span of one week, well we are in a bullrun and it's easy to understand where we are heading on. However there's also a chance that it might go back to $8k or $7.5k so we just need to be careful on how we trade and secure our portfolios.

Reaching Bitcoin at 10k is not something difficult. At this moment, its cost of Bitcoin is 8500 USD which does not take much time to reach 10k. But now I think Bitcoin will reach 10k and return to 8k. But then it is not going to be sure what will happen.

According to expert traders it's no doubt that in no time bitcoin might hit $9000 or even $10000 but eventually it will fall again, but they're just a technical analysis or a guide for a traders but there's a lot of things that may affect this such as psychological thinking, environment, etc. well we can assume that but again there's no assurance in trading and still we need to take risk in order to for us to earn.

I think there is a high chance that we will hit $10k before this week ends. Bitcoin already break $8k usd where it was holding on for some couple of days. If that happens only 100% gain left to reach ATH again and maybe achieve a new milestone for bitcoin this year.

I agree that $10,000 is right around the corner, but given the parabolic move of BTC lately, there could be a breather just before then. I would say it's extremely likely we will blast past that level this year, and perhaps before the summer ends. I expect FOMO to hit this market once we reach $10,000.

If the bitcoin hit more than 20k this will be the new thing of this year and we can trade these coin in 2019 for profit.

Nobody can predict its price but what I reckon is that it’s price movement is a lot more organic now compared to how it spiked up in 3 months in 2017. That is a necessity in order to keep the price high instead of it correcting and crashing back down. But I reckon it will reach $10k, just a matter of asking when.

Its true, nobody can predict bitcoin price movement, but we can hope for higher prices. $10k sounds big, but for me that is just one step to the top, we need to make much more steps in upcoming years to reach that top. I`m joyful when price is rising, but I will not sell at $10k or $20k when they come, I believe in higher prices, with that I`m holding what I have and I`m trying to make more, before next train to the top.
What I`m saying is dont get too excited by every rise, you will spend yourself on little rises, wait for the big one, keep your power for that time.

in this case we need to prepare ourselves to increase the amount of assets we have. maybe this week there is a possibility that the price of bitcoin can reach that price. but, I think the price increase must continue to increase starting today. at present the price of bitcoin is $ 8,744, and continues to grow.

There is a lot of reason now for the bitcoin to hit $10,000 , first bitcoin now value is around $8700-8800 and bitcoin only needs $1000 plus to increased to the $10,000 it is still possible for this week it will happen or even the last few days of month of May because bitcoin can rise to $10,000 even in hour only and we know the ability of the bitcoin because it can increase high as fast it can .

Now we see that after the next small correction, Bitcoin began another price increase. If in the morning the price of Bitcoin, according to CoinMarketCap, was $ 8,720, by the evening the price had risen to $ 8,871. While growth is not bad. However, this does not mean that Bitcoin will continue to maintain its growth rate throughout the whole week, so that by its end it will reach a price of 10,000 dollars. This is unlikely to happen. We see that this year bitcoin is growing moderately, leaving it for the correction of its course. Therefore, no need to rush things.

It is still very possible for bitcoin to reach $10,000 before the end of this week as we still have about seven days to go. I see the current uprise or upward trend to continue throughout this months before we would see another little correction again as it happened last two week. Many things has happened since I came into this cryptocurrencies and when you see a trend don't underestimate those trend as it happen in the bearish market last year we should expect the bullish trend this year too.

The market is really moving forward and from the longest bear market to this valuation in a matter of a month is highly surprising to anyone, no one expected the market to rally like this in a short period, i expected the market to trade around $6 K for a long time, but it is moving forward strongly breaking all the resistance and showing no signs of stopping but $10 K will be a major obstacle to cross, i am not predicting anything but i expect a small break in this rally in the near future.

I find it likely we'll break $9k, though I'm less confident that the momentum we have now is going to carry us to $10k this week. Seems like there's resistance immediately overhead near $9k that we haven't quite cracked yet, and $10k is likely going to be a psychological resistance point that's may also be difficult to break. Alternatively we could always just go sideways here for a bit or a small correction could happen, though I am still remaining bullish for the short to mid term.

I wouldn't mind a bit sideways as well Love a fat dildo more, but i'm always conservative with BTC and just follow the narrative it writes for us....
Of-course with the market as today i'm leaning much more bullish as bearish of-course ........

But dude serious?? Bullish for the short to mid term? What about THA long term, i'm über bullish for the LONGterm!

I understand 10K is a psychological resistance point, but last time 10 was also passed like it was nothing :D

The market will not react like it used to be in the past, FOMO will be there all the time and the market is not bothering anything right now, when Binance got hacked it thought that the momentum will be gone and the market will go down, i had that feeling simply because of past experience as we have seen many times how the market reacts to a major hacking news, but it just did not bother that huge hack and the market kept on increasing, but crossing $10k will be a physiological hurdle and if it crosses then we will cross the all time high valuation by the end of this year.

I am waiting for a correction to be done normally. Such big jump in the price is just wonderful! I just prefer to see a correction above $10k and essentially a long consolidation above this number so we can take the road again to ATH and beyond  ;)

I am bullish for Bitcoin.  I think people feeling of FOMO will starting to pile up.  It is possible that Bitcoin will hit 10k this week.  Bitcoin came from a sideway of $8k this rally will possibly record a new higher high and that higher high maybe that $10k
The price stops to pump again, but there's still time to hit $10k this week though the chance is small now. I’m also bullish with bitcoin, if its not this week then we still have more time on the month of June so no reason to worry. Bitcoin is the top coins and it will always deliver a good prices, the bullish trend will not end this year so expect the price to explode again.

Predict bitcoin price in short time maybe a little hard because it is keep stable and if we want to predict, it is better to predict in future. So we can set our timeline and decide in what price or maybe what time we want to sell our coins.

right, besides that there is the potential to see prices above $ 10k this week. however, the limit is this week, and after that it will be the beginning of June. but, the potential to have a price of $ 10k in the middle of this year is really big. even I feel that the potential for passing ATH is also very large.

Thats a flag pattern above what was previous resistance around 8000.   So its still looking bullish.    I dont know what it will do next but all I can do is judge it by the quality of price action that takes place.

Some profit taking is natural but if it pulls back and stays above 8100 area then I believe higher prices are then more likely.    In the same way as its previously pulled back but not substantially fallen, its been a bullish regular pattern for months now

I don't know if it will happen this week but looking at the prices and the bull run we have been going this week it is clear that we are moving above 10 thousand dollars pretty soon. I am not sure how soon or how late but it will happen.

Bull run is going nowhere, it stayed at around 8 thousand dollars for a while and everyone started to talk about how the price is no longer going up and the bull run is over and what not but look at what happened, it almost broke 9 thousand dollars and now quite strongly more than what it was couple days ago. That is why I think no matter what the doubters say in the end bitcoin is going over 10 thousand dollars for sure, it may be in couple days, it may be in couple weeks but it will certainly happen no matter who says what.

We broke through the $6000 mark effortlessly not long ago, and that while this level should act as massive resistance due to the massive support it offered to Bitcoin last year. If we're due for $10k, we'll reach it without any problems.

It's going to be interesting to see how much room there is left to go up once we have broken through the psychological $10k mark. One would assume that the block halving at $10k is already priced in for the most part.

If we do head up further, then it's purely the result of fomo similar to what we have seen back in 2017. The main difference is that there are more fiat on-ramps than ever before today, so the price might form a bubble again, but one that's much larger.

Bitcoin just jumped to 8,5k USD, with a new high compared to previous uprise, will this be the turn above 10k USD, seems to be easy for BTC this time

Bitcoin will definitely hit $10k but not within this week. Probably within the first week of June 2019 and it will remain there for a while before the price increases again. This is an indication that 2019 is indeed a bull run year.
I think its possible but its not yet its time to reach $10K , but maybe on June, because since this month is the beginning of bullish market. So wait for it just because its about to happen soon.

Thinking about what happen in June an unpredicatable trend to occur, and all I can say that we should stay calm because green market still is on its way to progress. We just say by speculations but rather rely on the actual market trend of bitcoin. The trend of that price can always jump randomly so expect more bigger surprises.

I don't doubt that bitcoin's value will hit $10k as the market phase has shown gradual pump. I keep determine and positive to create an accurate deliberation by dealing consequences. And bull trend will definitely occur by the right time, with our positivity and encouragement it barely appear soon.

The way the price went up it certainly looked easy, especially with how there wasn't much resistance on the way up. I actually expected the journey towards $6000 to be slow and for moon boys very painful, but it seems that the moonboys were more right than the conservative perma bulls like I consider myself to be.

The only certainty we have is that in Bitcoin there has always been a pullback, the only thing we don't know is when it starts and where it ends. We could just as easily pump over $10,000 and bottom out somewhere around the $6000 level, which would still be a massive pullback, and at the same time a massive increase from last year's lows.

I don't think you should overestimate the price movement that will go to $10k in the near future, don't think about it too deeply, any speculation can happen. You righ that bitcoin will definitely reach $10k again some time ahead, so you don't need to worry about that. let's just enjoy this ongoing uptrend, to get the maximum profit :)

The market of bitcoin seems to be stabilizing around the $8500 range, now once again it has crossed $8700. I believe we'll experience similar range of minor price fluctuations for a week and further it'll break the $9000 barrier which is the starting point for the next big growth reaching $10000 at the earliest. Even if it happens to reach before the weekend there is nothing wrong it is due to the increased investment taking place with bitcoin.

Probably not, $10k maybe easy to reach for btc since it's near but the movement isn't like the one you're expecting. I guess once we broke $9k barrier it will continue to $10k then back down again and will test the resistance in $9k. As of now, we are on $8k resistance and may take few days or weeks before it makes a move again.

What 8k resistance? We broke that days ago, are you talking about support? We haven't even come close to test the 8k level after we broke it, we tested 8.5k because the RSI on the hourly was oversold. 9k resistance is simply a psychological one, it's not a real resistance, we don't have many real resistances after this point since the last time the prices were at these levels was more than a year ago.

This is serious. Just checked now after seeing this thread. Price is now at $8,616 after trading at $7,9.. today. The volatility of bitcoin always shows when price going high. I think it might break even at 10,000 soon.
Three days have passed. Now the price of bitcoin, according to CoinMarketCap is 8,678 dollars. The rise is not very big, almost minimal. Therefore, in the coming weeks, Bitcoin will not be able to rise in price to $ 10,000. We see that this year it is not growing so fast and these are the consequences of the recent longest period of the bear market. Apparently, this growth rate will continue.

There is nothing to be surprised about this. We were expecting to hit $8,500 anyways. It is a little bit too early to say that we will jump to $10,000 USD within this weekend. Though reaching $9,000 within this week does seem to totally plausible. Let's just wait and see what happens. The recent price rise seems quite interesting. Who knows, we may even hit a new all time high this year :).

I am eager to see it climb over $15,000 as it picks up a whole bunch of noobs along the way. The I hope it passes the ATH once and drops back down to about $8000. Its so pleasant to see the noobs left holding the bags as they did at the end of 2017.

You're an idiot, very few noobs bought at $17k and mostly it was hodlers without realized gains that got left holding the bag.

Making it different in the last week, will possibly be making another big jump in the next couple of days. Not we are actually thinking of reaching easily into $10k but it is pretty much that we are leading into the way early this 2nd semester. And we can't imagine how it ended this year if this pumps will continue until December? It may be another $20k..lol

I doubt that also, all I am waiting for this week is a little bit of correction from this last big pump, following the way bitcoin has been gaining its value, there has always been correction prior to another bigger increase from the previous one. I am seeing bitcoin get corrected to $8200 and stabilize on that for a while and maybe for the next 2 weeks before having further momentum to continue surging.

I don’t know if whales are the ones playing it this way, but it seems this has been the pattern for the past 1 month now that bitcoin left the bear market. So I might just have to wait for the correction to buy more of the coin.

It looks like you are may be wrong in this case. because we have not yet seen the correction that happens to the bitcoin after the latest surge that makes bitcoin worth more than $8700. A little correction will be happening and that's a rule to make bitcoin discover its real value but this time people are focusing to put their money into the altcoin as what already reflected from big gainers and losers on CMC.

Definitely bitcoin hit more, but not in this week, you are too hurry about bitcoin price, bitcoin come in $8739 after a year, and within week bitcoin come at $10000, so it is impossible. But it is possible that in this year bitcoin will be come at $10000 or may be more.

The question is do we really need that much speed with us. We are moving forward and that is a great thing but I honestly do not prefer it this way. We can go up quickly but that would only make things more complicated in the future, as soon as prices go up the fee's go up as well and there are a lot more money on hot wallets of exchanges which is terrible for security and all that which makes it difficult to stay that high.

However, if we can just slow this down and instead of going up 10% in a day why don't we just go up like 50 bucks a day on average for a month, that is like 1500 dollar increase which we had even more in the recent months so its not unexpected of bitcoin to rise 1500 in a month. If we gonna hit 10 thousand dollars instead of staying around the same price for 29 days and increasing in 1 day only shouldn't be the method.

I'm agree with you. Fast speed of growing will not be good for bitcoin, holders will just go crazy.
Better would be if price climb slowly but straight up. Just like it was in 2017 year.

At this point I only see individual goals setting in plan by these people, they don't really care about what will happen next to BTC as long as they hit the target price which in this case is 10,000$. That is why they always want to see BTC moving up they and they aren't concerned about the damage it will do as soon as it repeats its movement last December 2017. We might be all happy seeing Bitcoin back up above 8,500$ now but it would only take one dump from the whales to bring us back down.

Can't believe it happened after all, as it seems everyone wants to see bitcoin price 10k or higher and when we were so close to that aim, from 8.7k to 9k, which to my mind would automatically lead to further rise, instead of it, price felt and now it is 8,3k. Today's lowest price was 8k, that's very sad but still we don't know clearly what will happen, whether bitcoin will reach 10k or not is 50/50.
