Let me have your thoughts so we know if it's recommended for those Newbies in the market to pick in now or stay off the market?

I predict that Bitcoin will trade higher than today but probably not higher than its ATH this year (2019).  I also expect it to bounce around lower than today's price.

Well base on the pattern and graph bitcoin is showing right now it looks like it is following the path that last bull run took if this will continue bitcoin can easily cross last years ATH and set a new ATH for bitcoins price all of this years.Plus the halving news circulating now which wil occur in 2020 I think bitcoin can beat last years ATH maybe $30k minimum or more this year

It is hard to predict the price of Bitcoin because of its volatility. Found this simple and pretty realistic calculation in another forum about Bitcoin price , which stated that if you 2.5% increase per week from now to October then a 5% weekly from November/01 to December/31 the price of Bitcoin by end of this year will be $22288.

I think the chances are there that this year's price might beat the last ATH. My simple reason is that bitcoin and cryptocurrency awareness has really increased. Unlike last two years, I have heard people including youths talking about bitcoin investment. Even though they don't know about cryptocurrency or how it works but they sure talk about bitcoin.

It is a very good time to invest now specially if they are going for a long term investment.
This might be the lowest price if what we are expecting turns to be true,
Most of us are expecting the price to rise upto $10K this year and next year we would have halving so it could make the price reach a new ATH (hoping) so this could be the last time that we would see it low.

It's absolutely difficult to predict about bitcoin, because bitcoin is a vulnerable digital cryptocurrency! but if we want to do prediction by last 1 month and some of days then it's definitely confirm bitcoin can will break past 2017 fiat price! now bitcoin continuously move it's price forward, we can hope bitcoin will break all past fiat value records within 2020!

My prediction for this year is that bitcoin will reach more than $ 10,000, and I see it is very real and today bitcojn is priced at $ 8,720

I really don't know what to say anymore. Price is changing so rapidly lately. I think it might get to $10K and it probably will. But this is something weird, I'm still expecting major price correction.

newbies or newcomers shouldn't enter bitcoin just because they think it can give them a ton of profit (aka more fiat) that means they haven't understood the first thing about bitcoin! and that is even worse because bitcoin is not some get rich quick scheme that can make you a millionaire overnight.
they should instead study more and see what bitcoin really is. read the bitcoin paper and see the idea of decentralized currency and if they liked that then they should dump their fiat for bitcoin.

I predict the price this year will be higher than is now and i think 15k $ is possible until the of the year if a bull ruj not happen like on 2017, because if will happen then we will have probably a new ATH.

I was expecting above 6000$ by the end of this year now its already way up then I expected , bullish moves are not exhausting its braking  its high again and again i got what i expected

The current prediction was change at time so many peoples are never predict the end of the year results. But surely it will move to positive side at the same time it will change also possible at anytime, so we must wait and see the end of the week of this year then only it will move to possible.

Probably 5K USD at the end of the year,I guess.There will be a price correction somewhere during the summer and some bear run will occur around the end of the year,but after the 2020 halving,the bull run might return.

It is not okay to go to Innovate at the start of the market. Because the newbie  thinks. It can be a millionaire overnight from this market. But the reality speaks completely different. I think last year it will be in a better position Bitcoin.

Come on, everyone here doesn't know whether to beat the price the year before, everyone here just speculates that bitcoin will break past last year.
Yes, in my opinion it can be seen from the graph and good news that appears, moreover bitcoin is getting closer and closer to bitcoin halving in May 2020.
So if you are a newbie, it's better to enter the market now, because in the next 6 months, according to my analysis, bitcoin will go to the moon.

The highest value bitcoin can attain by the end of this year would be $15k. i don't really believe in the analysis that are coming out and making huge predictions like over $30k. That's quite exaggerative. $15k that is my bet let's watch and see commrades.

It's hard to predict the price for bitcoins this year, although we are seeing bitcoin tends to rise sharply in the past few days. But it is still too early to say that it could surpass last year's $ 20k price. The important thing we need to do now is to see the next bitcoin move. If bitcoin continues to break the $ 10k , only god knows what will happen next.

$15k is more possible now. You can notice the market these days that it has really changed a lot and most of the coin that actually moon up to 300% since the time of bulls, its the altcoins that rising. Every time BTC dips, altcoins keeps rising. Its more like they manipulate altcoins price at the risk of BTC price. This time its different, its the rise of altcoins.

I am sure the bitcoin price can hit that price even in the future because bitcoin is stronger than we know and the price will increase slowly and in the end, will make the highest price.
We could hope that if bitcoin price increase, the altcoin will following to increase because after bitcoin price makes a correction, that will be a good time for an altcoin to raise the price.
I see that the altcoin market was rising although it's not too fast, I think it's enough for us to see the altcoin has a good movement too like bitcoin price.

With the way things are going (like a good deal of positive news especially on adoption of bitcoin by some famous merchants and the overall rosy market sentiment enveloping the whole industry right now), I would not be surprised if at the end of the year we can be nearing $15,000. I can be daring to say that it can go beyond $20,000 but maybe that can be too much. This is assuming that no big negative development can derail the bitcoin train.

It's going to uptrend this year but it will difficult to reach $ 15.000
But it gradually will reach for some time so all you can do is buy some bits and hold.

My prediction is always changing but I'm guessing somewhere between 15-20k considering we aren't far from 10k already and we have a lot of time left in the year.  The blcok reward is being halved kinda soon also so that will definitely influence the price to rise.

This is the hardest thing to predict btc or any crypto price. Bitcoin is volatile and it reacts differently. Sometimes price moves significantly with tiny news. Sometimes price moves a little but the news was important. We are in bull market. Some pending ETF, Bakkt news, almost all major companies are trying to get involved into crypto in many ways. I think we may see ATH in 2019 or 2020, not any financial advice

Well i believe bitcoin could reach $10k next month and i do think there will be a spike of volume of bitcoin when bakkt launched. I do believe bitcoin will reach a new high and also we might see market keep growing up and more stable cause i think this year so many adoption happening and it means a lot for bitcoin.

If a person who is not following the market wants to enter and make a quick profit, then you should not invest in it, you might end up loosing your money rather than earning the profit, you cannot judge others opinion when you are investing your money, so you have to be careful in what you invest, the price of bitcoin is gathered momentum, but that does not mean that the price will rally at the end of this year, anything can happen in this market. If you had the chance to enter at a lower valuation, it is well and good.

so rapid changes occur in the price of bitcoin. Bitcoin prices have experienced a significant increase. some people say this is like a dream because previously it was never predicted that price movements would be very positive like this. In my idea my bitcoin price prediction this year can reach up to $9k. Because as we experience now that the price is increasing so it has a big possibility that the price is high until the year end.

indeed the price of bitcoin is not easy to predict, but seeing a few months is nearing the end of the year and will welcome 2020 I hope to break the 10 to 15k mark. :)

If you look at the current market price it is closing towards $9K  :D we have more than seven months for the end of this year and if the price is almost touching $9K at this time we need to have a big correction in the middle to keep the price below $10K by the end of this year, with the price showing this much strength earlier this year i am expecting a price well over $10K , having said that you cannot expect anything in this market and nothing can be predicted here, the final rally after the halving depends upon the price we will have at the end of this year.

Nobody knows for sure, but I think this year bitcoin still can't beat 2017, but if around 10k bitcoin can reach this year.

My target was $6000 and the price has gone well beyond that, so I am satisfied. In the short term I have no new targets, no further expectations, I'll just watch the price do whatever it's going to do.

At this point it's only worthwhile to be excited if the price goes to the $100,000 level, because let's be honest, what's so special about doing a 100% increase from where we are today? When the price was $100 we were talking about $1000. When the price was $1000 we were talking about $10,000. Currently we're close to $10,000 and $100,000 is the next target.

I'd be happy with BTC at or above $20,000 by the end of this year, but I expect the FOMO will be such that we will far surpass it. I think we can hit $50,000 by the end of the year, as enthusiasm over the upcoming halving continues to grow.

If it can surpass the $10,000 mark then the sky is the limit. :)
The news media outlets will have a headline to start the market frenzy and everyone will see it and hear about it and the fomo will begin again.
People will start buying it up and then it will reach the all time high and might even surpass it as well.
Only if it can achieve this milestone then can see it reach $25,000 and then everything will be all right in the cryptoworld once more. ;D

My prediction is maybe it can increased more. If want to buy not use all capital so we still can buy again if price get dropped.  I think that is safe thing to do. Or at least what will i do in condition price like this.

  It difinitely grow beyond we desire, as the people around crypto world  are positive and determine by engaging accurate vision in future. Thus, market volatilization does exist, still I believe that bitcoin has a capacity to grow immensely as it has shown potential and promising among all coins. And it probably hit $25k before this year end.

it will be easy for bitcoin to reach at 20K USD at the end of the year but I am guessing that it will be more than that knowing that bitcoin market price could be easily pump up especially there are whales out there that still wishes to invest more in bitcoin. The late days of the year 2019 will probably spectacular knowing that bitcoin has started to show some signs especially in the bull run matter. I have come to speculate that bitcoin will going to reah 30K USD at the end of the year 2019.

However, it could still be more than 30K and probably the highest possible market price for bitcoin will be 50K USD. This I think will be the possible at 50% chance of rate to happen.

For this year we are imo also already further then I would have guessed, but indeed when we hit 10K again... it will not be about ATH no more, but it will be about the beyond of that...

Probably, it is possible. If Bitcoin continues the growth and nothing bad happens with the cryptocurrencies, exchanges, and the market, BTC will reach 15 thousand. Nevertheless, it will take several months.

I sure hope so but even if we will end the year with that price it would be something to celebrate.

I personally hope that the price of Bitcoin this year can reach $ 10000, because if that happens the price is already very good, because I think as usual there are still those who will throw Bitcoin before the price of Bitcoin rises high

We need a good strategy first to confirm that, definitely Bitcoin is not that simple to predict but this year I believe it will moon like that of last year but my own worries is will it get to the hit of last year.

I am lucky to withdraw and deposit at just the right times. I have believed that bitcoin will go up since November, it didn't went up right away but I knew that when Craig sold a lot of coins and dropped the value of bitcoin it was temporary. People still believed the price was above 6 thousand dollars easily but the people who believed that didn't have enough money to invest and increase the price that much, there was a lot of rich people selling and creating a pressure to not increase the price.

We all worked towards getting more and more bitcoins and in the end whales stopped and the moment they stopped we went up. I believe this will continue until whales say they have enough and they start selling again. It could be another 20 thousand dollar rally easily.

I believe 15k can be achieved this year and that it will soon become possible by looking at the fairly good bitcoin movement, and holding will be a source of profit.

 Just be positive mate, what we are witnessing on the current market is accurately speculated by people with optimist and determine for its bountiful growth. So we have to desist our behavior from being pessimist, instead of spreading its accurate news that may brought a good vision and open knowledge to peruse its fundamentals.

This year's bitcoin price, I would rather say it's a very unpredictable matter with respect to the developing stage for its price. As we all knew the current situation might have surprised everybody for the last few days, seeing positive trend had commenced. The stabilized price at $8k and beyond made people be back on track, so I must expect price to reach at $10k by the end of June this year. I can't preferably say for definite value of btc until December, but I do hope nearly $20k can be achieve soon once demand and price corrections will be overcome.

Nobody can predict the correct price for bitcoin but at least if the predictions can make positive impact for bitcoin users themself then nothing wrong with it and although price of movement not showing rapid increase such as on 2017 but i think uptrend will dominate this year but i highly doubt bitcoin will reach to $20000 again in this year however my predictions bitcoin at least will rise up to $15000 before end of year

Just like a guess that has some valid points on why it's going to be on that price. Like the comment that I did on the other thread, most are eyeing for this year with $10k-$15k.

We are here to speculate and not the actual. No one is actually sure if the market will performed as predicted and because of that you should do personal research before investing because whatever you see here are not actual.
Traders know that this market is highly unpredictable and because of this we individually depend on the strategy each has  developed to make investments' decisions.

No one knows for sure the price of Bitcoin for 2019, which is clear for now the position of the price of Bitcoin is $ 8266, this is a good sign compared to 2018.
But for this, everyone hopes that the Bitcoin price for this year can be close to $ 20,000. everyone's hope.

Maybe yes or maybe not. Definitely, we can't be sure for the incoming and only we have to do is to keep positive and keep believing. Even we have that TA's but still can't be exact of what will happen.

It's hard to hit the actual price if you're going to guess it.

And that's why everyone is predicting it, having a conclusion that it can reach or not that certain price that the predictor has given.

Basing it from what we have experienced in the past you cannot really pin point a price on Bitcoin or for majority of the cryptocurrencies out their as in order for us to do that we need to first identify its fair value which BTC doesn't have one.  We can only know its price when we are there at the end and determine if it will go up or down through technical analysis which is the most accurate way on forecasting its next movement but not the exact price. You don't really need to set a high expectation on where you will sell as like I said we can't guess the exact future price right.

Right, i think in here we can use all people's speculation as reference. So we can do our analysis and maybe make our speculation. Then about where market will go, we can see and wait for it.

My opinion is that the price is going to be higher that last year's on the end of the year.
But I am not so optimistic like other people who believe that we are going to hit 10k till the end of June. I keep my basket small so that I will be happy with any profit that comes to my wallet.

How many times in the last 2 months have you seen many price forecasts made by analysts? the answer is: few times. and you know why these analysts are always trying to avoid making exaggerated price forecasts? because they do not know because the price is increasing a lot and this causes that many people are afraid of the price to fall much at any moment.

If people intend to make long-term investments then it will not be a problem to buy now

if the person has knowledge of trade then can buy now and make trade. But if the person expects to make a loan to make a quick profit to repay the loan? so the person is in the wrong place

this year will be bored i think, the price will stay between $7000 - $ 8000, but if you can make profit from those range it is a big chance to start in a little oppprtunity. as long as we have no breakthrough in this year, market will always stagnant, unless we find very good news or whale investors jumping in bitcoin that will impact the rise of bitcoin price. talking about mooning, based on my analys we can make it at least in the end of 2019 or the beginning of 2020.
