Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't all merits awarded before OgNasty address info was released by Vod?

As far as I remember Vod's thread was for unpaid taxes, investigation being held outside of bitcointalk and stuff like that, a single post and a locked thread.

Merits were given within 24hrs and address info was put there at least 2-3 days later, correct?

My point is, when these four people merited Vod's thread, there was no DOX at hand.

Today is a day I have nothing to do , so I will just create another useless THREAD to annoy MEMBERS of bitcointalk...

Can this be verified in anyway? I have been under the impression this entire time that the merits were given to the post while the address was listed, and in fact not until the address was listed.
This would seem to be an important contingency, especially considering that this thread and the dozens like it are riding on the fact that multiple users were encouraging a "DOX" through merit (especially sources).

I feel like doing a witch-hunt for the people that merited the post, unless you can prove that they did not merit until the address was posted, is a waste of efforts. Even if you can prove that, it would be a waste of efforts. I don't understand why we continually beat dead-horses in this community.

theymos has made note of these users, what can you do through posting about it that theymos is unable to accomplish?

My position on the issue has remained consistent, Vod should have negative DT trust (and probably a few more exclusions) for releasing a DOX (especially, of a forum treasurer). Apparently, DTs aren't going to leave negative feedback for DOXing - they have other priorities ;)

It was actually the other way around - full dox were posted first, then most if not all personal info was removed a few hours later....

merit was given while dox was on the post, this is why I sat on it for awhile and decided to red tag later. If merit were given after the dox was edited, I would have taken that as a meriter "compliment" to Vod for doing the correct thing.. unfortunately that was not the case.

Thread was started on May 8th, merits were given the same day but a few hours later. Your tags came 3 days later (May 11th), I presume you didn't wait that long, right? When was the DOX posted, May 8th or after that?

It was me I send 1 merit to that post too quickly and I did too fast and I read poorly (my language is not English and I missread it), after a few minutes I wanted to removed the 1 merit but I couldn't did it.

I have seen coinlocket$ make some conclusions about spammers being the same person that I disagree with (or at least, I disagree with the logic he uses), but I do think he has good intentions in using the logic he uses.

I cannot think of a dispute in which coinlocket$ was supporting one side in what I believe to be bad faith. If you have a specific example of him acting in bad faith, feel free to present it.
