Title: How can we incentivize the spread of IoT?

How can we incentivize the spread of IoT?
I feel like it's a critical technology if blockchain ever wants to be truly anchored into the real world.
Are VR & AR games the best way?

We've already got cell phones & cars, but that's not enough.
What other kinds of devices can we even have out there?
Upgrading things street lights, sure. CCTV cameras, yikes. But what else?

maybe we don't need it everywhere, but it will be good to have IoT dense areas somewhere.

We already live in interconnected world but with the coming of Internet of Things we realized that we need to extend this connectivity to many things we are using everyday and even extend to animals and we the people. Per definition, "The internet of things (https://internetofthingsagenda.techtarget.com/definition/Internet-of-Things-IoT), or IoT, is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers ( UIDs ) and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction."

Coupled with the rise of Artificial Intelligence, IoT is adding a new vista to explore and more excitement to our modern world. I am imagining a house where all the appliances, devices and even parts are all connected to each other as if an organism that one can program and command. Isn't that super amazing with so many potentialities?

Okay. but how can we get more devices out there? There aren't enough
