Title: Bit Blender help
Post by: jstquest on May 28, 2019, 11:50:31 PM
I did a quick mix- my Mixer ID is 95175301a1b52a5, it has 8 confirmations on the block explorer last time I looked but bit blender dosent acknowledge the funds coming in, when I know they should have. I did a quick mix last night and never received the coin either, but don’t have mixer ID sadly. Is there any way I can get my coin back for the first one?

They had this announcement that they are closing the business.

Bitcoin Blender is shutting down. Please withdraw.

I advise you to contact with their support system, not sure if they have one. or PM the user blender.

There was a thread regarding Bit Blender shutting down: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5147982.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5147982.0), that would have been the reason why you did not receive your coin. You should try to reach out to their support. I wish you luck, but I doubt if they can assist you with it.

This is the second mixing service to close their doors in the past week. Hope you didnt transfer too many coins and sorry for your loss.
The other one was bestmixer.io but yes bit blender was noticed and even had people who were in their campaign advertising their site since yesterday.
So it just all the sudden happened without notice.

I just opened Bitblender website, and there is no any information about closing business. This can be very problematic and they need to turn down his website. Here are many people who are using his service, but he did not come in the forum every day and stay on top information.

Ive read this thread here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5147982.0) thats why I said that bitblender will eventually shut down this maybe true because of this thread from OP which in he didnt receive his bitcoin maybe because of the unexpected shut down of the service

You don't see any message about Bitblender shutting down on their page because they don't mix coins on the regular site.

If you follow the instructions and used the tor link you'll see the exact message which bitblender also posted on their ann thread linked by astville above.

Looks like hidden important information. They are out of business, here no need to keep his website live. Only information about shutting down and support info for all unfinished transaction. Everything else can be considered misguidance that this service is online.

there any way I can get my coin back for the first one?

Try contacting this account Blender (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=229601)

Then let them know about your issue.

It seems that this is your last time that you can contact them (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5149185.0)

So don't waste your time start contacting them before it's late because they will wipe them all.

Don't know how come OP made a mistake by depositing his money, the announcement was 1 day before his transaction, so he does not have any knowledge. I think for bitblender to be fair, they should make it visible in their website as not every users are aware of the forum.

Because maybe the actual website itself did not post the announcement and maybe because not everyone visits this forum or even realises that most bitcoin services have an official thread here? As you yourself acknowledge. In all fairness I happen to know very few people apparently into bitcoin who have an account here, let alone use it actively.

Even the campaign thread hasn't been updated (still says cfnp), nor the ann thread, with a fee people also facing support issues. Hopefully they make it clear and just take down the website cause after 5 years, of course people are still going to assume it's operational without notifications on site.
