I tried the standard "BBCode (Forums)" share link from imgur like I have used the last 5+ years and that no longer works.... Can someone help a noob out with posting pics now? Why on earth is imgur being blocked via proxy now?

Never seen 2 bids at the exact time...

3 options here:

1: Split the coins up 50/50 for half the bid (probably not wanted)
2: Add an additional 24 hours for bidding
3: Ask Theymos who posted first and go with that person

I will let both Ramelius and ZipReg voice their opinions and we go from there.

edit: also open to other options... I did send Theymos a message to see who posted first or if they truly were at the exact same time etc....

I am good with whatever makes both parties happy. I guess from now on I will use the extend auction by 15 mins after last bid etc... Personally I never liked that, but it is what it is.

Hey guys I didn't think it was a question of who won because the posts are timestamped in order as received, I just thought it was a pretty cool and rare occurrence to have two people bid at same amount and time and show the same exact post time.

When you refresh the thread our posts are not alternating randomly or something, so it is definitive, the forum is listing the posts in the order in which they were received.

Not trying to be a dick but really not interested in splitting as it is a full set, you know? :)

Welcome others thoughts on this and setting the precedence for future auctions that may have identical bids also.

The way I was looking at it was that my bid showed up first, thus negating his identical bid, but no hard feelings either way it goes hey. ;D

Correct, the one listed first was processed first by the forum (and therefore has a lower message ID).

I mean, you can't rule out that the second one was actually sent first but the thread it was assigned just happened to get scheduler-suspended for long enough that a later one was handled first, or something like that. And according to general relativity, simultaneity isn't universal anyway. ;)
