You shouldn't use ico rating websites to judge the quality of a project, they're unreliable, it's better to do your own research instead of looking into these websites, who knows if the project paid the website to give out high ratings.

Ratings are paid. The team will always find a way to market their project and getting it listed on ICO rating sites are part of it.  They paid for its listing that is why the people in the ICO rating sites will also give it a high rate. Some of those projects with high rates by the way didn't get much funds too. There were thread about these too, let me just find them.

Well I can't vouch for any ICOrating site we have in existence since they are all being updated by humans, and most humans love money, besides they created the site so that they could make some cash for themselves. What they do is that they message this project telling them to pay some amount of money so that they could list them in a rating site and the amount of money they pay will determine the rating they get, though I might be very wrong about this, but I believe that's the way it's been done.

ICO rating does not guarantee the project will succeed, what can be counted on is when investors believe in the project and the ranking will be top.

don't believe in ICO rating because most of them are just manipulations, they pay to get a high rating, maybe only a few ICOs really really get high rating

I believe that there are often no such services when listing a project from the beginning should be checked by experts, but you should understand that they are people too and can make mistakes and of course their mistake can deprive you of your investments, therefore I strongly recommend studying projects yourself and after that decide on investing.

They also provides reasons for giving it that score and you can analyze their data to decide on your own about what works for you. A rating 3 can be good than a rating 5.
They do verify the identity of the team members which helps you to start with. The milestone tab lets you know how long they are been working and what have they already achieved. You can look and compare many project.

I don't believe fully in the icobench, I only see a list of projects in the icobench, then I do my own analysis and observe whether the project is feasible to follow or not. so don't expect too much in the icobench ratings.

Oh better don't trust ICO rating sites , there is plenty of proof that IcoBench ratings was quite high as project turned out to be a scam . I think most of the ICO rating sites got paid for sponsoring and rating projects on top :) There is even so called ''experts'' failed quite alot of times . How do they even check if KYC documents are real ? I think before listing project on ICOBench they should make a video call and arrange some interview so ICOBench visitors atleast see faces behind the project

Now a days most of the ico ratings is paid. Project owners pay the admin for high ratings. So we should not trust these site blindly. It is better to investigate a project by own self that makes more confidence I think.

I would not say they are reliable 5% of the time. 95% would be impossible. Knowing that you can pay ICObench for your project to get a good rating on their website tells you everything you want to know. How can you trust their rating if it can be rigged like that? So, no, you can't trust their rating at all. Fine projects can have smaller ratings and fake projects large ratings. Do your own research to increase the probability of choosing a good project to invest in.

Thought so, I just asked this because I wanted to make sure. I've joined a lot of projects that are highly rated in websites like icobench and some of them didn't really perform well and until now they are making nothing. Though I'm not believing that all of them are actually paid because there is still a possibility that they went wrong on something.

A lot of projects are simply invited to their advisors the “experts” from ICOBENCH and they give them high raitings. I do not believe any ratings

Maybe you should not only see the quality of the project with the ICO bench, because that does not guarantee the project is successful. But doing further research on the background and also the team behind the project. Do not do research in a simple way, but must be thorough and detailed. Goodluck!

simple, if you believe with ICObench, just follow the rating on ICObench buddy without doing your own research  ;)
but always remember to invest with your own risk buddy

Maximum ratings shown by ICObench are fake and this ratings are given by paid members or by promoters. Sometimes we can see high ratings campaign but don't get too much funds. So ratings isn't fact rather team, roadmap, and real prospects are always vital for the success of a project.

I don't put my mind on the ico bench ratting although I do check and go through the comments of the so called professionals to get some insight about the projects. Many of this rating does not guarantee the success or failure of a project

Not only in ICO bench but I guess almost all of these rating sites are not very reliable since most of them are paid services and maybe had secret deals with most projects trying to have a higher ICO rating in order to influence would be investors. I guess we must all be vigilant about this!

I don't know because I don't use the ICO bench to know the rating for each project. But that could be true and reliable since we don't know how they determine the good project and I am curious with the number they add for each project. If you want to know by yourself, you need to search more information about the projects, talk with the developer and the team so you will get more details on the project which will useful for yourself, and you can decide to invest or not.

Those who rates ICOs are paid for a greater reputation please as possible do your own research on finding a good ICO to invest with. Some ICOs that are rated high years ago are somewhat abandoned or some have still no progress.

Before I used to look at ratings when choosing on what projects I want to promote. And ICOBench was one of them and I stop when I found out that some projects pay the reviewers just to have a good ratings. And I saw some ICOBench members being an advisors in some projects and most of them become a failed projects or turned to be a scam.

I didn’t really trust this analytical site before, and now all the more. All ratings are bought for money, all experts do not represent anything important. So this service has long been sent to ignore.

When you do make some investment, dont ever tend to rely 100% with these ICO rating sites yet most of them aren't really that
transparent at all, yet there have been issues about paying up for a review which means these reviews are bias and does only
for the money.Even how shit they are they would still get that shitty good review with these sites.

Do not be too confident with rating, because the rating does not guarantee, the coin you mean is good, because there are also many coins that have a high rating but eventually scam

i think no.. some ICO sites are being paid just to rate new ICO's.. this should be check, as mostly investors are checking the ratings of every project and assure that  the project is good to invest..

I only support ratings for the projects that I follow, I never refer to a website rating in determining which projects I follow.
sometimes they can be manipulated to get a good rating and get investor trust.

Title: Re: Ratings.
Post by: jossiel on May 31, 2019, 10:02:25 PM
Nope, don't ever trust ratings there because most of the ratings there now are sponsored or in short, they're all paid. Are you still investing in ICOs? if that is so you don't rely with such ICO ratings site because you will never hear an honest review anymore.

It's all about on how they market the project these days and expect that if there's ever be an honest one, it's hard to figure out.

Actually, ICOBench is very popular rating sites for ICOs. So far, many ICOs uses the rating in ICObench to prove that they are legit enough. But in fact, not all of them are legit and proven. Some of them may be able to buy or pay for the good rating (who knows). And probably not 95% true, I think it is no more than 75%. Just never put your trust only based on rating, do your own search and analysis.

Title: Re: Ratings.
Post by: akitha on June 14, 2019, 06:58:33 PM
no not at all.. if you look carefully those ratings are only paid just to boost their ICO popularity.. those project mostly are scam or just want to attract investors and after that nothing will happen on their project.. they want only money
