Title: Bitblender ONLINE for few hrs, withdraw all!!
Post by: john11bitcoin on May 29, 2019, 04:59:02 PM
Hello all,

I recently came to know about the shutting down process of bitblender, I had much coins saved onto it. I unfortunately missed the withdrawal warning as I was away for past few weeks. I tried to access http://bitblendervrfkzr.onion/ today and I could not.

Anyone can help me get in touch with the owners/admin of them so that I can request a withdrawal, I can prove my account ownership with the help of PGP signature of addresses, username/password, etc.

Please, I request all of you here. It was all my savings. I thought they are legit :(

Edit: Can anyone tag or refer admin of bitblender (username: blender , profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=229601 ) here? I can not message him because of my newbie status. I see they gave few time to withdraw which I missed, that means they do have good intentions to close this service peacefully.

Edit#2: bitblender is now online for few hours. Everyone with coins inside withdraw NOW!!

thanks!

Erm.. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but Bitblender just shutdown:
Bitcoin Blender is shutting down. Please withdraw.

Here's a discussion topic concerning bitblender's shutdown: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5147982.0

Anyway, best of luck with the recovery of your funds.

Have you already tried withdrawing via their website? Based on what I've read they haven't like 100% shut down yet; or at least people could still withdraw. As said by 1miau. I'm not sure though.

Yes, looks like people have still time to withdraw their funds, BitBlender isn't seized like BestMixer, BitBlender has most likely decided to stop their operations based on their own decision.

I can not access their website, this one : http://bitblendervrfkzr.onion/
I do not know if they have any more mirrors, if they do. Please post here?
Or anyone else can access the http://bitblendervrfkzr.onion/ please let us know.

I can’t either.

AFAIK, there is no mirrors. BE CAREFUL with people giving you other “mirrors” link. It’s probably a scam to get your credentials and possibly steal your coins if the website comes back later.

I don’t think they would give people only 1 day to withdrawal. So I’ll assume it’s a technical issue and they will come back (for some days) to let people get their coins (or at least I hope so).

I’ll PM him in case he shows up here again.

Thanks for PM'ing him TryNinja. I really appreciate this. I really hope he logs back to resolve this matter or give more time to withdraws. I am keep trying their website and I will update here if I see it is UP.

That was all I could read out of the post of BitBlender and the comments made by other users.

I have only the same infomation as everyone here and it's sad to see the official account of BitBlender so inactive when it's needed the most.  :-\
They advertised for very long here and the only thing they are posting is a one-liner containing no date, at least a vague detail like 1 week / 2 weeks etc. would be nice.

I think Hhampuz has some connections to owner of bitblender since he was managing canpaign for them and also last post of bitblender's owner includes thanks to Hhampuz.
If they are really closed and this isn't just a technical problem, then I highly doubt you'll get money back. If they are gone, for security reasons they won't care much about users who weren't able to withdraw.

I already tried contacting Hhampuz on this, he said he can not help me in this. I do understand that getting unresponsive can be a part of security, but as we can see he offered withdrawals, which means he do have intention of closing this nicely.
I am just making a request here, hope he reads it and consider it.

Also, if any of the admin have his email (which he must have provided while registration), you guys can contact him for these undisclosed cases. As he was a vendor here, and he owe people coins and answers. I am sure not everyone was being able to get cleared in such short time.

Thanks for your reply!

Looks like the site is not accessible at this moment, giving one day to withdraw everything is not a fair deal for their customers, just wait for some time and hopefully they will be back online again, there is no other way to contact them other than the site and his profile over here.

It was one of the most reputable and the oldest mixer till they made the decision to shut down and i do not think that the owner will run with the user funds.

You can't blame him for that, you need to understand his stand and I hope the btc is not much. With that been said, you only have two options now if you're lucky.
1. Post what you wrote on OP page on their ANN rather than

Too bad to hear it. I can not access http://bitblendervrfkzr.onion/ over TOR, anyone else can?

2. Send their representative a PM since he was online yesterday maybe he will be soon.

Don't be so quick to judge others buddy because what's going in the tumbler industries is far more than you think and you should ask yourself what is it that is so huge to make a 5years successful company shut down just like that. Besides, people are been advise not to pick much of their btc on an exchange site or any site which the are not the holder of the wallet private keys.

Yes, I understand. Its just few hours the website is down and I did not come to point fingers or accuse someone. If I did, I apologize for it. I am just worrying a lot.
Secondly, yes. btc was much for me. I did mistakenly stored there for long time as I was their user for about 2~3 years now. And he put up a message on website to withdraw and I missed it. (its was just for a day)

I really hope I get lucky with this, and he stays legit (as he is till now by providing a flawless service for years).

I just posted on their ANN thread with the details I posted here. About sending him the PM, I can not send as he does not accept PM from newbies, can you do that favor for me? I'll be grateful

Thanks!

Judging by his moniker, john11bitcoin... oh yes I think it's 11btc.

Just humour - I hope it lightens his mood.

Little bit off topic, but I'd be very wary about using any blender at the moment, I really suspect that more will be closing down eventually.
It's because Europol has been cracking down on blenders lately and charging them with money laundering.

Bestmixer has been taken down and it would be naive to think that they aren't keeping an eye on the other ones.

It's only one mixer. And for all we know the place was founded by the police in the first place. That said if I had hot coins I'd probably try sorting them out now just in case. If I had ongoing hot coins I wouldn't bother being in BTC any more. The days of hotness with relative impunity are drawing to a close.

It could be true actually but that wouldn't lighten his mood when 11 BTC is lost  ;D

I wonder how it happened that he kept his coins in the mixer when you just suppose to mix there and get it out. Mixers doesn't have a long life span as we know it. Good luck to him though. Hope he can find the admin to provide the mirror.

Not trying to justify OP’s actions on this, but BitBlender is 5 years old. Far from a short life span. But yeah, you’re not supposed to hold any coins in mixers, exchanges or websites (mainly after the government takes one down) for longer than needed.

I’ve PM’ed BitBlender already. So unless the website comes back or there is any new informations, I don’t think there is a need to keep bumping this thread.

While we don't have verified information at hand, I also believe that the closing of the Bitblender operation has something to do with the seizure of Bestmixer...maybe they are afraid to suffer the same fate and be charged in court. I just feel pity with users who were not able to withdraw any coins they left in there just like the case here with john11bitcoin. I am hoping this can be resolved soon.

It was not 11 btc btw, I can not disclose the amount. but it was much for a person like me.

And for blender, I knew you were legit, I had a feeling about it. Thanks alot to you too for giving a chance to withdraw!!

EVERYONE ELSE, do NOT ever store any coins on blenders/mixers, large volume atleast. Its not their fault that they have to close the mixer on urgent basis, its just the nature of this business. I learnt my lesson. I hope you all do not have to go through it!!

I’m glad you got your coins. I’m sure that you will never forget to keep your coins somewhere where you always have access to it :D. Exchanges and mixers are send, trade/mix and withdrawal immediately. You never know what will happen with them.

Cheers!

That’s mine: 1NinjabXd5znM5zgTcmxDVzH4w3nbaY16L

I believe this is the forum’s donation address: 17RTTUAiiPqUTKtEggJPec8RxLMi2n9EZ9 (from https://bitcointalk.org/donate.html) (although the forum doesn’t need much more money)

I’ll see who is this other user and PM him.

How can we sure if what you said was actually truth when there's no genuine proof to back such claim up and the last time I checked Adolfinwolf (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5125389.msg51173425#msg51173425) just thought that was what happened cause he did have any proof either.

I'm lying next to the head of Europol right now. I'll wake him up and ask.

Law enforcement in the past have taken over and run dark net websites for periods of time. Why wouldn't they do the same for a mixer? They clearly think they are hives of infamy.

There isn’t really anyone. The manager of their campaign only communicated with them through the forum, and they never disclosed any email, jabber, telegram, etc... the only way of contacting him was through PM and through his website (which is now off).

His bitcointalk profile can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=229601 (If you mean lutpin or HHampuz, they definitely can't help you.)

But, as already above mentioned: he hasn't been online in a long time, so your PM will fall on deaf ears most likely.

People do care, as you can see a tag is placed on his account marking him as a scammer.

Other than that, there isn't much we can do to pressure "Bitblender" to come back. He's completely anonymous, and by the looks of it, he doesn't have a (guilty) conscience.

So unless Bitblender comes back, no, your funds are lost. Scroll up & you can see that parts of the funds allegedly have already been moved through various exchanges, which makes the chances of him returning them extremely slim imo.
EDIT: it was this thread where a user claims customer funds were moved. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153859.msg51848029#msg51848029
