Title: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: burenka on May 30, 2019, 02:42:42 PM Hey there! In my previous post I've mentioned that there is a lot of new gambling projects these days: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5144812 . After that post, I've made several researches, and now some data are ready to review and feedback.
Let`s count them, shall we? Below there is a table with "top" 63 cryptogambling projects, sorted by traffic/popularity in April '19. Traffic data based on SimilarWeb counters, so it very aproximate. Month Change is difference between March and April traffic data. Last collumn - Visa/MC - is about alternative payments.
It is hard to make it looks okay in forum-BBcode, so here is link on full data in Goolge-Sheets format, in which also some more data inside: some comparsion with classic online gambling benchmarks, more detailed data about languages and payment methods: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VojTKPQKGewT4J7YvkMFZo5V_Mo45GqalzYOPl_usfg/edit#gid=0 I'll be really happy to get some feedback and additions, if you know any more gambling projects, please send me links in PM or here in comments, and next month I will add this litle survey with all additional projects, and most fresh data (about May), and some additional layers and graphs. Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: StartupAnalyst on May 30, 2019, 03:03:44 PM This tells us that more and more people will use these resources because they are typically aggressively advertised. Waiting for $11,000 for BTC by the end of next month! :D
Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: Ailmand on May 30, 2019, 03:11:42 PM What are the grounds that you have considered in ranking these sites? However, I could see an accuracy but we have different perspectives. There are sites where we're comfortable using yet they're listed on the lower rank. The good thing is, most of the gambling sites that I'm currently using are listed on the top 15.
Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: Haunebu on May 30, 2019, 03:16:57 PM Am not surprised to see Freebitco on top due to the increase in their popularity over the years. The recent lambo game probably attracted even more visitors. Its good to see some other sites that I have used like Stake and Yolodice on top too.
On the other hand, there are some sites in your list that have serious negative accusations against them like 1xcoin and betcoin, but are still being visited regularly. I guess most of those people don't check the reviews before visiting such sites. Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: Genemind on May 30, 2019, 03:28:45 PM Seems like you have searched well to get these results.
Glad to see my favourite and trusted sites on top of the list. I agree that gambling sites on top are really reputable like Bitcoincasino, primedice, nitrogen, windice and of course Stake. If we'll completely observe and gather more data and comparison, I'm sure that there will be changes on the rankings. He mentioned that the ranks are based on traffic and popularity so it doesn't necessarily mean that the website that's on top of the list is the best. I think this kind of ranking in not very accurate because you can say a casino is better than others just because it gets more traffic every month. Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: Gozie51 on May 30, 2019, 04:29:15 PM I think this kind of ranking in not very accurate because you can say a casino is better than others just because it gets more traffic every month. It might not be totally accurate but I think the data are generated through the traffic too because a good site would always see people going to play with them always and those on bad list would always have low turn out until maybe they adjust their weakness. Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: MakeMoneyBtc on May 30, 2019, 05:14:46 PM I think this kind of ranking in not very accurate because you can say a casino is better than others just because it gets more traffic every month. There are also some websites in the top that I've never heard before and they don't even have a thread opened on bitcointalk. That's because they are mostly fiat based casinos that are also accepting bitcoin and that's why they get so much traffic when in fact we can't really call them crypto gambling websites just because they have bitcoin as a payment method. This is why I said this ranking system is not quite accurate but I understand the OP just created this thread and I support him for the effort he has put in to help this community. He asked for a feedback and recommendations and I said what's my opinion about this. I think this kind of ranking in not very accurate because you can say a casino is better than others just because it gets more traffic every month. The casino which gets more traffic is popular and therefore people visit those sites. If the site is not popular then we may not see consistent more traffic. The only exception to this rule is that a casino is able to generate fake traffic (which is very unlikely to happen). Yeah, there was some google, and some crypto-forums search, and then refferal-traffic survey, mostly with Similar Web and Alexa, i collected about 184 projects for now in full-list via link, and after that it took some time to study them a litle, and there is a lot of them, so a lot of time. so I could skip some intresting projects, with hope that after first release community feedback will help me to get all missed intresting projects to this list, so with next update it will be full. Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: leowonderful on May 30, 2019, 08:52:49 PM 777Coin is another pretty popular and reputable casino that wasn't included here. Their site link is here (click for link (https://777coin.com/)), and they also have a forum thread here (click for link (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=238323.0)). Some of the more 'popular' sites according to pure traffic standings are actually somewhat questionable in their business practices and because of certain actions that have happened in the past with those sites, but still a nice list nonetheless.
It'd also be helpful if you could link the forum threads to the sites you have listed here if applicable. It's always nice to see what other people here think about certain sites, and there's really no place with more discussion in regards to crypto gambling than this forum. Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: Bitinity on May 30, 2019, 11:27:04 PM wow Not that surprising as the traffic mostly come from users who are looking for free doge through the faucet not for users who are real gamblers imho. This topic says "Survey", but who did the survey? One more thing, there are so many sites that I have never even heard before. Are they reliable enough? If I can suggest something, I would ask you to add some more information about the gambling sites such as Provably Fair (Y/N), KYC(Y/N). Also make it in a table would be much more better, to make it easier to read the whole thing you try to provide. Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: Kevin77 on May 31, 2019, 04:57:38 PM This is somehow showing us that there are still big casinos that we do not hear about that much. I mean most of us know the top ones like freebitcoin and freedogecoin and what not but stake and windice and all that looks lower than places like parimatch.com which I have never heard before, maybe that is because they serve for fiat currency as well which makes them bigger but they probably have bitcoin option as well which is why it is now looking like its above many of the casinos we know.
In my mind places like bustabit, stake, windice, freebitcoin all should be on the top while all these fiats should be taken away. If a casino has fiat option then its not a crypto casino, even if it has crypto option in it that means its just a fiat casino but with crypto option. I would say do the list again but with places that have no fiat option at all. Title: Re: Top 63 c-gambling projects list | April'19 survey Post by: kryptqnick on May 31, 2019, 07:12:04 PM The list is pretty good! I could not come up with any decent casino not included there. I wanted to ask where you got the info on monthly visits for these. I also agree with you that perhaps this forum is not best equipped for such lists. Why don't you make a website? It could be like coinmarketcap, but for casinos. I think people would find it useful, and you could live off some premium advertisings and stuff. Anyway, regardless of where this goes, I wanted to make a couple of suggestions. Firstly, I think it would have been really nice if you could add a column on KYC and put something like 'Yes' if it's always required, 'No' if never and 'Sometimes' if it depends. Another thing is the reputation column, where a casino can have a positive (if it's a well-known casino with, say positive trust on this forum), negative (if it's known for scamming people) and neutral (if it's new or has small disputable scam accusations). Good luck!
P.S. When I saw your thread it reminded me of this one, so maybe this will help you to organize the 'table' better if you feel like doing it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0. Bitcoin casino and Primedice are the best gambling sites for me as I am very much comfortable of having my gambling hobby with them before but when Windice.io comes I felt a better place to hang out. The user's interface and every accessibility they have are enough for me to enjoy and to feel secure. Traffic and popularity aren't bad to consider as a data basis for the ranking. But popularity is not always a thing to consider to have the best. Because sometimes, there are a lot of popular things that aren't really good with the service, yet they have an alternative that makes them popular.

I am happy that windice ranked top 11 even if it was just created and run this year March. Since I am wearing their signature so I am proud of the achievements as well. Players can check this thread out for them to choose where is the gambling site that it comfortable for them to play with.
