Our mainnet just went live on 6/2/2019 and right now we have three forging delegates and two more scheduled to join.

Digital Gem's vision is to be a store of value just like Bitcoin but with DPOS (Delegated Proof of Stake). As of right now, Digital Gem Token is faster (8 second block time), more environmentally friendly (Less electricity usage) and more scaleable (higher TPS) than Bitcoin. Also, our inflation rate is 0.25% per year compared to 3% for fiat currencies so relative to fiat currencies, we are a great store of value.

Our inflation rate is not zero because we want to make sure that our delegates are well taken care of. We have a block time of 8 seconds and a 1 Digital Gem block reward every block that will continue forever. We feel that this economics set up will ensure network sustainability in the long run as the delegates maintain the ledger and they won't do it for free as there are hardware costs (hard drive updates, better cpu, etc) and we feel that 1 Digital Gem per block or 0.25% inflation per year, will incentivize delegate nodes to keep maintaining the ledger forever.

Also, our token is integrated with the Ark Wallet so our network can be found using the Ark Wallet https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/desktop-wallet/releases

Here are the detailed instructions https://www.digitalgemtoken.com/wallet-faq but simply put, if you go to manage networks in the Ark Wallet and input our seed server address of http://138.197.133.81:4003 you can fully connect to Digital Gem.

Digital Gem is more environmentally friendly than Bitcoin because it is based on the Delegated Proof of Stake consensus mechanism rather than Bitcoin's proof of work consensus mechanism so, it uses 1,040.4 / 167,124,241 = 0.0000062253% of the daily electricity usage as Bitcoin.

Since we are based on the Delegated Proof of Stake consensus, we are much more scale able than Bitcoin. Bitcoin can perform around 7 transactions per second whereas Digital Gem can scale up to 100 transactions per second without a problem and that is a conservative estimate.

Also, we have a block time of 8 seconds compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes. That means transactions are sent in 8 seconds at Digital Gem compared to 10 minutes for Bitcoin.

We are currently seeking delegates to forge with us. We have three delegates at the moment and two are scheduled to join so there are plenty of room right now for everyone.

We are a fork of the Ark Mainnet and our token was made possible by the mainnet devs from Ark.io

That is why our network is integrated within the Ark Wallet.

If you go to my website, under mainnet, you can see how to access our network within the Ark Wallet but basically, under managed networks, if you input our seed server address of http://138.197.133.81:4003 our mainnet will show up.

We are in active communication with the Ark Mainnet Devs as we are a part of the Ark Ecosystem so if they have any new releases, we are most likely going to adopt it.

In terms of the white paper, I feel that the website has explained everything that needs to be talked about. There is no need for a wordy whitepaper that basically includes items that are not needed.

We had to re launch our main net because it did not pass the review from the Ark's main developers notably Rob at Ark Labs II.

You are fast, our first launch was only down for six hours and you caught it even though the bitcoin talk thread was probably buried in page 20 or so.

So, this should be our final launch as we do not anticipate any more issues as we have corrected all of Alex (Ark Team), Sam (Ark Team) and Rob at Ark Labs II's concerns but they were of amazing help in getting us situated and set up so we thank them dearly.

To answer your question, yes our blockchain is 100% ready. It is a fully functional and independent blockchain.

Wix had a revenue of 603.70 million dollars in 2018 so a wixsite is a pretty good platform in my opinion.

Im a fan of DPOS like Lisk,  Ark and etc. I want to know is there any use case of this token? or just an peer to peer token only just like others ARK based token.

Yes, we are based on Ark and we are proud to say so.

Ark's vision is not to be a store of value cryptocurrency just like Bitcoin with Delegated Proof of Stake.

Ark's vision if we're not mistaken is more geared towards being a hub or center in which many blockchains can interact with each other using the smartbridge technology. Also, with the smartbridge technology, many other applications can be built on top of it such as the plugins marketplace and the delegate marketplace.

The other cryptocurrencies based on Ark such as Kapu, Ripa Exchange, unik-name, Swapblocks etc are not trying to be a store of value cryptocurrency just like Bitcoin with Delegated Proof of Stake either.

If you look broader and look for all Delegated Proof of Stake projects, we are the only one that is trying to be a store of value cryptocurrency just like Bitcoin but with Delegated Proof of Stake

Digital Gem Token is the only Delegated Proof of Stake cryptocurrency whose vision is to be a store of value exactly like Bitcoin but based on Delegated Proof of Stake.

Our inflation rate is 0.25% per year and none of the Delegated Proof of Stake cryptocurrencies mentioned above has that low of an inflation rate or shares the same vision as us.
