If I lived in Nunavut I would pay 0%

You would pay 5% GST.  :)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sales_taxes_in_Canada

I went to Timmies yesterday and was charged $1.90 for a large coffee, and with 5% GST it came out to $2 exactly.   The nice round number can fool you into thinking there is no tax, but Timmies made 4.5 billion last year selling a lot of coffee - they pay taxes.

0% HST and on food items or items under 4$ there is no GST to the consumer, the vendor would have to pay 5% GST to the government (feds).

Those are places that have no provincial tax, so no HST.  But you still pay GST.

Show us a receipt that does not list tax.  :/

Wait I think you are right actually. Still you avoid the high sales tax or whatever it is.
Notice in the pictures above.

If I bought 3 single coffee`s it would of been $6
If I bought 3 in the same order it is $6.45

I pay HST and HST(1) on orders over 4$
I pay HST on orders under 4$

So split orders ^_^

Let`s us say I own a business online and it was like a dollar store, I could auto split every transaction for people to help them save big.
Think of how many part manufacturers could save in Canada buy selling in bulk but by unit.
