Please, suggest me some bitcoin movie. I am looking for some Bitcoin movies that will increase my knowledge about Bitcoin. Wherever Bitcoin has come from, how do I get to know about all the correct information about it. So, please suggest me some good movies that have been made about Bitcoin. Thank you.

This are some bitcoin related movies but havent watch them all only half of that.
You its just an hour and half per movie you can watch them all at 1 day

In what exactly thing you want to increase your knowledge about bitcoin? technicalities, transactions or what? there's plenty of movies and documentaries that you can search with google.

Some of the movies aren't really teaching their viewers about bitcoin but it's giving the bad side of it just like the movie 'Crypto'. If you want to learn more about specific thing about bitcoin, the best that you can do is research about it.

if you want for pure entertainment purposes, then watch the new kurt russel movie about Bitcoin, other wise you will have to stick with the documentaries and stuff mentioned before

Well, I have also watched this movie that made me really enthused about Bitcoin. The movie s called "Dope" and it is about some high school boy trying to find a use case for Bitcoin. But as the general media always do, the movie is about drug transaction tho, but if you watch it with the blockchain/Crypto eyes, you wouldn't concentrate much on the drug aspect.
I also learnt this 2019 movie- Crypto also has some info about Bitcoin usage even tho the movie isn't all that crypto-friendly.

Well ypu should definitely watch documentaries about bitcoin. There are a lot of sources of it online to gain more knowledge and idea about bitcoin. There are movies where bitcoin is slightly part of it, so documentaries will be your best bet to learn more about crypto.

I certainly wouldn't bother with any traditional movies, not that there are very many. I probably wouldn't bother with most documentaries either. They're going to have a narrow angle and be hopelessly out of date.

If you're in the mood for a terrible crime thriller that mentions Bitcoin a few times, check out Crypto (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crypto_(film)). It's supposed to be truly awful and as expected, unrealistic. That's the only mainstream movie I'm aware of.

Honestly, I've been pretty disappointed with all the Bitcoin documentaries I've seen. It's hard to recommend anything.

The latest movie about bitcoin or crypto is titled "Crypto it isn't really a great one or informative one .
It only focus or shown the negative side of crypto currency,
But you could always watch a documentary about crypto,
You could also watch the movie called "Deep Web" it focus on the Silk Road.
And as we all know Bitcoin became famous because of it and also that is the reason why people thinks Bitcoin or crypto is illegal.

It is new to me that Bitcoin has its own movie related I didn't expect that such thing. But base on the previous replies I actually know that there are some movies that is related on Bitcoin. I hope all of those movies I could watch to increase my knowledge and to learn some new stuff in blockchain and crypto currency.

There are lots of Bitcoin and crypto related movies which you could find online. However, if you're looking for something which is knowledgable, you could watch a lot of documentaries and Bitcoin tutorials on Youtube.
Just be eager to search because some videos and movies are confusing because they contradict sometimes.

have many movies on bitcoin, you can get more movies in youtube and new movie trailer was released, that movie name crypto is very interesting.

I highly recommend The rise and rise of bitcoin and banking on bitcoin it gives you the basic Idea of bitcoin and also what kind of impacts it's making in the society in this modern era. although there more movies/documentary about bitcoin I suggest to watch these two first so you can get the gist of bitcoin.

This is true. Some movies gives you information about bitcoin but I don't think they are focused on its technicality or benefits. They portray the negative side than the positive ones. And as a supporter of bitcoin, it's sad to know that fact.

Movies are good. We can't deny that. It's more exciting and thrilling to watch but if you are looking for informations that would really help you know bitcoin in a technical sense, I suggest articles and books. And if you're really into watching things, then documentaries are better in my own opinion.

I want to get full knowledge of Bitcoin. Bitcoin's technicalities, transactions, everything in history. So I'm looking for some movies that will help me gain knowledge. There are several movies related to crypto, but they are not really that popular. There was a TV show(Bitcoin and Friends) related to Bitcoin too which didn't quite take off, but it was alright in my opinion.

If you really want something really spicy and related to crypto, I advise checking out Mr.Robot which is a hit TV show discussing the dark web and crypto related stuff in an intriguing manner. The show itself is pretty awesome too.

there are many films about bitcoin that have aired, I once watched but I forgot the title of the film. maybe you can search on google so you can make motivation by watching a movie about bitcoin.

Maybe OP only intend it to watch for solely entertainment purposes. You could also learn some things by watching it. Though, if the OP really wants to learn things about crypto, you're right for the things shown in those movie is not sufficient to learn all the things about crypto is.

Banking on Bitcoin is not a bad movie to watch. Bitcoin in Argentina will give you a better understanding of the cryptocurrencies. Deep Web is a cool film. You can also find good content on the YouTube channel.

I don't think that you can find that entire movie that you're desiring to watch to get all of that package. I'd like to advise you to watch first those documentaries on youtube and there's plenty of them.

Those docu's that are dealing with those points that you have mentioned. By just searching the keywords, they will eventually pop out and you have to choose or watch all of them one by one.

Did not read the whole topic but "silicon valley" series is absolutely worth to watch.
All the sitcom guys are working on the project, trying to raise some and as a result they decide to run an ICO.
Series covers everyting including team struggle against weird incubator owner, crazy angels and Amazon trying not to let them successed.
Everyone who was ICOing will recognize himself.

There is a Russian tv-series called Miner ("Maйнepы").

So far there are only 2 episodes available on youtube. Cant say that it's very interesting, but maybe they plot can catch you.

Woah. I will definitely check out this episode soon. I am not particularly a fan of Big bang theory, but the synopsis of this particular episode is quite interesting. I am guessing that they will find the drive by the end, but there won't be any coins on it.

Mentioned another TV show(Mr.Robot) earlier which talks about Bitcoin and crypto here and there. Popular movies and TV shows discussing crypto is the best way to help advertise BTC in my opinion.

I am good at movies but I am still not finding a good movie for bitcoin, those movies and documentaries that I've watched is still not good because most of it is lack of information about blockchain technology system.
Well, I am still hoping that in future they'll make some kind of movies that will meet the expectation of crypto lover. That is like many people will regret not buying bitcoin in that movie.

I think this movie is pretty good, I've watched it. Indeed bitcoin is better known in Deepweb because the system is anonymous and cannot be traced, there are many illegal transactions in it.

You're right, there are no movies that related more on bitcoin and it's flows. a lot of them are base on their experiences if they starting to know and invest bitcoin. they didn't show how could bitcoin affect our entire future. and how users interact with the market and its trend. those movies will appreciated but we find something different that relate on how traders work on market trading and invest bitcoin.

Yes these are so exciting movies to watch. I'm gonna watch these too. Watching movies makes me learn more than just reading it. Its better for me to see movies and action videos to learn from something especially bitcoin. Upon seeing this thread makes me happy and excited for all those movies mentioned.
