Title: 8000 Bitcoins seller
Post by: Leh-Meh on June 04, 2019, 07:22:23 AM
In 2018, when I would read bitcointalk.org there was this seller for 8000 Bitcoins. But 8000 x $5000 = $40,000,000.

There are sellers but very less buyers for Bitcoin at $5000.

I was busy with my website https://dangerousmother.com (https://dangerousmother.com)  In January 2019, I came to know people are losing interest in bitcoin. Nobody talks about Bitcoin after Bitcoin became a digital asset only and all the criminals and scammers coming to Bitcoin because of anonymity. Bitcoin increased crimes

Not everyone thinks that bitcoin contains elements of crime. All according to use. For me, bitcoin has changed my life a lot. I can buy a lot of things. I am sure that next year Bitcoin can reach more than $ 20,000

I tried to bring a Big buyer for the big seller but then the buyer disappeared. He never replied to me.

Then Bitcoin fell from $8000 to $3000. Did the seller get $40,000,000 now that bitcoin went up to $8000  ??? So I came here to have a look. I will leave after few days because my website is the real Gold nugget.

Bitcoin is not to blame for the increase in the number of scammers. They were before that, just there were other schemes of fraud and money laundering. From the fact that you were given a weapon you do not become a murderer. You become a murderer only when you start shooting at people. I advocate for the opening of cryptocurrency precisely for this reason, so that you can fight against drug trafficking and money laundering. And I hope that in time, special services will appear that will be able to track the movement of stolen and dirty money.

Definitely No. Bitcoin is being used by those people who are not good and they are using it because of the anonymity but we should consider the fact that it literally helps our economy to grow more and connect all of the people in the world by just using a single cryptocurrency bitcoin.
Bitcoin can be the future of currency who knows right. But, I am sure when that time comes almost every people in the world understand what is a cryptocurrency and what can it do in the future payments and assets.

And people conveniently forget that bitcoin rose from $0.01 to $3,200 in 10 years, and some have been bearish since it was $100, such as Peter Schiff.

People will pick and choose their timeframes to confirm their biases.

If you are planning to be anonymous there are other coins in the market that would aide those things like Zcash, Dash Monero and the endless fork coins that are anonymous, people who knows about the working of bitcoin will not find bitcoin as anonymous and if it was that easy for criminals you will not hear law enforcement authorities catching criminals that are using bitcoin, just google and you will find many high profile cases.

People are not losing interest with bitcoin, that never happens and in will not happen anymore because bitcoin will be more recognized. Hackers and scammers are everywhere, they just see a big opportunity here but its ok because bitcoin will be better and I think its the fault of the users not to protect their wallet.

By saying "bitcoin increases crime" does the fiat crime decrease? Scammers only move from fiat to bitcoin, if the matter of improvement in my opinion is no different because crime cases will continue to increase every year.
Bitcoin is quite influential in the world economy, where everyone gets financial freedom. Just because a lot of scammers doesn't mean because of bitcoin, it's because of the people. Small example: Before cars and motorbikes were created, of course there was a slight accident rate, after cars and bicycles were created and used on the highway, accidents increased, then do we blame the motorbikes and cars? motorbikes and cars are the same needs as bitcoin. So if there is a loss, it means the user is wrong.

Just because you see a crime here and there related to bitcoin it doesn't mean it is only used by criminals. News websites know how to promote this kind of articles because if bitcoin is in trending now a crime/scam related article would become popular way faster then an article related to bitcoin development or anything similar. Also one more thing,do you think people have start to do crimes and scams just because of Bitcoin? Obviously no. They did that in the past using fiat now they switched to bitcoin so there is no increase in crimes because of bitcoin

Those people were not real investors in mind and at heart. Bitcoin is volatile and it will surely affect our emotions.
We might lose our interest everytime the Bitcoin price drops down.
It's how we interpret and appreciate the importance of Bitcoin.
It's not Bitcoins mistake if people are using it in a negative way. Those people are just ruining Bitcoin's name.

True most of the people who lost interest are those who invested while it is being hype ,
They invested without knowing the risk and only want's to get profit.
But look at it now most of those people are back once again because Bitcoin is making some noise again.

I really not think that there are many that are losing interest with Bitcoin but vice versa I think that there are people that are getting interested in bitcoin more and more, Even though that the price right now in decreasing it is not a signal that the bull run is gone and that we are in another bear market, But that is a lot of bitcoin to sell that is why we are in the midst of decreasing the price.

I respect your opinion but I don't think people are losing their interest in Bitcoin. It's in the trend and people are becoming aware of how it works as a mode of payment and as an investment. We shouldn't underestimate Bitcoin especially now that huge companies are starting to adopt it.

I think you are misled from believing all of this stuff, people are not losing interest in Bitcoin, they just adopt a wait and see attitude, if people are losing interest in Bitcoin, then all the big companies will not adopt cryptocurrency, Facebook will not launch their own and Bitcoin and cryptocurrency will not become the top search keywords in the internet.

You must be talking about 2018 which is considered as the bitcoin winter year when many people sold their hoard and it seemed that interest with bitcoin was waning. Not so in 2019 because we are still in the midst of a bullish state and many predictions stated bitcoin can easily go beyond $10,000. Before, it is a common perception that bitcoin can be abetting crime because of its anonymous nature but this is not true anymore because bitcoin transactions can easily be traced and in fact there are now some successful cases in court where criminals are caught with their acts using bitcoin. Soon, bitcoin is going to be known as an anti-crime coin, that's for sure.

Well nowadays we have many operators interested in Bitcoin, no matter what they have sold, sure now in 2019 and another investor has those 8000Bitcoins, at the moment there is a lot of buyers, I'm sure the interest in bitcoin has grown a lot, and will continue to grow, and with respect to being used for bad purposes, all things are used for different things, you just have to give them the correct use.

I also wonder why people want to bring bitcoin down because of allegation of being used for criminal activities. It is an allegation as I can say because it has not been proven that all bitcoin activities and transaction are fraud or criminal intent. And fiat also can be used or being used for other criminal activities.

Point of correction, even the fiat currency increase crime, don't you know this? your government had embezzle some funds either for positive use or for negative use. In my country for example, the government award contracts to family members and friends and get away with some percentages of the contract money, and also, the contractor, and at the end the project stand still without anybody saying a word. Governments around the world buy weapons with fiats for war, some government sponsored terrorist with fiat money and your are not seeing them as crime, open your eyes bros. Na u sabi if u no dey hear word.......    :-\

Polish crypto exchange Coinroom has disappeared along with customers' funds. Their website and all social channels are MIA as well. Ciphertrace reported that in Q1 of 2019, over 356 million dollars from cryto exchanges were stolen which were all visible losses. However in this case the total amount of funds remain unknown which ultimately means that there are even bigger losses at hand than just the 365 million which is insane.

I am really disappointed to have to keep hearing about these types of exit scams. What do we do?

Bitcoin does not increase crimes. Bitcoin is used by childrens having smartphones. Bitcoin is used by young people to buy everything they wanted, from everywhere in this world.  I was a very poor man until 10 years ago, I was living on 1 dollar/day , I had no freedom, I had no friends.
Now I can buy good food, I have freedom and I have many friends, and Bitcoin has made these possible.

I am sure that many people still using bitcoin for good things and not for illegal activity because they realize that it is better to do good things than bad things.
So if there are people who use bitcoin for illegal things, we can let them do whatever they want, and we still need to use bitcoin for good things.
I am sure that the buyer will come back to bitcoin again, and for people who already stress or desperate with the losses they've got in the last year, I am sure that they will realize that it's what happens in the cryptocurrency.
There will be a new investor in bitcoin and altcoin because the situations will change from time to time, and it's not the same as before.

"There are sellers but very less buyers for Bitcoin at $5000."  what the hell does this mean? Bitcoin is selling at 8k where does 5k come from? You not making sense.

"I came to know people are losing interest in bitcoin" Who?

"Nobody talks about Bitcoin after Bitcoin became a digital asset only" So we are nobody? It became a digital asset? Like on its own? How does something become something? It is a currency not a digital asset I use it constantly.

"all the criminals and scammers coming to Bitcoin because of anonymity. Bitcoin increased crimes"   This one made me laugh. All of them huh? So the guys that broke into my neighbor's place last year were into bitcoin? All scammers??  Bitcoin increases crime is my favorite one. No people increase crime. No matter how badly people paint bitcoin and other crypto, there can't be a problem of buyers. Presently, bitcoin and other Cryptos have experienced massive adoption which has signaled a new dawn for crypto and its underlying blockchain tech. Bitcoin to me still remains a very effective currency with which to carry out fast transactions without 3rd party interference.

Yes totaly agree with you, many people think bitcoin are illegal currency which are used by hacker and terorist to fund money for doing the crime. But in my opinion bitcoin is something more than currency, bitcoin is the leading technology that we have right now that makes 5G real and also blockchain.
