Can we still expect more from bitcoin?

For the past few weeks now we can see that bitcoin shifted up little bit and its more than $8000,this is really great for we have waited for a while for improvement on bitcoin.  But are we going to see more of the increase as its going or it will run around $8000 plus?

we have to analyze the market, now I see that BTC fell within a few days ago.  and that's normal.  BTC must fall a little before BTC creates bullish.  but we must know that the graph of BTC growth today is very slow.  certain.  this condition creates fear and makes us worry.

It's hard to predict but if we'll check on the previous history of Bitcoin, we could see that Bitcoin could even exceed our expectations. It can reach even more because it has a capability to go beyond without any limit. There will be corrections but I believe that Bitcoin will still strike high.

I agree, we really can predict what's going to happen in the coming days though as we can see it dropped now to $7800 but maybe it will rise up again in the comings days, I guess it is still early to think that we cannot expect more from bitcoin. With its history as reference, the price may rise hopefully it will reach $10,000. We'll just have to wait and see.

According to the articles that I've read it's expected that the bitcoin will crash eventually after hitting $9k or at least $10K and it will stay low for a mean time before going to a full bullish. I don't know what technical details they've studied if I'm right i remember that their basis is the price of bitcoin last 2017 where bitcoin go full bullish.

More and more are excepted from btc this year , many are excepting below 2000 which was refuse by the market and recently in surge to a tune of $9000+ while its in correction mode now to gain momentum for next leg up which might be a big blow for the price , while we all waiting for what it has .

Price of bitcoin now has big difference than before, where we can expect more increase because we actually experienced the bull run already. There will have a recovery and the price it has now might be double if we wait more. Though it is hard to expect, but the market doing good and bitcoin makes popular everyday.

In June alone, perhaps a push above $8000 is possible. With the current trend still favoring the bulls albeit a pullback from $8500 down to $7800, I see no reason not to think that bitcoin is still on the side of the bulls. Also with the events lined up in June alone, together with the news of different companies looking to accept bitcoin payments, a push beyond $8000 is no that that hard as long as there are no intended manipulation from the whales. Anyhow, previous charts alone will tell you that bitcoin has the capability to exceed expectations, and it has never failed to do so for a lot of times now.

So far it's been more than I was expecting. I'm not all that interested in any price action until the halving is well in the rear view mirror. I reckon the 10 grand level will be a tough nut to crack and there'll be multiple attempts to breach it.

We've been treated to some explosive signs of life. That's enough to tide me over at least for quite some time.

It is hard to expect in crypto because as you may see there would always be an unexpected turns on it.
Just when everybody is expecting it to be great and reach $10K in this month things had started to go south.
But we never know this might just be it's start to climb up again and go way further than it had in the past few months.

Considering the growth it has attained over the past it is true that we can expect a bigger price as well massive adoption to take place. With cryptocurrency it is always the best choice to move with the market than just going on expectations as we aren't sure about the growth of bitcoin as well the other cryptocurrencies that follow the market of bitcoin.

Inside investors minds, the potential to expect more from bitcoin value is really high, it's good to be more optimistic and wait, keep your coins
safe and if you still have spare money, keep investing and wait till new nounce up happens, more profits to expect when the value begin to rise high

We have to expect more from Bitcoin and we have to know these are not the final limits. Still everything has its time and for the moment we are in correction phase. So.patience is needed and the price will grow again, we might also see some more significant rise but not in this very moment. 10000$ level or even more could be reached at the end of this year or begininig the next.

There is still plenty of room for bitcoin growth. Technology is just being recognised and more and more institutions are jumping in. Previous rallies were all because of hype but this time it is organic.

I still think bitcoin is underevaluated now and we will can get a good profit over time if we hold for long i think we make a good decision, next months we will have a bigger grow for sure and price will be over 10k.

I am still a strong believer that this is just a temporary dip. But we will see how bitcoin behaves in the next few days. In case the correction can continue pushing down bitcoin then we might be in danger of returning to the bitcoin winter or bearish mode. Let's hope that eventually the bear will be catching up soon. Let's maintain the overall positive aura of the market...let's all support bitcoin by buying more. This is all just a psychology and figures, of course.

Yes I also agree with you. People didn't see bitcoin at that time and many of our experts also did not expect that the value will grow up in that huge value. If bitcoin really repeats its history well then we have to prepare in order to not feel regret in the end. And I think we should expect more in BTC cause the adoption is already happening and no one can say that if the whole world adapts into it, for sure it will be revolutionary.

A coin that has been able to risen to 20,000 and come down all the way to 4000 and has climbed back again to 8000, I think more good thing should be expected from bitcoins by the time we reach the end of 2019, Bitcoins will go another bull run to 10,000 USD and over.

Everyday is expecting day for bitcoin either good or bad, there are always happening on it,but the most expected things that i want to happen is getting back its price that what supposed to happened last year and im pretty sure that it will for as current situation.

It can only go forward and up, even if we experienced this recent dip, reports tell us it's sort of manipulation and we are heading to correction again and after that Bitcoin will go up again but expect more interruptions along the way.

If bitcoin or any altcoins where only just increasing sporadically without any let downs at some moment I do feel the prices should have gone above $50k but no this price do not work in such manner bitcoin has gone below $8000 after such a great rise which surprised most cryptocurrency fans. Yes, indeed for now Bitcoin stays at the level of $ 8000, I think while, many can be found about news about the price of Bitcoin more positively, I'm sure the price of bitcoin continues to move as market demand today, so this year bitcoin will have a positive impact for its users.

BTC is the only coin that keeps growing, no reason to stop believing on it. If you are like me that has nothing to trade that can affect the market, nothing can be done but wait til the demand eats up that will make the price climb up. And it will happen it don't matter when so if you are asking if we expect more of BTC, yes expect more of it than altcoins.

Yes, the price won't pump so fast as many investors want. It takes time to rise with consistency. Bitcoin has already reached 20,000 dollars, so 8000 dollars isn't really too much, there is potential to reach minimum near 10,000 dollar this year yet, but once again, we need to be patient.
Some corrections like the currently one will happen, and a lot of panic selling will make them deeper, but it's not so serious. Halving is coming, lots of good news about bitcoin are being spread, so the market still has many reasons to be optimistic.

Don't judge bitcoin based on its movement in just months of weeks, look at the longer period potential, if you are here to make more profit investing in bitcoin, you should hold as that is the only way possible. People can judge short term movement if they are traders, and want to trade because of the bitcoin's volatility, but we long term investors, wants real money and we believe in the long run we can see bitcoin grow in value more.

Bitcoin is currently on the downside movement and i think it will go drown up to $7.2k before it rallies again back to $8kand hopefully up to $9k this June. However no one really knows what will happen but in long-term we will see more gains in terms of bitcoins price.

The next rally should break the barrier of $9k, and once that’s broken then it’s only a matter of days before we see bitcoin prices crossing $10k levels. It is speculated that bitcoin prices shall reach $20k by the year end, so you see there’s a lot to come all you need to be is patient and hodl your coins.

There are a lot of times that Bitcoin drops far less than what we have right now. $8000 might not be that large compared to the reigning ATH but comparing to the prices last year, this is better. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that is so volatile and a lot of people are using it so there are still a lot of things we expect from it.

Most investors are expecting only one thing from Bitcoin - its growth. Very few people really need it for anonymity and safe transactions, however, the latter characteristics can be really improved in the future.

  I believe that bull trend occurrence will immediately appear soon, it is about time and determination by engaging the consequence. Depends on the outcome you are expecting. I mean if the price goes up right now then we can go as high as 20k+ and break the all time high but if its not going to happen and passes 10k and you are fine with that then you can expect that to happen, even after this huge correction and dump on the market the price didn't fall more then 10% in a week which is more then we can ask for and I am 100% sure we will be going up very soon. The only question in my mind is how high can we get not will we get high since I am certain we will.

I hope nothing like this happens again when we are going up because the more of these big dumps and corrections that happens the longer it takes to get high and the more time we spend on not high prices the more people start to sell and take out their profits which stops the forward movement.

I still expect more from bitcoin. But i don't have good analysis about it. Only know bitcoin price always be good in each year and when pumped or dumped, it always go back to better price.

I expected more panic sellers but it seems people wont let go there crypto that fast anymore. Hopefully the upcoming month will stay around 8k and push on from there. 

Bitcoin is the number 1 coin and a lot crypto holders depends on it. Definitely, something motr will be expected from it market despite all that we still need to face the fact that every trend the market pose is always constant because every successful market must also accept debt.

they already understand the correct trading method and they already know that panic will only make them lose and cannot get profits, so many of them still hold the cryptocurrency assets they have even though the price falls they are still sure prices will rise again someday.

If you say hope, we shouldn't expect 100% in bitcoin because bitcoin has an uncertain price, it could be expensive today and the possibility of tomorrow will decline again but we must always work hard to get a rather large result both in the world  digital though and the business world and others that can produce wealth

Definitely, first there will be more supply everyday. Second, more and more haters are being born with this dump.  I bet there are lots of people scratching their head now thinking that they are losing their investment. But, despite of those things, if one have patience, they can see that bitcoin has more to offer.  Adoption will give more demand.  Government are already acknowledging bitcoin so it is just a matter of time for the real mass adoption.  With this, I believe Bitcoin will give more in both value, and price value.


Just wait, in every uphill climb of price there is always retracement and what is happening now is one of it.

All you can see in their answers here will just be mere speculation. You cannot trust that as always for anything could happen in the market.
The big $500 change just days ago is not expected by anyone. Someone sold a lot of BTC and it is like they are making profit for this large pump.
Now, those kind of events will happen anytime again.

i wonder what did you really expect from bitcoin this year? no doubt, that everyone expecting for uprise trend for bitcoin price so we can earn profit as much as we can. but in reality the market trend are still need for correction, we will find another up and down trend ahead and it is normal, my prediction there will no significant up or down trend in the near future, the price will shows between $7000 - $8000 until the end of this year. 

That's safe, and even at that price, it has already double the price.
But me, I'm really expecting bitcoin, the ATH this year thus far is $9000, so at least we will reach over $10,000, that's only very conservative.

I think these straight $1000 lines are actually dangerous for the health of BTC which is why BTC should drag down and correct a little bit before it starts exploding when news like ETF approved, Bakkt launched and other major ones show up on the board. I believe BTC is up for an extremely huge explosion this time, even above $100k (that's completely my personal belief but you can't call it hypothetical or stupid because BTC has accomplished the impossible a lot of times). But before that, it should calm down a bit and give alts a steep chance to rise and catch up with the ongoing action BTC has been showing since past few days.

I guess that he expects to see bitcoin price increase into the higher price and I am sure that we are going in the right way. Bitcoin price slowly to increase and we already saw the price was down, but then the price will go up later. The up and down of the price will be good for us, especially if we can get a low price to buy and sell when the price increase higher. That will help us to gain more and more profit from the differences in the price, and if we can do that many times, I am sure that our profit will bigger.

I believe there is still some in the tank for bitcoin. We haven't dropped too much and we are still looking bullish, all charts and all chatter from people seem to focus on the fact that bitcoin is still holding strong and from here on out if we can go higher than we will probably not stop until 12 thousand dollars which is a hefty profit for all of us, what scares me most is the 12 thousand level not here, I am 90% sure that we will go higher than this price and hit that 12 thousand number but the resistance there is so strong that we may go down and not go above that for a long time, like really long time which may result with another bear run if we are not careful. We can't just say "this was the end" and sell after we reach that level.

I do believe the 20k price was already the future price.

Just have a faith in it bro. It's already a good start that we now see bitcoin back to $9k but I know it happened quickly but the thing is that it's holding up around that value. Just be patient enough because I'm very sure that a bit of Fomo every month will make the price kick in $50k next year or maybe the highest price we did not imagine.

Last week we are experiencing dumps and it reaches into $7.7k but it turns into good right now and seeing it rallying back into $8k. Huge this comes back it will continue into another ATH that we are a hunger to see it.
I'm too positive that it will reach into $15k this year, I'll be in doubts if it could move farther buy $20k as the risk will too high which people have a learning experience last 2017 bull run. 

There are many things we can expect in bitcoin one is the surprising market price movement. For now the current market price has back down and of course not all expected it to happen since most of the bitcoin users wishes bull run. In the current state at being 8K usd the next time you can see is a huge market price increase.

Patience is the only thing to develop now and bitcoin is in the best position to grow now than in 2017, I also believe that we are more matured now than in 2017. Bitcoin has not stop growing and from the orders book across the exchanges we are seeing new buying orders been placed day in day out and it is a sign that bitcoin will do well in the future and $8000 area is not the stopping point or bullish reversal level. For those that are used to risk taking I think now should be the right time to invest and wait until bitcoin cross it last two years high and by May when bitcoin will halving and this will reduce supply and in turn affect bitcoin price positively.

History to repeat itself and it's likely that it can go more. Most predictions tell that it can go higher than the peak of 2017.

I dont think we have to base everything on btc history. Because even if it wont achieve previous success, it is still profitable even higher than previous years. there are always changes even in just 1 week. With high investment, profit can be made in a weekly basis. Rather than waiting for just one time big time profit.

Middle to long term, I think we're going to see more from Bitcoin than what we have now and we likely haven't topped out on this move yet, though we might sit around the $8000 area for a while more before potentially continuing a move up to a higher local high here.

As for how high we might go in the future, I see BTC going past the previous ATH at the very least. Nobody can tell the future for certain, though, and it's extremely difficult to try to perfectly time the markets. Gotta be prepared for the worst to happen at all times.

$100K is nothing. That would be a very small bubble compared to the previous ones, percentage wise. I think the next run may actually blow 2013 and 2017 out of the water.....million dollar bitcoins are possible. Just a feeling I'm getting, taking an overview of the market and the propensity for institutional and mainstream adoption.

It depends on what you consider to be the worst that may happen according to you. In my opinion that would be Tether imploding or a major bug in the code leading to x negative outcome resulting in a massive selloff. Both are temporary events that won't affect Bitcoin in the very long run. I would even say that they present people an amazing buying opportunity.

As long as we don't have a lot of cash settled futures platforms I'm sure that the spot demand will drive Bitcoin easily past the $100,000 level, and that's just a conservative guess. If you think about it, it's not even that much of an achievement at all with how it's 'just' a 13x increase from current levels. One massive bull run is enough to reach that level.

We can still expect more from cryptocurrency, bitcoin will grow slowly and the future is bright. I agree that we already have the assurance and we are looking forward for that price. Don’t hurry because you might miss this cheap level when the price climb up, practice patience always and expect for good price in long term.

That may be true, but Bitcoin is not as easy to pump as it was back in 2013 and 2017 with how there is so much more capital that needs to flow into the market right now. The more economical mass Bitcoin has, the harder it is to move up.

In order to hit a price between $200-$400,000 we need institutions to go nuts on Bitcoin. Retailers alone won't be enough anymore. A coin backed ETF would help attract billions in fresh capital, but we're probably still years away from having the SEC approve one. Good thing about that is the fact that people can still accumulate at fairly reasonable prices.  ;D

We are only on developing stage if you are longterm holder this price of Bitcoin is too cheap compare to 2017 bull run or the all time high. Most of us want to see Bitcoin going back to its all time high if Bitcoin break the $10,000 we will see a new all time high my prediction before ths end of this year the price will touch the $15k level before breaking its all time high and 2020 halving will pushing bitcoin to $30k.

It is hard to predict the market movement as there are lot of development that are now happening in the Crypto space like stolen cryptos, scam investments and many more in which may affect the market movent all the time. Constant review the market so that you could have your own analysis which may help you to create your own decision.

This is a common narrative but I don't think it's correct. I don't think we've barely gotten a taste of mainstream adoption yet. Institutional adoption might come first because Wall Street is smart enough to front run Main Street, but I don't think we need Wall Street at all. Bitcoin's value comes by virtue of adoption itself (i.e. Metcalfe's Law). I think the positive price feedback loops and Bitcoin's monetary properties are enough to drive mainstream adoption. Bitcoin's exceptional scarcity will handle the rest.


My biggest mistake in 2014-2016 was assuming I had forever to accumulate cheap. One day, this thing is going to go vertical into the millions USD and $10K will seem like a dream. I don't know if that'll be in 2020 or 2035 or whatever, but I'm not ruling out 2020 yet.

That is not what you call a development because afaik development means something good or positive but the ones that you mentioned above are already considered as an issue or problems that we usually faced on the crypto world  . if you can see such issue occur then you can also easily predict that the value of cryptos will fall  .

 the opposite thing happen if you see a good news which means the value of cryptos expected to increase  . its not really that hard to predict the market movement .

Recently I read an article that stated if bitcoin price has touched $10.000 then its price will be easy to grow up until its price touch $40.000 according to Thomas Lee. I saw the movement price bitcoin in a few weeks ago and I have a same think as Thomas Lee. Because the price bitcoin always showing to the price up, for an instance when its price dropped till 5% then it needs a several hours for the price went up again. This situation is really different from 2018 ago, at that time we just rely on fear when did trading or investing.

 I am still positive about the outgrow of bitcoin even its current price is bouncing $7k. Perhaps, bitcoin has shown promising and carrying huge potential in crypto market which most people had keep and resemble this asset even it is too risky.

Bitcoin will increase at the right time, although the price still up and down until now. But we have a chance to buy bitcoin at the low price because when the price is down, that means, our chance to get bitcoin will be there, and I think many people will use the chance too. Bitcoin doesnt fail me upto this point and still i would say that i will expect and stay with bitcoin for a lot of years in the future. Value wise, even though it doesnt reach its peak price yet, its progress among country's adoptation is  on a good point. Bitcoin will continue to go upward and i believe it

In the short term or long term? In the short term it is undecided what direction we will go, many people say we will be going up because we went down a lot already from over 9 thousand dollar levels but then we stopped and not going any lower which might be the signal that bitcoin is not willing to go any lower and this is the bottom for now and we will go up from here.

But, some people say that bitcoin always goes down a bit first then wait and go down again later doing this until we hit further bottom. Now, we have to see if it goes down again then we still have a way to go but if it goes up then this was the most recent bottom. However, if we are talking about long term I can see bitcoin existing another 50 years at least and it will surely be x100 of what it is today.

I think we should not expect more from bitcoin but expect more from the community behind it. What I always wanted to make people focus that during 2018 there was a lot of talks about how bitcoin was on a bear run and price went from 20k to 3k and everyone was sad but at the same time there was a lot of companies investing millions of dollars into crypto related business which means the community and business' behind bitcoin got bigger and bigger. They believed the true form of making money from bitcoin wasn't investing into bitcoin but investing into the infrastructure of bitcoins community.

Nowadays we do not see those investments because rich people prefer to put their money directly bitcoin and profit, that will not result with anything good in the long run.

I did not see the current sideway trending as the limit for bitcoin based on the current market conditions. I Strongly believe that the big investors are waiting for some trigger for the next bull run and we are to expect that any moment from now. I personally did not see the current price as the trend reversal level and I expect bitcoin to be in overbought around $10000.

This is a question that is apathetic and is not sure of the toughness that bitcoin has. obviously bitcoin is still the best at this time even though many altcoins are growing well.



The movement of bitcoin is very positive and currently moves up and down between $ 7K to more than $ 8K. it still needs more time to be able to return to being stable and strong, but in that direction it has been seen and the movement of the day is getting better and optimistic that bitcoin will continue to move up.

There will always be hope of bitcoin, bitcoin travel will be better for this year, and although the increase in bitcoin is slow, there will be hope to benefit from bitcoin.

It is better not to expect anything from bitcoin, with the past growth bitcoin has attained one can just believe the reality that can happen with bitcoin in the Short or in the long run. When expectations gets coincided it makes us happy and when goes away leads to disappointment.

It is a good choice to be prepared for the worst market situation, with that even a small level of growth will make a big change on our holdings or to the portfolio. As the market has been getting widened even the unreachable expectations too could come true in future.

I believe the major reason why the above user ask such question was because he was expecting too much from Bitcoin market while ignore the challenges which the coin usually overcome every day, every months etc and there's no way ones will make the best out of every moment if act like that cause his hope were all on the total bullish market.

Can't do that, I am expecting a lot in bitcoin that is why I am investing on it.
My expectation is for long term since I believe if the market matures, that's the time bitcoin will be consistently rising as we cannot stop the demand in the market.

Are you sure about that? You may not see investments in startups and whatnot, but they are still happening and more money than ever before is involved if you look at it from a year to year perspective.

when you don't expect anything from bitcoin, I think your enthusiasm for gathering will decrease. well, until now, I still really hope the price of bitcoin becomes very high. I believe in its potential. although the increase is not so fast, however, little by little, the bitcoin price will definitely be higher.

This is only the beginning! With that in mind, how to not be positive about bitcoin future? So many things achieved in just 10 years, every start is hard and I think the worst is behind us. The next 10 years bitcoin will grow faster, we now have so many people in cryptocurrencies, the word is spread and now we are watching giants joining too. We waited for this moment, and now way to the moon is clear.

It can never gos fast enough if you are waiting for it. How far we already are is faster then expected. New comers that where thinking skeptic about Bitcoin are just getting used to the fact it wont go away. 

At times it takes a fast pace and further it gets into gradual growth pattern with limited fluctuations at specific time interval between two price points. After gaining good support it gets pushed forward reaching the next price barrier. With bitcoin expectations never gets hurt, if you're prepared enough to experience it without any form of time target.

We are closed reaching at $14k last week but the unexpected drop-off is shown by now. Thus, it seems too hard to be in the final race for breaking another $15k barrier as I supposed to think that we can get it before we end the 2nd quarter. We can't make any speculations to be right but, this is what we end for and this fall might lead to strong resistance to follow.

In my opinion, there is still a lot of place for bringing cryptocurrency adoption in real life.
Given that, Bitcoin as the king of cryptocurrencies will be benefited everytime we achieve to bring adoption to the society. Small portions of that, will pushe the price higher and higher.

Yes, there is more to take place in terms of real life adoption. Another thing required to make the cryptocurrency network grow higher and higher is the usage by the common people. As of now very few people have begun to use cryptocurrency that too for trading and on limited needs. The growth of anything happens when it is used by the people in the low bottom.

BTC has been breaking the history in terms of volatility which it makes it being attractive. No one expected about its value and surely it will have a lot of surprises in the future years. Due to its function and movement, many were given an opportunity to used it in the community and I think many businesses has been adopting the system.

 Most people are really endure about the quick growth of bitcoin and expecting for its continuation uptrend, yet the recent value dump rapidly and it does not shown any assurance on when to overcome high volatilization. But still I am confident and optimist that the great bull trend will totally exceed bountifully.

But at current time it's really impossible to hit that milestone.
There is 0.1% chance that  Bitcoin will reach that mark in near future.
But for now we are waiting for BTC to break its all time record and cross 20k usd.
This will no doubt happen soon,  maybe in this year or maybe in couple of months.

There are lot of good development that is happening in favor of Bitcoin therefore i could say that yes we could expect some price increase of Bitcoin. We have already observed the baby bullish in which Bitcoin grows rapidly which is really unexpected so as Bitcoin as most trusted crypto investment in which more and more country are now supporting it then we should expect more in the future.

Bitcoin is still unpredictable and so I don’t really expect anything from Bitcoin. Don’t want to give myself high hopes because there is a possibility still that it could go down back to $6k or it could increase to $20k. But there are no assurances of which trend it will go to, and that is why I still hold on to my coins now.

You still don't understand the situation. We know already its volatility since before and we aren't new into this ups and down scheme. Even that crazy thing will happen everytime but it meant not a thing to complain and be hopeless cause we can't still be like these forever. There is the time that the market will fly high  and we have to take advantage of it.

Well we have been preaching that philosophy here, stay calm, blah blah. But you can't blame people selling though, it's just part of the whole system. Someone sells and then someone is willing to buy at that price. So as far as expecting, we have nothing to be afraid of as long as we are a long term holder. We are not bother but his short term dip, on the contrary it is better so that more money will come in the market because people wanting more bitcoins.

Exactly! That's actually it makes the market still alive and people love to see it. Well, that price inflation still is visible to the market and we can't change such a thing to happen. A lot of people believe this coin and even give trust cause we know that it is not regrettable to have this coin even we are holding for many years.

Bitcoin for sure can give a lot of good things to it's community, for day trader who keep to earn profit everyday, and in the end, long term holders will enjoy the benefit of holding Bitcoin in their investment. So no one can be blamed for that.
