Title: Afterburner - 5970 - Memory clocks lower than 500Mhz? Post by: snedie on March 30, 2011, 12:04:48 AM Can't seem to get afterburner to allow me to clock my memory lower than 500Mhz, although in CCC I can clock it down to 300Mhz (And shave 6c off my VDDC temps too).

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY!!!!! What happened is that MSIA was fucked up by the multiple GPUs (4) and profiles seemed to not work, so you have to put values that are not in the profile (ie: I put 901 core 350 mem), then once that works, I put 901 core 300 mem and it now works :) Title: Re: Afterburner - 5970 - Memory clocks lower than 500Mhz? As he says, it appears to be a problem with the profile management and changing the values to something different than the loaded profile seems to do the trick.

On my XFX6870BE core 940 mem 1150, Catalyst shows minimum memclock 1150 After burner shows minimum memclock 1150. what the eff? How can I reduce my mem clock? I am going to assume that they're could be some random bios option? [but i think it would only effect my core(pci-e engine clock override)] |
