This is amazing, bitcoin is now being promoted as a global and spendable currency. This is the first time I had came across commercial that involves bitcoin or cryptocurrency. This can actually help with mass awareness, and it can also help with mass-adaptation. Let's hope that soon, bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency will be accepted an alternate payment method since it is convenient to spend and use.

I have never thought that Bitcoin's popularity could go this far. It's being noticed and endorsed globally.
I'm sure that it will result in bigger adoptions in the future especially when huge people would see commercials like this.

A great news to give for those haters, Introducing bitcoin as a global currency is so crazy, we've gone so far now and I think there's no turning back and bitcoin have no more choice but to reach the peak and make haters a believers. don't they have a desktop version of the marketplace? i would have register already if there is. a large percentage of bitcoin users are not comfortable installing app on thier mobile phones unless its proven to have been trusted.

Good that more services are adopting bitcoin, but I agree with you, I think there should be more p2p services adopting btc as payment method and not only the middlemen ones.
Unfortunatelly it's not going to happen because most businesses won't want to take the risk of holding btcs, they prefer an intermediary to take the risks of volatility for them.

The advantages of BTC for shopping are very beneficial from all sides, such as using an exchange system in general so I think Bitplaza is nothing new but it will make other companies adopt BTC and in the future more companies will use BTC for payment. the video has only 37 seconds and I did not see something that visually is promoting bitcoin. I think you have to improve advertising accordingly. Ugh, I absolutely hate the song that's being used in that advert.
You hear it everywhere and it's just some stock song that's used in hundreds of videos.

Aside from that, this advert is going to appear on Youtube, right? I've seen dozens of similar advertisements there, nothing special really.

The app is new to the market, and it hasn't promoted well. As a beginning to the growth of bitcoin and acceptance as a currency we've got more amd more access around the globe. Earlier there is not much of commercials promoting bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies fearing legal allegations. As the support keeps growing we see the usage of bitcoin very commonly with different forms of commercials promoting the services.

This is a great idea, developing a shopping platform with Bitcoin is a form of payment that is a dream that all Bitcoiner wants. With this platform, we will answer the question of whether Bitcoin is a currency? And what does Bitcoin buy?

Good job from Bitplaza (even though the clip looks very amateur) for trying to promote BTC, but unless this goes viral or it is broadcasted on national tv, this won't help adoption as some people in this thread believe.

not always good, at least you know in advance about the prohibition of bitcoin commercials which in the end many scammers take advantage of these opportunities to take a lot of money from investors. having a commercials is good as long as there are strict regulations in this field so there is no place for scammers to be able to carry out negative activities

Surely, it's great to see that there are ads that are related to Bitcoin. It helps to promote the currency. But the problem with this commercial is the same as with a couple of others I saw before - it's not really advertising Bitcoin, it's advertising intermediary companies that work with it and can help to get you started. What I find promising is that popular culture is talking about Bitcoin more often. At first, I saw it when The Big Bang Theory basically made a whole episode about Bitcoin. Then I was recently watching "Atypical", and there were some mentions of holding money in crypto as well. The latest thing I saw was an episode of iZombie which also had a thing about Bitcoin. These kinds of mentionings familiarize people with the entity, while at the same time not promoting it directly, and certainly not involving intermediary companies.

Are you part of bitplaza? they should never stop promoting that ad. Use facebook and youtube to extend their viewership for their app and for the promotion of bitcoin as well. I really don't care anymore if someone tells me personally that bitcoin can be used for nothing, it's their opinion well but if its already mooning that would be a slap to them.

Any bitcoin commercials will be supporting a bitcoin based business and not just bitcoin.  It is tragedy of the commons, who is going to spend money on solely promoting bitcoin.  At that point you are just paying to pump other peoples bags.

If that paid ads will help with the pump of btc price, I think the demand will soon increase in numbers. Same in my country, there are only negative news about it. There are some scams that is totally not related to cryptocurrencies but were linked in crypto and bitcoin which the media is just making it a big deal. Well just like amazon it is an e-commerce. And amazon is accepting bitcoin, but not directly it can be in a form of gift cards. As I seeing some posts in this forum I found a topic says what would you want to do with bitcoin. There was a post about an e commerce and there you are. We have now.

I would prefer an LED Billboard than a Video or short commercial to be aired on national TV. Being stuck in traffic everyday leaves you no choice but to look at whats around you like those giant LED Billboards unlike watching commercials in TV, you have the choice to switch channels to avoid watching it, same goes with a pop up in any websites but still it would be great if there are more commercials about Bitcoin as it creates more awareness and reaches out more people.

In my country Bitcoin is popular that is why it became a topic on our newspaper and well-known TV news portal though i never see any commercial like the Bitplaza yet but i look forward that Bitcoin will have more adoption in the future where people prefer using it for purchasing anything online instead of credit cards.

I always thought that popularity and usage of bitcoin will be spreading much slower. Fortunately, I was wrong. Even now, when we have such a suck situation in the market, I see lots of news about accepting it in commerce throughout the world. There are still too much people who have never even heard about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, commerce is very helpful to increase people's awareness of it. So, another great news.

Getting into crypto can still be quite daunting and techy and is therefore better advertised digitally when looking at short term profit. I can see TV ads coming from somewhere looking to work toward mainstream adoption over a longer period of time, where interest/education can be generated via different media, as opposed to the big players who are probably more concerned with profit over a shorter timescale.

The ad is simple and it gives a clear understanding about the way bitcoin is getting used. The growth of bitcoin has taken place and now it has reached a level just through the word of mouth spreading. People believed the growth, the need, the solution through technology. This way people talked about the good to one another and has grown without any commercials.

What we need is more of these, to educate and promote bitcoin and the technology behind it. But I don't think that's enough, we need it to become mainstream in order for more potential investors dig in the world of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Only then we could potentially reach another all-time high and make trades more consistent. The blockchain would also grow and it may be used in various aspects such as politics, government for transparency, and my other more.

Haters might hate it further, bitcoin advertisement is all over the world, what we just need is to let them know and understand the development of bitcoin as a potential universal currency, there's no need for us to throw it to them stating that bitcoin will soon prevail (is is already given), just continue what we are doing and if they can't defeat us, they will surely join us in the future where transaction is seamless using bitcoin.

I myself try to advertise Bitcoin among all my friends and explain the advantages of cryptocurrency. Of course, many managed to bring to the cryptocurrency market. I also bought Bitcoin for 17,000-20,000 dollars. But I believe in a strong increase in the price of Bitcoin!
