As I am new to this, not very new but in comparison of all the senior members here..

what's your view on the above tokens?

I have started building my Portfolio....Please suggest some more tokens to be included, apart from BTC and ETH.... ( these two are all time favorite for anyone i guess  ;D)

No idea what xrm is but lets sssume you mean xmr monero, this is definitely one worth holding. As the top privacy coin you can guarantee demand will always exist by dark buyers and tax dodgers

im hodeling TRX for long-term ivest and keeping the tokens from the airdrops too.

XMR is one of the best for long term keeping (from my opinion) coz his untraceable.

yes, i meant xmr, and is the right time to put in funds in that? it already down, or should i wait for a little longer for me to invest?

and please tell me abt XRP too..

the first is of course BTC and ETH are required to be purchased, XRP is also a good coin because it is in position 3. TRX, XRM in my opinion it is not too good what if the two coins are exchanged with Binance or EOS for long-term investment? I think it will be very profitable. in fact everything that's is depends on your choice in investing in crypto. good luck guys.

about xrp, i have no idea with this one, i knew this coin listed as TOP 3 coins in coinmarketcap, but personally i didn't hodl this altcoin

None of them are what I'd call token of the future, they're tokens being used right now for sure. TRX I have some, and useful to get the drops of Bittorent (which I think is also quite a good one for future) but they are all rather centralized to think for a long term hodl.


Not really actually, I know a lot of Bitcoin people who really don't like ETH, myself I'm one of them. I actually only recently took some ETH but purely to speculate on, never even use it for anything unlike BTC.

Those are actually good coins to invest with. I am assuming you have already included ETH in your portfolio so you are not mentioning it here. Okay, I have some XLM and TRX and I am gonna hold them maybe until next year and see if they can use their potential to go upwards. You can also include BNB if you may. There are also many other coins worth taking a look. Just go to CMC for guidance.

We now have many coins that has recovered after the strong bearish trend that make some bitcoin haters to promote the ideas that bitcoin is dead! Coins like bitcoin cash, litecoin, binancecoin, eos and stellar has performed to my satisfaction for the past three weeks and some of them has really break the channel that limits there movement throughout November 2018 to January 2019. If I should advise you I will said that you can stick to bitcoin and ethereum and that is if you are looking for a bit stable price but if you desire to increase your level of risk then coins like litecoin,ripples, eos, binance and neo are some of the coins that are going to do well in future.

hope to see some correction again with btc picking up

I am not too sure of all the coins you mentioned above, but if you force me to own XLM it is good to be a long-term investment.
It seems like XLM has a good reputation in the market.

Seeing XRM, TRX, XLM coins for me is a coin that is good for long-term or short-term investments. Seeing the current developments so far many people like coin all of it to invest. Maybe in the future it will be better

Yeah, i agree Monero is one of the best coin to hold, but in my idea, XLM too is one of the nicest coin to hold apart from the amount of coins circulated in the market, but one thing that i always emphasized is that the liquidity requirement of a certain coin to hold, those two coins are widely traded so its easy to liquidate in case of emergency., so XLM and Monero are on my toplist.

XLM: Solid pump and dump crypto, you can make some profits if you pay attention to their dumb partnerships announcements which usually pump the price.

TRX: Same as XLM, a pump and dump coin. Justin Sun knows how to pump its price with his marketing skills, so you can definitely make some money every now and then thanks to whatever bullcrap Justin Sun tweets.

XRM: XRM as in Aerum? Shitcoin with red flags all over the place. But if you meant XMR (Monero), then I'd definitely buy it. Monero, in my opinion, is too undervalued, once people start paying attention to privacy coins, Monero will skyrocket. Good investment for the long-term.

Overall, the only coin that I'd recommend you to hodl for the long-term is XMR. XLM and TRX (and pretty much any other altcoin) are nothing but a gamble if you're going long-term.

Don't just buy/invest if you don't know about of the coin, you should have to research each of these coins in the market cap in order for you to know how important is this in the future. So far, those coins that you choose to hold might be the best to hold in a long time. But it is also better if you invest more in Bitcoin than in altcoins since the real bull run is not yet coming.

I consider them to be really good coins and has the capability to grow in the future. It will take a lot of bulls for them to get a really big price. But that is okay because they are long term coins and right now since they are cheap, we just need to keep on buying more.

XLM, it is the favourable, no doubt...for TRX i am still doubtfull, though holding it but the even by year end, i don't see very bright future, maybe 5-6% upwards

I think XLM is worth holding for the long run. TRX???? The coin is full of hype so for me it is more on a pump and dump so I don't think this coin is good to hold in the long run. XRM or maybe XMR is I think a good coin to hold for mid to long term.

TRX I know of, XLM I know of, but I know eth not XRM, but from your selection of coin, I think the coin will also be good judging from the 2 you have which are one if the greatest coin that we have in the market. There are still plenty of other reliable coins, but I can guarantee you that these ones are safe, they have very strong team with lots of development and I am sure they are all successful work in progress.

You can add them to your portfolio, but will advise that you also add any of these 3 to your portfolio if you cannot afford to make investment in all, and these 3 coins will be BNB, NEO and EOS, these ones are future guaranteed too.

You are holding the right coins. Thoses 3 coins are worth holding for a long time. XLM, TRX and XMR.

I didn't heard about XRM, what's that coin? I stopped buying and holding TRX last year I guess but I recently bought XLM lately. I don't have any reason why I bought XLM, I just did it maybe just because I want to expand and diversify a bit.

I doubt it. Ripple can have a great fall soon, more and more people need really decentralized and anonymous cryptocurrencies. TRON is a very good choice, and as I think, NEO and NEM are good for holding.

XMR one of the best for long storage  ;)

And now the price of XMR is very small, it has huge potential.

don't forget BTC and ETH.  some other coins that can be the place of investment are XRP, TRX and XLM. 
BTC and ETH for long-term investments.  and each crypto that has a high value is very good for a long investment.

These are all projects in the top 20 CMC and very potential to hold in the long term. I think you should hold the TRX and XLM for now , they are in a good price range to buy. In 2019 these two projects will also have some major updates so I think their prices will increase.

Yes, i do agree i won't bother much about the XRM, but rest of the coins like TRX, XLM, BNB, NEO, EOS, is the best one to grab when their prices start decreasing which will really help you to grab those coins in the market. Yes, these coins have very good development which will really help us to make some decent profit in the coming bull run rally.

TRX is also a perfect coin to hold as much as stellar is too, and believe me, they really have a very good product and technology and they have got the hype more than some other altcoins in the market, if bull run is to start now, TRX will surely be among the coins that will be selected by investors as good coins to invest in.

TRX might not have a very good value now, but with the continuous effort of their team to showcase their product to the word, I am very certain that very soon, the adoption rate will become high and I know that the current holders will not have any regret doing so.

I am a value investor and I believe TRX will soon pump in the future. I have participated in some Asian groups, including China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, ... and there are many traders fomo for TRX. they always discuss it and always believe in the management and development of the team.
therefore, I believe TRX is one of the altcoins capable of high pump again.

You should put in your list the coins called BNB, since you are new to this kind of industry this basic coins will make you gain enough profit to make a new investment. so you better add BNB too because of their newly introduce method of countering hacker their coins is more likely to get popular on the next pump and the price will pump too.

BNB, yes have studied it...has good prospect....i have to make a investment of atleast 2 btc for all these coins, to be divided accordingly :o

I'll go and add BNB to this portfolio, knowing how good CZ manage to increase attentions with his business, this coin still have a lots
of room to increase, and whatever you decide OP its best to undergo with your own assessment before investing your money.

from the list above there is a better BNB and OKB that might be monitored and made into coins for long-term investment. you can see how much the BNB price has increased since launching and needs to be monitored for OKB. I am sure the two coins will continue to rise

just a question to all seniors here...as the halving of Litcoin is almost here...so would be wise to wait for the halving to complete before purchasing?

after halving is done with, the price are going to be corrected again...maybe that is time to buy and hold?

XLM gives more space there the development continues to be made, I also have XLM hodl and only advice you must be to hodl DOGE ;).

TRX is still hot coin right now with massive update by Justin Tron, i think its have more opportunities to grow in the future than xlm or monero..justin always exploding something on social media.

I would never say ETH is an all time favorite for everyone! I myself only took some ETH last year, because prices were so low. And I still only bought it strictly to speculate I would never see myself as a hodler of ETH for reasons the exact same as why I only got BTC as my main play, that is, reasons of centralization and manipulation etc.

I also have TRX and XRP and these are all purely for speculation.

TRX is likely going be strong in the market as long as the developer continue with its showbiz, he is a good marketer and people love that, as for XLM and XRM, they are likely to have slow growth especially Monero because the demand for privacy seems to be going down because people seem not to care

I don't have these coins, because I don't like them much! Though TRON has better development now, so you can go for it. Otherwise, I would suggest you hold BNB coin, the best investment right now after BTC & ETH!

I remember, once TRX surged to the peak of the price at 0.00002 BTC / TRX (please correct if wrong), I think one day TRX will go back up to around 0.00002 BTC / TRX, because usually the cryptocurrency price fluctuation will not be far from the price highest ever achieved.

that is yet to be seen, but it is really funny that TRX and XLM continue to struggle even today, whereas all altcoins have shown sign of recovery with BTC crossing 8000$ threshold

It caused by the surge in the bitcoin price. As you can see now about they are not getting very big fluctuation prices of altcoins. The fact that these coins still not yet give any big update about the development progress.
This time all of altcoins are only pegged with the bitcoin bull trend.

Clearly, the last 2 days rush is mainly due to news of FB coin, and their partnership with 4 big brands, especially with master and visa cards, so guess have to wait for few more days for altcoins to digest that

In my opinion your coins are good for long-term investment choices, if I may add I like Neo and the second coin bnb is suitable for the long term but back to you which coin do you like and know about the coin.

If you're investing for the medium to long term its not ideal to purchase any tokens that may be classified as securities in the future and the best strategy would be to focus on good quality assets and avoid any that are too over hyped or speculative including XRP, BSV, and TRX for example

First, don't invest in anything until you've fully researched it yourself and are comfortable with your knowledge and understanding of the coin and its history and long-term aims. That said, here's a quick preliminary on XRP:

XRP is different to many other coins in that it is run by a single company (Ripple) who work closely with the banking industry. So a lot of people in crypto are against XRP from an ideological perspective. From a product perspective, Ripple the company are hugely successful, but there have been questions over the years about whether their products actually need the XRP coin. For me at least this has been answered and yes the coin itself plays a pivotal and irreplacable role, and I expect the value to increase sharply. One thing that I think is not in doubt is the quality of Ripple solutions. Their primary aim is to transform the international banking industry with fast cheap inter-currency transfers. They have demonstrated many times how their product is far superior to existing solutions.

There are many good and promising coins that will grow and make a profit. I can suggest you add some more good coins to your list: Litecoin (LTC), Cardano (ADA), Qtum (QTUM). I don’t have a lot of these coins, but I see their prospects, so I’m planning to buy them and increase their share in my crypto portfolio.

TRX actually pumped for abit during the previous cycle

XMR and XLM is not, these are the 2 coins that didn't really get a big movement yet

Privacy coins, and a coins that are kinda "similar" to XRP just for the different end user
No harm to include these coin in your portfolio, but not 100% of it imo

I think you should buy LTC and ADA. Did you know that just over 1 month later LTC will perform halving and that will make the price of LTC even higher in the future. It can increase to $ 180. This is one of the safest coins and brings the best profit for you at the present time. it does not have the same risks as investing in new projects.

Trust me, i have already started LTC after the halving news, and have sold TRX and and bought LTC, felt like waiting with LTC is actually worth.

In my view, XLM tokens are good for the future, because prices are very balanced compared to other tokens, but you must be careful if there is price pumping.

This one is good for trading and not for long term holding unless TRX change the way they do their marketing and focus more on development of the project.  More work less shilling.



I agree, they have proven their worth but I do not think this coins will go mainstream because of its anonymity feature.

Yeah! the type of coins above are not worth for holding long time. Since many years past they never gain much impact to investment, they are only good for short term trading. Right now we only focus on two big coins the btc and eth but suggestion to a best coin, its quite hard at this time.

i think LTC can be added in the list after btc and eth...very promising

for XLM and TRX it's a good and up-to-date project lately, in my opinion they are worthy of the future but for the XRM I have never seen it before please mention also their long names not just abbreviations because some projects have the same abbreviation

If only these tokens are discussed, then it is TRON definitely. Wait for a year or two, and you will see its flight to the Moon. I can also suggest that it is still worth investing in NEO and NEM - they are supposed to gain.

still the performance of TRX is stil disappointing, i don't know what's this coin, very stable, almost too much stable inspite of the bull rush of BTC. tired of holding, thinking of moving funds out and continuing buying LTC..

This is very tough to choose one from these three potential coins! Personally, I don't like the Monero, so it is excluded from my list! Now, I think TRX and XLM both are worthy for holding! TRX had some great development and they are continuously growing. In Forbes and Nasdaq, I read some positive articles about Stellar! So, It will be good for holding!

You don't even know what's TRON it is but you said if this coin is dissapointing. I can say TRON was be able to maintain their value when bitcoin bearish until it bullish right now.

see, some dissapointment has to be there when in this bull market, it is still maintaning it's position but not moving fwd.....dsappointing in that way...no offence...TROn was the first ever holding for me last 3 months and still holding on

I don't bother about the NEO, because this year we might see some huge developments which will help the NEO to increase it's value to the higher level.  I don't bother about the NEM, because we don't know how much potential it is generating in the market.

Don't choose only one, if possible have that 3 coins in your portfolio, they are good for long term investment as they have great potential.
The support is there, you can look at its volume and you'll see they have a good liquidity.

As you hold longer, it's also necessary to monitor the coins progress as there still risk, but compared to other coins with lower volume, guess these coins is a winning formula for long term hold.

XLM already grow many times, XRM is very stable while TRX is a good hype project.

All the privacy tokens will have a bright future. I would go with Monero for sure for a long term hold.

i dont have any of the choices above but i believe in vechain. For me, you need to be able to know what crypto you are investing your money in. You need to believe in something yourself, because our money is our responsibility, we have to perform in depth research and we need to create investment strategy in able to be successful in crypto.

Some of the above tokens have promising potential if they can innovate effectively and achieve their goals, but one of the assets you can be assured will be worth your while HODL'ing is Ethereum and it still represents great value in the current market climate

u really think, bnb is for long term? i had some doubts regarding that, but ofcourse if you look at past 2 1.5 years then yes, but so does every other coin, which is being traded in the market for last 1 year, so what makes bnb special? just asking

If I were you I will be wary of holding most of these Old tokens, some of them have been promising project and we are now in 2020 and have yet to deliver anything substantial to even justify their current standing on coinmarketcap not to talk of pumping. Most of these 2017 ICOs are going to die and make way for the new projects

Well if I have certain money and I think future holds in all the coins then will invest certain ratio in all the three coins and also it is said never to put all eggs under one basket so should not be investing or be dependent on single coins. Thus, invest or chose all the favourites coins which you think can be good for future value of these coins.
