Title: I am in need of a legit Bitcoin tumbler similar to Bit Blender
Post by: platinumsteel2016 on June 07, 2019, 12:51:49 AM
HI

As I am sure you all are aware Bit Blender is shutting down. Can anyone refer me to a similar one. That is easy to use. and provides a bitcoin
address to have the funds transfer to, then mixed, then to withdraw???
Someone referred Bitcoin Cloak, but I don't see where they provide a bitcoin address to have the funds transferred to the site, to begin with.
I need your help!!! I hope to hear from someone fairly soon.  I have heard that LE are setting up some mixing sites. Don't refer those lol!!!

Have you tried ChipMixer yet? I had a good experience with them way back in 2017 when I was dealing in buy and sell of bitcoin for a client somewhere in Europe, the site and service are excellent though this is my own personal point of view. Just try them.

See my signature. ;)

It works a bit different than other mixers, using a method that I believe is superior. Instead of withdrawing to an address, Chipmixer will give you private keys for bitcoins totaling the withdrawal amount. You can then sweep/spend them as you please. This is for better privacy protection:

Quote
After you've received private key, you can spend them right away without waiting for our transaction. But that's not all. Since your withdrawal is not visible on blockchain, it looks like your chip was moved a few days before your deposit. Time Travel! Third, less spectacular element this method gives you is that you decide when to move those coins next. Few days? Few seconds? Who knows, you are not encumbered with our solution.

Chipmixer is the one I would recommend.  I've used their service, and I wouldn't hesitate to again.  And like squatter mentioned their method of obfuscation is superior to most mixers out there.  Their trusted, reliable, and their fees are very reasonable.

And if you're looking for more alternatives to make your choice, there is a list of Bitcoin Mixers which I try to keep updated as often it needs
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827109.0 I also list the services to avoid using.

Also, you say LE is setting up some mixing sites. What/Who's LE?

"Also, you say LE is setting up some mixing sites. What/Who's LE?"     That is what I have read on The Hub some months back...

LE is an acronym for Law Enforcement or Law Enforcers. I think that's what OP was trying to mean.

Thou for sure you can't know which Mixer has been setup by LE until they gather enough evidence and finally make a surprise attack, and sieze the domain as in the case of Bestmixer.
Maybe you should check out chipmixer as suggested by some other members and try to look into wasabi wallet too. Do some reading before you transact.

I can recommend you https://[banned mixer]/ as well. They have been in the business in the last 3 years if I'm not mistaken. So you have chipmixer as others have said and this one. So you can try to used both of them and see what fits your need.

Wouldn't it also be possible to mix your Bitcoins by using Monero?
I've found this tutorial, but it's still based on using Shapeshift, since Shapeshift now requires KYC, you'd have to find another service that allows you to swap coins anonymously.

Yes, but you would need an anonymous way to exchange BTC to XMR and back again, and you would need to add in a number of intermediate transactions between XMR addresses to increase your anonymity. You also need to make sure you are hosting your own XMR wallet and routing through TOR. The anonymity this set up provides is greater than most mixers, but is much more difficult to use and use correctly for your average user. theymos made a great post about it just a few weeks ago here: [Guide] Decent mixing methods (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5146241.msg51175572#msg51175572)

As others have said above, I have frequently used ChipMixer with absolutely zero issues. Although I appreciate all the things theymos said in that post above, mixing via ChipMixer is more than enough privacy for what I (and I suspect most others) require.

In addition to the excellent recommendations (yes, I'm biased, surprise surprise), I'd also strongly recommend you to consider trying out CoinJoin using Wasabi Wallet. It's recently been awarded a bounty from theymos (among others) for their outstanding work in CoinJoin, which is a method to increase privacy not unlike tumbling.

I myself have to admit I've always been among those slow to adopt and try (native SegWit for example, and probably only because my client -- Electrum -- was one of the earliest to support it) but if you really want the best in privacy, then you have to start using as many methods as possible I believe!

BestMixer= Down
Bitblender= Shut its doors

Go for Chipmixer and i dont see any tumblers which is more reputable than on this one.

I also primarily use Chipmixer to mix my coins. The site's relatively easy to use, has all the features you'd expect from a blender and then some more. They've also been around for quite a long time and pretty reputable around these parts.

I've also begun using CoinJoin in the Wasabi wallet and it works perfectly. You do have to install the Wasabi wallet to mix, but I would highly suggest trying it out either way. Click here (https://wasabiwallet.io/#download) for a link to the Wasabi wallet site.

As I see chipmixer was suggested almost every user, yeah, this mixer is great and amazing choise for you but for variety list, I would add [banned mixer] to this list. This mixer is one of the oldest mixer and also they have confirmed that they own more than 2000 bitcoin, so don't worry about this aspect.
Otherwise for privacy, chipmixer is better but in overall, cryptomixer is good to use, similar of bitmixer.

I have read a thread about mixing services where there are several analisysts in which chipmixers is one of the mixing service that cannot be hacking by someone else or be known the user identity by someone else. Also, I bet ChipMixer is the service who deserve to get a designation as a mixing service that is very trusted. You can see many trusted members in this forum using the siganture which indicates that this service can really be recommended for someone who wants to use a mixing service. So, I'll suggest you to choose chipmixer to mix your bitcoin.

I recommend you to do coinjoin if you have more than 0.1 BTC. Mixers are great and all but if you prefer controlling your coins directly without the needs to trust third-parties then coinjoin is worth trying.
