I'm looking to make this a fairly regular thing hosting a few raffles a week if the interest is there. So for the first ever, I decided to go with a larger prize of .1 BTC. These will be standard raffles no fuss no muss, 16 spots available, take as many spots as you'd like. I will then select a winning block after the Raffle is full.

Details

• Prize - Winner will receive .1 BTC *** - Transaction fee will be paid by me.
• Cost per spot - .0068 BTC. This buys 1 spot in this Raffle
• Payment - I will provide each participant an address to send their funds to once all spots are filled. This saves on TX fees, and coordinating refunds if the Raffle doesn't fill up.
• Escrow - If by the end of the raffle the consensus is that participants would like an escrow to hold either the Prize(currently held by me) or Tickets, that can be arranged. I reserve the right to choose the escrow from this forum. Darkstar_ (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=507936), OgNasty (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18321), or minerjones (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=346731) are my preferred choices. I have not yet approached either of them about this, if they are unavailable another suitable forum escrow would be chosen. *** In this case the Escrow fee will be split between winner and myself.

How it works

• Pick your spot - Confirm it is available by reviewing the list below and previous comments. Whoever requests the spot first will receive it, subsequent posters will be given the option to select an open spot if any are remaining after going through valid claims. If you edit a post please strikethrough the original comment for clarity.
• When all spots are taken I will provide a payment address - I will sign a message here when I do so.
• I will select a future block that will be for determining the winner using the last character of the hash of that block.
  

** By selecting a spot you are committing to pay for the selected spot(s) chosen. This commitment will be for 48 hours from the time posted, in case the raffle doesn't generate interest.

Yeah I remember yours it's a shame you couldn't get more traction with the LN, it was a neat proposal that's for sure. I still haven't taken the time to learn more about it, just been a crazy few weeks. I had hoped that the larger prize for my inaugural Raffle would draw in more people, definitely a lot of looky loos.

Either way if the participants who have signed on so far are okay to wait then so am I. I do plan on launching a few other raffles possibly with more spots at cheaper prices using the last 2 characters of a block. I do have an idea for a neat novelty payout as well but I need to test somethings out first.

I'll keep this one open until 12:30 PM June 15th. If we don't get any new participants, I'll close this Raffle, and launch a new one with a different price structure; this will unfortunately add a small amount of muss maybe a little fuss.  :P

Alright well I think I'll call this one dead. We've had plenty of views but no more spot takers. I'll be setting something up this weekend. Either same prize with 32 spots or half the prize at 16 spots. Maybe some other variation.
