I have been struggling with my job. I don't like it at all but I have to continue it for some reason. With my current job, neither I'm satisfied nor I'm happy with my personal life (I have to live far away from my family). I am serving this company for the last 3 years.
I can't lead my own way of life, I can't enjoy myself. In other words, I am not happy at my own definition of "Happiness".
What's important to you?
A job which pay a fixed salary at the end of month, no matter what you are sacrificing for that job?
Or, happiness by your own definition?

What's important to me is my own definition of happiness. Why? Because it reveals your true self making your every happiness genuine. I think you are not defining your own happiness here. And also, somebody may find having a job with fixed salary as their own definition of happiness. How can you say its your definition of "happiness" when you say you are not happy? You're missing some point here, or am I. I think you're just confused. Mistaking something as your happiness where in fact, it doesn't really make you happy. You need to reevaluate some things, make time for yourself to think. Or maybe try to do the things you love or you can try new things. That may help you find which really makes you happy.

I think we have all find ourselves in circumstances that didn't make us happy. Feeling trapped by a job, and feeling alone is a real thing and and its good to be aware of how unhappy a situations make us.

That's the beginning of being able to change it into something else.

What I have found is that when I am most unhappy, is when I am stressed to the point of exhaustion. 

Resting is vital to our ability to relax. The more we can relax, the more solutions can occur to us. And just feeling relaxed makes us more fulfilled so we get a little happier.

How to relax? Some of us go immediately to what ever addictions we have. I won't list them..pick your poison.. But  addictions don't really help us relax at all.

Resting, getting enough sleep is important but if you're depressed and isolated, get out and meet people in the real world.  Find a group of ones interest. 

But I know sometimes that's not all that easy either to get that motivated.

If that seem to hard for me to do then I take a walk at the beach. Or just sit  there looking at the ocean. This is much better. It becomes a mediation and gives me space for new thoughts and ideas to come in.

Any useful repetitive task, can produce a meditative state,  like cleaning, or playing a musical instrument or singing, knitting, drawing, painting, dancing, even writing. But if you write all day long maybe do something else.

The beach or nature allows me to empty my mind. Or to go to a good movie.

The bottom line is when you're alone you do have to learn to become your own best friend.  And indeed if even if you're living with a pack of people,  family or otherwise, we still have to learn how to be a good friend to ourselves,  and not forget to ask..
"What makes me happy?
And what can I do right now to make me happy?"

If you are a single and just working to help your parents and siblings then maybe I can say that you can choose happiness from other form of works.but if you have own family then that’s a different thing because for me our children’s and wife is our happiness and since we are working to make them happy we have no need to find other job unless you are not paying well

If you can be able to find a job near your family even the salary is little bit lower then you should accept that job offer because we all are earning money to live happily so making money by sacrificing that happiness it too bad.

But some people like to do be alone and I am that kind of person because I feel to alone even with the familty so its better to be alone and live the life i the way we want to be.

If you are not satisfied with your job, then you should think that what is thing you wanna do?
First thing, you don't like your this type of job, or you don't want to do job.
May be you don't like your job, because you have less salary, that's why you wanna change.
Or may be you have no skills to do job, you wanna start your business and you have no more money, that's why you are frustrated.
But i suggest you, don't blame your life, be satisfied whatever you have.
Actually, happiness is our choice, we could live in a less salary if our heart and mind decide it.

Living without any disaster is most happiest moments happening time in your life and I think no one will be in this situation for long time that's why we long for your happiness again and again when the disaster for the sorrow things happening in our life otherwise everyone need to face all the situation in different times

The family is most important of our lives we can do anything to them give fulfillness, sometimes we need to sacrifice of our own happiness because for me family is my happiness. Both are important for me job and family because without job i can give to them their daily needs but if talking need to choose job or family i choose family.

Be in control of what happens around me is more important to me than anything in life because my life and happiness depend on that. Remaining in the job that makes you unhappy is the worst life to live. We live to be happy and if you are not happy about the day today things you do then why living? It is important that we sacrifice everything in life for happiness.

To me, happiness is most important. Money does not buy happiness, but it certainly helps a lot. You can change your attitude and try to be better and happier in the job and situation you dont like to try and tolerate it better. Keep trying to find something better that you will be happier doing, but your attitude can be adjusted to assist you while you find that place.

The goal is to find what you love to do, and see if you can find a job doing what you love. If there is none, sometimes you have to invent one, which is hard, but can pay off bigtime if you get it right.

At present, the path of income is very difficult. I think the way to earning a permanent income is currently in many challenges.

Happiness and your family is the most important to your life time

For me, my subscribers are important. In the 21st century, the Internet provides an opportunity to become popular and earn big money without having special talents and special skills. There are over 1 million subscribers on my YouTube channel and I love them! I regularly make cool videos, edit them with imovie for windows (https://www.imoviewindows.com) and publish on my YouTube channel. For me, this is the most important and valuable in my life!

Well I am not saying go and resign to your job.What will I say is find another job tjat fixed you to be happy.apply to other company while your still working find a job that you think you will be happy.
And we know that job is important in our life this is to be able to survive. It is also important that we are happy in doing such a thing for our lives.there is a lot of things that are important.job,family, love ones are so important to us and thinking all of thos should makes you feel happy.

Exactly, family is always first, without family we can die. Our family is important for us then we have a courage to achieve something and do work. In life, mostly people are not satisfied with their life, actually we should see may be we are wrong and may be we have some bad habits that's why we can't satisfied with our life.   

Family is more important things, and the second is my friends or maybe some friends we call bestfriend. Cause a lot of people in this world just pretend to be good in front of us but actually they didn't. Be aware to fake people and keep your circle small :)

Life is not fair. I'm more willing to sacrifice for my family though. So I don't care if my job sucks or if I work far away from them. At the end of the day, if you can make them happy then I'm fine with it. Of course, we all wanted to to be happy but as I have said, we always need to sacrifice something in our life.

The most important thing is to be happy of course. Working with a stable income is good, but if the family falls apart because of this, is it worth it? The salary will remain with you, but what will you spend it on?

Not only me but also everyone who live in this world needs the food without the food no one will survive so in my life food play an important role and it is the most necessary thing in my life.

Maybe you can do it one step at a time. Happiness can't be achieved in one night, right. If it can then it's not true happiness. You have to work for it. Who says it will be easier than your day job?
You can start by taking a small time in your weekend or at night, start doing the project you love and makes you happy. Take it serious gradually. Look for how can you make this hobby profitable for you. It may bring you a little adventurous feeling you know like you have a secret project behind your day job. A little spark of joy you can remember when you burn out at the office. Don't think that your current job is all wasted. There are always some skills that you get from it. You have survived for 3 years!
Changes do not always happen in the blink of an eye. Along with the process, you will find out what is best for you.

i think the important in life is family, because family can make us smile, happy and make us keep spirit, so just share the problem to the our family than we can face a problem without problem.

The better society lives the better you live so it's very worth to help others and create connection

more than the income there is lots of things are important for me in my life when we get the income as we used to to expense it for our life and our family so that more than anything I enjoy my life with my family

I think the more important in my life is me because I need to live for long time this is my expectation from everyone so if we live happily only e then we had to give the happiness to others that is my opinion.

the most important in my life is doing the proper work for my life to settle because without the money nothing will be happy for me and the society will not accept a person without why that's why I need to increase my income for a month that is my only goal right now.

Well for me the most important is my own happiness , and it is in my family . We need a job to sustain our daily needs and the needs of our family for them to live at ease , but too much sacrificing for job and you cannot lead your own way of life is a life wasting even if that is the reason for you to feed your family , happiness is important whether your job is too difficult for you to handle or it is an easy job , you should make your life happy.

This is a replica of what am facing. Is very annoying even the pay can't even sustain my daily needs. Am just managing to keep my self moving. I have been in crpyto world for over 2yrs but it didn't Favour me. I have been doing series of bounty if I can get myself a reasonable amount of money to start a business but luck is not on my side

There is no place or side of the life that doesn't involve work. Even if you want to live your own life, you still have to work for yourself and start a business, and to be honest, it could take a harder work to start and run your own business, than what it takes to work for some other company and get a fixed salary.

But it is still better to start your own business and work for yourself in any way think of it. First, there is a happiness that comes with working for yourself, owning the business. Second, you don't get fired or retire. Third, there is no limit to your salary or earnings. You can take it to any height you want.

So if you're are this type of person, that don't like his day job, I suggest you start your own business today. Not tomorrow. Start now.  8)

I believe it is Water who’s most the people need than foods?we can survive  months without food but not without water(but I don’t know from those who lives in the sand if they can survive without water)so it’s water you should choose not food

But for me it’s my family who’s most important we will starved together and thirsty but I valued them more than anything

You're family or your loved ones are important. But it's also important to make time for yourself and give yourself time to discover what you like to do. What field, area, career, hobby, etc...makes you enthusiastic and passionate. Then if you have a good family, they will support you in that. And you can support their interests.  That's happiness.

If they don't support it and it's reasonable, there has to be some communication and compromise until things are worked out. Everybody has a different soul contract, and some people do sacrifice more than others because they feel they must. But we have to listen to ourselves too and decide what's right for us, and we are the only ones that can so that. And nobody else will, for sure!

Lol, I think you both are lover of food and water, But i agree with you, that WATER is most important for every living things, without water we could die with 3 or 4 days. But we know that we all have water and food, then what will be next thing is missing in our life? Money or Happiness?

Whats important in my life is my family. Im a breadwinner so I need to provide for them. Even though Im stuck in a job that I dont like, I need to suck it up coz I need to provide for them. That all there is in my mind. I need to give them what they needed.

I think family seems to do it for most people. I am seriously considering to start a family..

I think the most important is choosing happiness by your own definition, yes you may feed your family, pay your bills then get promoted but happiness isn't t this if you don't feel the contentment and the competitiveness and the freedom of being a real human. You're just isolating yourself with the things you know the society will like and will appreciate. The real happiness is the one the feeds our soul, the one that makes us not want to sleep anymore because we're too busy enjoying the things we are currently doing.

Money can bring everything but cannot buy happiness (I mean true happiness and not those things that can be bought by money)I prefer love is most important that Money and happiness mate.thats what I think is next to food and water ..though that’s only my own opinion mate and I’ll respect whatever you guys have

Happiness is what makes my life worth living and that's the most important part of my life after this I will choose love,its the only reason i keep on fighting hard everyday to accomplish my dreams

Do what makes you happy. Job is necessary to sustain the needs of your family but if you're not happy with your job then better find another thats best suits you wherein you can enjoy what you do while earning at the same time.

Happiness is a choice and its up to us if we're going to be happy by finding the reason to do so or stressing ourselves in things that can make us sick.

I'll care more about what I want and the definition of happiness I have. I have been with few companies that I've worked with since my entire life. To those that I've left mostly because of relocation and there's this one company that I've left because I'm not happy anymore with the entire position.

It's like I've been doing all the tasks that should require 3-4 persons that made my lifestyle imbalance and I can't perform well anymore that's why I have to leave that because it made me unhappy and plus the commute that's daily consuming a lot of time. There will be the right time that you will work happily and you have time for yourself and family as well which I've chosen that path.

I care more about my happines but without neglecting my responsibilities.
I have been in a position where I hate my job. I can't work well and optimizing myself. I feel that what I'm doing doesn't fulfill my purpose. But I need the job for my living. So, I start to understand myself what will make me happy, and is there something I can do with it to earn money. It's not easy. I have bumped into walls. But that's my definition of happiness, to working in something I enjoy.
It's not just about passion. It is not a passion if you don't create something. You are lucky if you find a passion that could earn you money.

The ultimate dream is to love what you do, but most people don't like their jobs and would quickly quit if they won lottery. I don't like my job either and I am unhappy in it, but I must continue in it because I have bills to pay and mouths to feed.

For me the more important in my life is happiness, it is very important for us to became happy, we all know that living in this world is not easy, there are so many problem but we stil need to think positive and be happy so we can able to survive the world of full of challenges in life.

If I were you, the thing I would do is to quit that job if the job already feels suffocating and you don't feel happy anymore with what you're doing. Let the company know what you're feeling so they won't feel betrayed if you decided to quit, if the company treated you well then they deserve the truth and explanation. Happiness isn't measure based on how long you've been doing that, it's all about the feeling.

I don't think that both options are viable.
You have to find a balance between those two, however I am not sure if this is possible when you work on a 9-5 job. I have a same situation like you where I don't like my job and I feel a lot of anxious after ending the working day.
