Many says that 2019 is the year of crypto and I'm agree with them. During this year so many countries implemented it into its structure, so many universities started to provide courses with crypto education and so many giants started using it showing how it possible to simplify the work. I think we are facing a new revolution , hope it won't work against us

Many also says that each year is the year of crypto. You may disagree and argue with me but 2018 is still a year of crypto because it was the best accumulation period, the best year if you are looking for long term in crypto.

Those Universities that offers blockchain courses, they see that this industry is growing and it can't be stopped and they also includes basic crypto education inside those courses, I guess.

I agree with you. Every year is a year for crypto and there are just changes that we have to deal with yearly. If the price is low, it doesn't mean that it isn't the best year for crypto. What important is there are adaptions and developments being implemented. The fact that crypto is being recognized is already a huge event in crypto world.

Unfortunately, I can not agree with you because I do not see the global implementation of the blockchain in the world. Yes, of course, many large companies and even government agencies are exploring the possibility of using the blockchain in various areas of government, but for now this is all local and scarce. I think also a forex school started to teach cryptocurrency since it's more like the same as the forex trading the only difference is that the market in cryptocurrency is really volatile but the concept and analysis is almost the same according to the adviser of forex I've talked to a few weeks ago.

Let's hope that some university open a course for trading not just for cryptocurrency but as well as forex trading.

Many can agree with what they said that this year is the year for the crypto to boom again but at the same time, many can disagree.

What I'm saying is, it can boom this year but at the same time it can be a bust but what is important is there is a new technology that is slowly improving and slowly  adopting by the people. I don't care if this year is a boom or bust for crypto.

It is the first quarter of New Year 2019, and we can already see the rising trends of different cryptocurrencies in the blockchain industry. 2019 is going to be the year which is set to change the picture from bearish to bullish.

Crypto is a technology that exist in this world and i believe that the year when crypto start is its year until now and i am very happy for its existence specially for this year because many universities implement crypto for education and every year crypto become more popular. Every year since it was created Bitcoin is making progress and some new developments are happening so based on that every year could be called the year of crypto.
The previous and this one are maybe the most important because of regulation efforts and acceptance in some new countries but in general to my opinion the true year of crypto, at least for Bitcoin, was 2017.

every year has been the year of bitcoin for many years now and each year people make the same statements as OP calling it the "year of crypto" and then the result is a big wave of new altcoins being created to get big pumps for a short time before they die and go away after a couple of months. i'd say their damage to the whole system is a lot more than anything else imaginable. and in fact they may even slow down bitcoin's growth!

I am not sure if I agree with you on this, because we have not seen any huge shifts in the market or any major retailer accepting Bitcoin. The approval for institutional capital has been stalled since last year, so there is nothing to get excited about so far.  ::)

We have seen much better years before 2019, so something big should happen before the end of the year to make this one of the best years we ever had. Let's hope we can see a repeat of 2017 and a price explosion towards the end of 2019.  ::)

We must consider every year a great year for cryptocurrency since there are improvements and survival from all uncertain circumstances and trials in crypto world. We have seen how cryptocurrency have gone so far through years and I believe that it will continue to survive and succeed in the coming years.

I believe that the growth we achieved in the last months were just a part of a plan for the race to $50k and $100k value of bitcoin in 2019. Because when I think about it, people got attracted again to buy btc but they will want more and I don't know if the IEO's success is a coincidence but for me it definitely was. It is again a huge factor to make people spend their money on the digital assets because they all see that they can profit again just like 2017.

2018 and 2019 are both the best year in cryptocurrency history. Because a lot of implementations happen and a lot of adoption of taking place. People realize that digital cryptocurrencies can be the future. And this is also the year when India is planning to ban cryptocurrency. This is also here when binance got hacked. There is always good and bad on every year but still visa the year where we have seen the best price with most population in the entire Bitcoin history.

you probably meant Blockchain Education. block chain course is now available in some universities such as MIT and Oxford but most
of this universities that offers this course are doing it online.

I think 2016 and 2017 were the best years. 2016 I was collecting bitcoin and we were all earning from varies places and wonderful bounty campaigns. 2017 is when that boom happened and bitcoin went completely crazy.

Exactly. Down to regulations and giving our personal info. The authorities and government should have nothing to do with our currency.

Every year is a crypto opportunity to grow, specially that everyone in our society not know much about it. what we could do now continue to use and support crypto and implement crypto everywhere...  I suggest to the new blood must dyor to understand what is the motion of crypto.

In the year crypto market recently  proof that 2018 better than 2019. bitcoin future is fresh and awesome. i wish bitcoin rapidly increasing 9000$ of piece in the year. so good luck for bitcoin.

In my perception, it is not the year of crypto although 2019 has not yet over. For me, its just a year of market's recovery from a bearish market. I hope to see more increasing prices of crypto this year, bitcoin and ethereum showing some good increasing price but some altcoins are not. Maybe bull run would be possible around couple of years by now if bitcoin and ethereum pumps up continuously.

A lot of hope has been accumulated with the development of crypto since 2018 which at that time experienced distrust and pessimism about the development of crypto, not yet added to the growing number of new projects which were actually scams. with the move towards being good with bitcoin, it is hoped that it will have an impact on crypto. I hope this 2019 can be repeated when it once triumphed in 2017, we are just waiting for the good news.

2018 was the year of infrastructure building and 2019 is the year of institutions stepping into this arena. We have Fidelity and Bakkt entering the market soon, and more fiat onramps are available. Coinbase continues to grow along with its transaction volume. I'd like to see more progress with the Lightning Network, but the upcoming halving is bringing a bullish atmosphere in any case. 

Slowly but surely crypto is becoming mainstream globally.

I also agree that this year can be a year for crypto but the main problem is that people who buy on bull run on 2017 still wait for a new high price for Bitcoin and maybe for altcoins so they can get a profit, and i really don't know if they will get a profit this year, but maybe they have a chance on Q4 2019.

2019 Years of crypto? I will say not fully. I think this is still the beginning and new will continue to grow through education, and daily life with the development of technology that continues to advance. How many countries have supported cryptocurrency growth or development to date?

Your initial words that 2019 is the crypto year, maybe it can be interpreted that there has been a long-standing crypto revival since 2018 that no movement has led to improvement. but with bitcoin going up and moving in a positive direction, it could be that in 2019 there will be a change from the positive direction movement for crypto. indeed, many countries have recognized and supported crypto growth, but there are still many obstacles in developing countries.

I think the year of 2019 is the year of crypto-recovery. It is obvious that the market is now in the stage of recovery and structures involving cryptocurrency is just starting this year and for sure there will be a lot of business offering in  2020 that involves cryptocurrency.
2019 gives a cryptocurrency a chance to prove itself again to many people around the world who are observing and it definitely not fail them. Something bigger coming in the next year.  :)

If we compare 2018 with 2019 then there is really interesting things going around this year and little by little everybody is implementing blockchain into everyday life currently . Lets see what facebook will have to offer and then probably other big companies will follow them

Half of the year is gone almost but there are no huge price spikes on charts which indicates a bull market. The alt season also has not started yet, altcoins are down 10 x times from all-time high levels. Even a 10 % increase in prices makes us happy but it is not realte4d to the bull market.

So based on these you have come to a conclusion that crypto currencies will rise this year? Come to think of it. These were just recently initiated. There are lots of development needed. We are still in the infant stage. During this stage we can never expect the price of the crypto currencies to reach its peak point. Everybody is anticipating for the market to raise but guessing for this year to be the year is just of no use. Back in 2018 this this issue comes up of thinking 2018 it will raise back but it was a wrong guess. Market is actually moving this day but lest just sit back and watch.

Well i see that yhe crypto is now slowly rising from the very huge dip last year 2018. So i believe that year 2019 is really a great year for crypto maybe bull run will occur or maybe take its place this year so i think we need to prepare for it we need to buy more coins and hold it for good.

If you look closely, this phrase "a year of crypto" can mean anything - a year of userbase growth, a year of price growth, a year of technological advancement, or even all of that. We are currently experiencing a bull run (some people argue that it's a trap), and Bitcoin keeps getting improvements, and amount of transactions increases, so can we say that it's the year of crypto? I don't think so, because so far it's nothing spectacular, the last year of crypto was 2017, when we reached ATH, and everyone were talking about crypto, even national television channels.

Well, I agree with you because we are just a midway in 2019 and the market indications are good for crypro. At least, the long bear period has ended and what looks like a bull market seems approaching.

You do see this sediment every year from the crypto community because they want to keep optimistic on the future of the assets they hold of whatever coin it is they are holding. What other choice would they have not too? :-\
Even with mcafee saying it will reach $100k by end of the year is a far fetched prediction but he believes in it in which he will sacrifice his own male anatomy to proof it to be true. But he is a gambler so of course he would double down on the actual acceptable price some think it could reach but not this year.
Maybe in the year 2020 when there are more invested into it such as greyscale who wants people to trade their gold and get into crypto gets more known on a global scale. ;D
