Title: Stake your flags here if you dont want to start everytime an Topic !
Post by: Lafu on June 12, 2019, 01:40:17 PM
This thread should be for Users that dont want to start for every Flag a new thread !
Also it would be good to have all Flags in one Topic and it can be used for everybody as an reference too .

I will use this thread for my flags when i doing some in the future too!

If you post your Flag here be sure insert all the Information in your Post !

Account Name you want to Flag :

Reason why you doing the Flag :

Flag Link :

Be aware that created Flags cant be deleted.

If you need Support for your Flag you can post an Request here at LoyceV's (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=459836)  thread Request support for Flags here! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153445.0)

For contractual violations only, a scammer flag can be created. This is the only thing which causes the "Warning: trade with extreme caution" warning to return. It also triggers a banner similar to the newbie-warning banner which is visible to all users. A scammer flag requires 3 more supporting users than opposing users to become active.

A new scammer flag should be created for each separate alleged incident. In the spirit of forgiveness/redemption, scammer flags expire 3 years after the incident if the contract was casual/implied, and 10 years after the incident if the contract was written. These expiration times might be administratively changed in specific cases.

Creating or supporting a scammer flag is actively affirming a set of pretty clear fact-statements. If someone knowingly supports a flag containing incorrect fact-statements, then that is crystal-clear abuse, and I will seek to have such people removed from DT ASAP. People who are habitually wrong, even not knowingly, should also be removed.

Hope this helps to overview all the coming Flags and it can be used as Archive also !
Feel free to post in here!

I think there should be a unique thread for every incident. If there are two (or more) people involved in scamming as part of a single incident, it might be okay to use a single thread, but one generic thread for many unrelated incidents is not okay according to my reading of the intent of how the system is supposed to work.

For sure its everyones opinion how to do it . This should be just an thread for Users that dont want to make everytime an new thread , because i know there will be some Users that will doing a lot of them!
Also this thread can be used for normal Flags , and I will use it for mine too !
Its just suggestion for maybe have all in one thread and this would be makes some research for things laters easyer i guess.
But everybody can do it how he want it. There will be for sure some Users they dont know how things are should be done .
And there are a few things that still are confusing and we dont know how to use it at special cases.

And as theymos have written we can do some kind of thread !

Can we use a community thread for flagging potential scammers? I ask because it says you can create 1 thread if you tag flag many users, or can this be a simple thread that states I flag people for these reasons and leave it at that.
Yes, but make sure that if someone goes there, it's clear what the flag is about.
Scammer flags should usually each have distinct topics.

It is or was just an Idea for makes things a bit eayser .

Can you add this Flag Link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=210 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=210) to the thread ?

Because i have flaged the User after i have written in the spambuster thread with the Malware Links and i insert the Link to the post i have done there ,but it looks like post links dosnt work on the flag links !

Maybe i write a global mod or theymos if he can edit it !

I think it will do the job for those flag that need a reference thread but they don't have ;)

Just give me a link to that post and I'll archive it

I think better make separate thread for flags. Especially for new red flags, so more explanation would be added OP and it would draw attention from multiple user/DT's. For old tag could create new flags those are likely scam. For example I could create from my trust page which user likely scam. All flags link could post at on single thread.

Title: Re: Stake your flags here if you dont want to start everytime an Topic !
Post by: Steamtyme on June 16, 2019, 02:35:37 PM
The idea behind a communal page for flags really only applies to the "Newbie warning Flag". The best example I can give is a lot of us tag locked/self mod sales topics. These generally don't need a further explanation than that and why you believe those topics are potentially harmful. So it makes sense to point all flags that fit in that category to that thread, and you can post there any additional reasons if you feel the need to do so.

The thread I created has had a few additions, and if there was a scam accusation against one of the people I was flagging I PM the scammed party to open a Scam Flag. I also note it next to the flagged users name in my list.

All contract violation tags should have an acompanying scam accusation thread created or a good reference thread that shows the violation occurring.

The only problem i got was that the post link i have done on the second flag i have done , dosnt work and it just takes the Topic link and not the post link !
I have written to theymos about the problem and on this case if he can edit the link !

Title: Re: Stake your flags here if you dont want to start everytime an Topic !
Post by: Steamtyme on June 16, 2019, 02:46:16 PM
To solve that I would edit your OP - At the top write " Link to nikkybtc flag information in this thread - wrong message link copied] then finish it off with this leaving the remainder of the OP untouched.

This way the link still works in theory. Someone could also recreate the flag (for lacking information - not really but it could be argued because of the link) if you and micgoosens remove your support, but that's probably unnecessary.

Dear Mr. yanoaziz, link you posted and which was reported to moderator is not the link to github.

I couldn't download zip file because I got warning that malicious file is inside and as I already said domain is flagged as malicious - which scan shows. I have learned that it is not good to be too curious when malware is in question, especially nowadays when scambies are spamming altcoin section with infected wallets.

Hello yanoaziz ,

First as marlboroza has written you created an  ANN with an Download link from bitbucket as we got lately a lot from them and its knowen that the most of them has Malware in it !
The download link for the wallet is and was diffrent from the orginal github download link and it got Malware in it !
Next thing is you posted arabic in the English board !
So you write that you know that Malware was on the link and you created the Ann anyway !

That kind of behave is a no go !

And just for example when you has posted that on Topia in the past for sure i have you banned after that , anyway Cryptopia has nothing to do with this forum or you known me from there !

I believe yanoaziz said that they downloaded wallet from github which they claim it doesn't contain malicious file but they didn't check wallet which was in translated thread:

first I want to apologise for anyone how is infected by the Malware link on my translation ann.
to give you my argument that it was a mistake I will show you how I make the translation.
first, I copy a quote of the English ann. and after that, I translate all English sentence with reading all link published (not all the time).
if you think that I am telling the truth, plz visit https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1098685 and delete ( -2) point that you give me.
I hope that you understand my situation.@marlboroza @Lafu.

We are not talking about the Translation ! Guess the translation was good but i cant realy say it but i think it was !

We are talking about an Link to an Malware infected Wallet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And normaly when you doing an translation and you see that on the Post or Ann it says "  the  link is from Github  "

and you make the translation and see that the inserted link realy is  " bitbucket . org/i2crypt/ " then it should be suspicious or ?

Just to show you how many they have done in the last days /weeks :
Code:
//bitbucket . org/astingl/resqchain/downloads/
//bitbucket . org/astingl/jmcminer/downloads/
//bitbucket . org/i2crypt/cryptomiles/downloads/
//bitbucket . org/severokproject/severok/downloads/
//bitbucket . org/astingl/yllineum/downloads/
//bitbucket . org/taonacoin/taonaproject/downloads/
//bitbucket . org/Deviljoes/deviljoe/downloads/
//bitbucket . org/astingl/new-jerusalem/downloads/
//bitbucket . org/Creang/breand/downloads/
//bitbucket . org/i2crypt/vapex/downloads/
//raw.githubusercontent . com/Fyd-Coin/Wallet-Release/master/
//raw.githubusercontent . com/Release-Z/wallet-core/master/

And all this links everytime hide on that link you read !
And they all full with the same Malware !

You need very good reason to post link to malicious file and translation isn't one.

Does anyone have the original (apparently malicious) file ?

AV engines often create wrong positives.

I'd like to check the files myself if there is no proof yet, that they are indeed malicious.

Created FAKE ANNS from already existing Original ANNs where the Downlink for the Wallets is from github and has no dedection ,
and when you look at the Fake ANNs download link for the Wallets thats diffrent from the Original ANN and there you find a Malware dedection isnt an proof ?
All was tested with VirusTotal and the Originals links never has an dedection but the links to bitbucket or others from the Fake ANNs has got and it was always the same Malware and all download links from the Fake ANNS that was created for diffrent coins was everytime the same link !!!!!!!

Search for the files and you will find them !

Most probably this is malware, yes.
It is already a scam and deserves a flag. But i'd still like to check the files myself to investigate HTTP requests etc.. We might find the website / C&C server of him too.

The bitbucket link seems to be down. That is the reason i asked whether someone still has access to the file.

1- let's discuss this problem
   what mean negative trust:
 that you believe that anyone dealing with me is at a high risk of losing money, and guests would be well-advised to avoid doing so. This determination is based on concrete red flags which any knowledgeable & reasonable forum user should agree with, and it is not based on the user's opinions.
answer
 but I am just a translator.
 to translate an ANN and be the same as the original you need to take a Quote and translate.
 I didn't verify the like! maybe yes. maybe I was tired.
so I make this mistake  :-[
2- what is the solution to delete this negative trust?
3- what I can a do for all user's how gives me these negative opinions?

You can't.

I lose all my stake for signature bounty. by this simple mistake

Mistake? Since when is changing links pointing towards malware in a translation a 'mistake' ?

I lose my a livelihood.

Then you should start searching for a real job.

You are not 'just a translator'. You intentionally changed the URL to point towards a malicious executable.

This has nothing to do with a 'mistake' or with 'being tired'. Uploading malware and changing the links in an ANN thread does not happen on accident.,

Your client could probably even give you a red flag (violating a contract) for this. There are a lot of wannabe-lawyer here who would eat you alive once the flag is created.

Obviously, yes.

This has nothing to do with your status on this forum. This is not a 'forum-thing'.

Please explain the following:
  • Original ANN (which you translated) does not contain a malicious link
  • Your (translated) ANN has a malicious link instead of the original one

Yes, that is exactly what I think.

This moron has actually sent me PM to remove negative because he wants to join signature bounty. Who gives a shit about you joining a signature campaign. You are responsible for links you share, I don't care if you did not check them because of your greed to get some fake tokens. GTFO you idiot.

Supported. I am not sure who gave these random accounts idea to ask non collateral loan(note - I don't think bitcointalk account is valid collateral due the fact that many scammers took loan giving accounts as collateral and run away after).

Here's a new scammer flag, would be nice if we get enough support:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=454

Reference topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5163466.0

Finally we found someone who was actually scammed by them to create a scammer flag type 3. I hope we can get enough support that the team changes its mind and pays bounty participants in BTC or ETH instead for the work they have done.
