Title: RIP Tony Benn Post by: practicaldreamer on March 14, 2014, 01:06:12 PM Very sad to hear this morning about the death of Tony Benn.
I saw him speak in 1984 during the Miners Strike and have always admired him. He was a true intellectual - and had wit and charm on top of that. He was a man of principle and a believer in the rights of the common man and social justice. Most of all, he was thoroughly likeable and I'm sad he's gone. The world is a little worse off today with his passing. Title: Re: RIP Tony Benn Post by: bittyweb on March 14, 2014, 04:55:36 PM RIP.
