I have a $299.99 Best Buy Gift Card from an exchange I made at the store.

Just curious.  Why was there no CA sales tax added to your return/credit?  BB charges tax everywhere.  Seems strange. Tax is always refunded or credited.

Because it was a no receipt return, therefore I was given the exact amount of the item.

Sounds fishy.. Sales tax is always returned in CA (or anywhere) with or without a receipt.  Hard to believe BB isn't aware of that.    If anyone intends on buying this make sure you use FORUM TRUSTED ESCROW to protect yourself.
