Title: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] (in deceding order) Post by: LoyceV on June 12, 2019, 10:23:22 PM Earlier today:
We need a log for all the flag activity now, all the created flags + those who support or oppose them. If Vod doesn't beat me to it, I'll cook something up when I have time. With the unexpected Flag drama, I didn't want to wait. This is just a quick job, and I have to get up early, so I'll improve it later. Trust Flag viewer See loyce.club/trust/flags/ (http://loyce.club/trust/flags/?C=M;O=D) and click the latest version. Use CTRL-F to find the usernames. New: (Support | Oppose) Because of Flag spammers (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153445.msg53680508#msg53680508), I've added quick links to (Support (http://) | Oppose (http://)) Flags. New: Descending order Starting January 22, 2020 (http://loyce.club/trust/flags/245.html), my Trust Flag viewer is now in descending order (newest Flags first). New: Add comments to Trust Flags You can now add comments to my Trust Flag viewer, see Post here to add comments to LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193695.0). New: Highlightning non-existent Reference topics I've added a bold red "Reference topic does not exist" warning to Flags without a valid Reference link. Even if those Flags are justified, they shouldn't be supported. But you can create a new topic in Reputation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0) or Scam Accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0) to create a correct Flag. Don't use a scammer's own topic as Reference link, if the topic gets removed, the Reference is gone. New: BBCode I've added a link with BBCode to the latest version. This makes it very easy to list Flags on the forum. Personal Trust Flag viewer Click any username to see all Flags created/supported/opposed by that user or created against that user. This page is updated daily, I don't keep old records. Updates I'll do daily updates (sometimes more often), and keep old records. Disclaimer I'm don't know all possible text-formats yet, so a new Flag type might not scrape properly. Bugs I fixed most of the bugs, if you find more, let me know :) If it says "Loyce Fix This", something went wrong :P To do Use smaller font when only non-DT-members responded. >> I think this is fixed. New bug: sometimes the smaller font is used for DT-members too. See [overview] LoyceV's useful data on Bitcointalk (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5145594.0) for more of my forum-related topics Title: Re: [Beta] LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer Post by: redsn0w on June 12, 2019, 10:29:44 PM Quote 58 Active. LFC_Bitcoin flagged YoBit (see why). Supported by Vod, Lauda, TheNewAnon135246, suchmoon, LFC_Bitcoin, redsn0w, mindrust, Lafu, LeGaulois, TheUltraElite, Hhampuz, micgoossens, coinlocket$, morvillz7z, iwantapony, Findingnemo. Opposed by nobody. I don't think I supported that flag or maybe I did but I don't remember (let me check again). I can see only the number 57 & 48 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=406594) that are currently active. Title: Re: [Beta] LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer Post by: Last of the V8s on June 12, 2019, 11:15:06 PM Good lord where did they all come from? So many already ::) No rest for the wicked now.
As ever with these things, thank you so much, LoyceV. Title: Re: [Beta] LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer Post by: BitcoinGirl.Club on June 13, 2019, 07:27:14 AM Trust Flag viewer A descending order will be nice. That way we can start looking from the latest flag. Imagine having thousands of flags, in the current order the visitor will need to scroll down all the way to the bottom.See loyce.club/trust/flags/1.html (http://loyce.club/trust/flags/1.html) Use CTRL-F to find the usernames. Thanks for the project. Title: Re: [Beta] LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer Post by: LoyceV on June 13, 2019, 09:16:47 AM I've fixed most of the bugs, it should be okay to use now. The "next" button links to a 404 error when you're on the last page.
A descending order will be nice. That way we can start looking from the latest flag. Imagine having thousands of flags, in the current order the visitor will need to scroll down all the way to the bottom. I'll think about it when the list gets much longer.Title: Re: [Beta] LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer Post by: o_e_l_e_o on June 13, 2019, 09:22:29 AM Great work as usual Loyce, thanks.
In addition to a descending order, I think it would also be useful to list the name of the accused first, rather than the name of the accuser. When looking through the (upcoming) categories of type 2 and type 3 flags, I'd be most interested in who has recently had a new red type flag on them, as opposed to who was leaving them. Title: Re: LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer Post by: Lafu on June 13, 2019, 11:27:02 AM Yes nice feat. and thanks for the List , makes it a bit easyer to get some Overlook and Information of all flags .
Title: Re: LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer Post by: dragonvslinux on June 13, 2019, 11:34:38 AM Nice work, that didn't take long as long as expected then :) Very useful to have a list of active flags to support and oppose.
I was wondering if the order is chronological or otherwise? Ie will new flags appear at top or bottom of list? Title: Re: [Beta] LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer Post by: Xal0lex on June 13, 2019, 02:52:58 PM I've fixed most of the bugs, it should be okay to use now. Everything works. Thanks. It's this bug:To do Use smaller font when only non-DT-members responded. What causes a flag to expire? I'm not sure, maybe it happens when the creator clicked "Delete opinion"? Something like this: Maybe later (much later) :P I did this for my Trust list viewer, but it means I have to update all older pages each time. And with at least daily updates, it's going to be a very long list.<< prev 1 [ 2 ] 3 4 5 6 next >> But thanks again for the development of this tool! I'm not sure, maybe it happens when the creator clicked "Delete opinion"? Others can still Support or Oppose the Flag though. They expire after 3 or 10 years after the incident (based on the type of the flag).See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=36 [...] A new scammer flag should be created for each separate alleged incident. In the spirit of forgiveness/redemption, scammer flags expire 3 years after the incident if the contract was casual/implied, and 10 years after the incident if the contract was written. These expiration times might be administratively changed in specific cases. [...] This specific test flag's "incident date" is May 2016. [...] It is not grossly inaccurate to say that the act occurred around May 2016 [...] So, 3 years after the incident (May 2019 in this case) the flag would have expired. I think it would also be useful to list the name of the accused first, rather than the name of the accuser. When looking through the (upcoming) categories of type 2 and type 3 flags, I'd be most interested in who has recently had a new red type flag on them, as opposed to who was leaving them. Unless there is a very strong demand for this, I won't change it. I don't think it matters much.Title: Re: LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] Post by: Timelord2067 on June 18, 2019, 08:36:03 PM I'm not sure how to tell if an account is banned or not. Vod's BPIP.org shows bans on the profile page (example (https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=buyercodesaws)). If a banned user starts posting again, it marks it as unbanned. And there's my ban list (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5092983.0), which is easiest for automated processing (but doesn't update unbans yet). You may or may not be able to find a host cheaper than the couple dollars per month they charge for what you would likely need however I don’t think those savings would have a material impact on the financial performance of your project. Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] Post by: LoyceV on July 17, 2019, 04:04:13 PM I would imagine your website would be several orders of magnitude less resource intensive. Correct. I really don't need much in terms of data, storage or CPU power, I just have a lot of files. All I need is a server that just stays online.I'm running low on disk space already though, when I got this hosting I didn't expect to ever reach 10 GB of Bitcointalk-related files. When I have time, I'll play around with a VPS to gain experience. I'll stop going off-topic in my own topic now :) Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] Post by: LoyceV on July 20, 2019, 03:21:23 PM I got myself a brand new VPS, and my Trust Flag viewer is the first part of my useful data on Bitcointalk (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5145594.0) running from there instead of my laptop. I'll run a daily cronjob at 3:18 AM (Amsterdam time). With close to 500 flags, it should take about 15 minutes to update.
I'm still uploading the data to my "old" http://loyce.club/trust/flags/ host. I want to see how the VPS performs before I change that. If anything doesn't work, please post here :) Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] Post by: LoyceMobile on July 30, 2019, 05:24:03 AM The last update failed half way. Are the hyperlinks works as intended? Let me explain If I click on a name here http://loyce.club/trust/flags/99.html like Theymos http://loyce.club/trust/flags/personal/35.html I will get the flag user web page on your website BUT if I click on the following links from that page I will get the link to bitcointalk. Isn't may be better to get links to your website here too? (we have the "see why" to get a link to bitcointalk.org) Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] Post by: LoyceMobile on September 03, 2019, 09:50:07 PM Adding a link to a personal page was intentional. To reduce scraping, I won't re-check all Reference topics each day, so there it could take a while to update after a Reference topic gets trashed. These Flags are currenly involved: Reference topic does not exist: Quote 2019-10-07 Mon 03.18h source: loyce.club (http://loyce.club/trust/flags/134.html) 54 Active. They'll show in the next update. I've changed the wording: instead of "No such flag", my Trust Flag viewer (http://loyce.club/trust/flags/?MD) now shows "This Flag has been deleted by the Bitcointalk forum administration".Currently: Quote 818. These Flags are currenly involved: Reference topic does not exist: ... I've referenced in these two threads that the reference threads were either not created by the flag creator, or, do not reference to the person who is the topic of the flag (hence are not valid reference threads) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5165940.0 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5161689.0 <-- this thread needs updating as the person involved has recommenced creating flags against users, however the flag recipient usually aren't the subject of the thread in most cases. It's quite likely other flags have non valid reference links. *edit* Have just recalled this flag (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=435) is a duplicate of a previous (still active) flag (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=372) - essentially double dipping (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual_mandate) / double jeopardy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_jeopardy)... The creator of the second flag has modified their OP that many times (and even references the first flag) bullying anyone [1 (http://loyce.club/trust/2019-08-31_Sat_06.04h/787736.html)] [2 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=131361;dt)] who opposes the flag they created. Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] Post by: LoyceV on October 17, 2019, 10:46:44 AM It's quite likely other flags have non valid reference links. When I wrote about Flags that don't have a valid Reference link, I meant "not valid" from a webbrowser's perspective: The link doesn't exist (anymore). The description on my Trust Flag viewer (http://loyce.club/trust/flags/personal/ReferenceTopicDoesNotExist.html) is better: "Reference topic does not exist". Many Flags have a Reference link with invalid content, but I can't highlight those without doing it manually. I have suggested before that I can allow users to add comments to my Trust Flag viewer, but haven't had any feedback to this. Quote ~ is a duplicate of a previous (still active) flag (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=372) I don't really get why LFC_Bitcoin uses my topic on scammer BetKing.io (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5122856.0) as a reference topic for a Flag on game-protect.Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] Post by: Timelord2067 on October 17, 2019, 01:26:14 PM Thanks for the clarification...

I have suggested before that I can allow users to add comments to my Trust Flag viewer, but haven't had any feedback to this. I made this:New: Add comments to Trust Flags You can now add comments to my Trust Flag viewer, see Post here to add comments to LoyceV's Trust Flag viewer (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193695.0). It'll be fixed in the next update.

I don't think the current hosting is slower. However, I do notice downloads start "slow", then gain speed a bit later. As if the servers are still negotiating how fast their connection is:Code: wget -O /dev/null http://loyce.club/Merit/merit.all.txt I did notice directories with 10,000 files (http://loyce.club/archive/posts/5346/) load a bit slower, maybe because I switched from Nginx to Apache. I could install Nginx, but I'm still not even done with restoring all services. Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] (NOW IN DESCENDING ORDER) Post by: LoyceV on February 07, 2020, 07:21:22 PM Bumping this :) Please review a few Flags once in a while, if you can spare the time. It doesn't matter whether or not you're on DT (that might change depending on how others value your judgement). Once in a while something fails scraping: if the file size is out of order, just skip that one. I only leave them in for the navigation to keep working (and never bothered to build in a check).Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] (NOW IN DESCENDING ORDER) Post by: LoyceV on June 08, 2020, 07:58:50 PM My Trust Flag viewer is currently (a bit) broken, it doesn't update all Flags anymore. I need some time to fix this.
Considering the large number (around 2000) of Flags, I'll also stop scraping all Flags daily, and instead scrape the older Flags less often. I'll update here when it works properly again. Question: should I keep all older records? I now have hundreds of daily snapshots, so you can see who supported which Flag when. Does anyone even use that, or can I just keep at most monthly snapshots? Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] (NOW IN DESCENDING ORDER) Post by: Timelord2067 on June 25, 2020, 01:41:35 AM I now have hundreds of daily snapshots, so you can see who supported which Flag when. Does anyone even use that, or can I just keep at most monthly snapshots? I think your question has been answered through a lack of an answer - I don't feel that people place that great an importance on who did what, when to the minute. The weekly DT update (http://loyce.club/trust/ranking/131361.html) is a good example of how an update each week is sufficient. The only people who would need such information on a minute by minute basis are those either trying to garner support for or against a fresh flag. The novelty wears off after a while. Good point, I can keep weekly snapshots. But for now, it's still not working correctly, and I haven't had the time to figure it out exactly.Title: Re: LoyceV's (Personal) Trust Flag viewer [daily updates] (NOW IN DESCENDING ORDER) Post by: LoyceV on November 30, 2020, 07:41:56 PM Bump
