Title: What happened with the trust rating ?
Post by: N1CKH0LAS on June 14, 2019, 12:42:18 PM
Hey everyone,

What happened with the "old" Trust rating. I used to have 30+ Trade rating, didn't receive any neutral or negative in the past 1 year or so, but the trade rating fell drastically. I've also noticed that for other people ( someone who had 300+ barely has 30-40 now ), so why was everyone's trade ratign reduced by almost 90% ?

Some of us have been activelly trading and building a reputation literally for years, just to see our trade rating almost obsolete now. Once again, we'll have to answer all those "but you won't scam me, right ?" questions and explain everyone that we're actually here since 2013-ish, did countless trades, but for some reason it doesn't show up because it was re-calculated. That will sound fishy to anyone (especially to new-comers), despite being the truth...

So, is there an official explanation about the recent changes ? ( link/source preferred ) Thanks in advance! :)

Use-case #1 is the old trust system, but I made the descriptions on the rating types a bit more general and removed the concept of a trust score. The numbers are now "distinct positive raters / distinct neutral raters / distinct negative raters".

We now have trust flags not trust scores that's why your trust scores were removed. Here you go; Trust flags (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153344.0)
