Title: Low hashrate with multiple GPU'S
Post by: ethhlover on June 15, 2019, 04:17:00 PM
I built a new rig.

Gigabyte Z270p-D3 Mobo Currently had 4x MSI RX 580 Armor 8G OC GPU's installed. Powered Risers

I flashed and tweaked each GPU individually and got them each to a stable 30 MH/s. But once I powered the system with all 4 GPU's installed my hashrate dropped to around 19 MH/s each. Using the blockchain AMD drivers, mining with claymore.

Modded Bios (only edited the 2000 strap) Core Voltage 950 Core Clock 1135 Memory Clock 2200

I cannot create a profile in Radeon setting, it crashes every time I try to add the ethdcrminer64 to the profiles and I am forced to uninstalled and reinstall the driver to correct this issue. MSI Afterburner also will read all 0's for the cards when multiple are connected but works fine when only one is connected. Im stumped here, can anyone help me out?

i did find guide https://mining.help/ any have experience with that ?

Did you use atikmdag patcher to bypass bios signature checking? You can read this guide https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0

It sometimes hashrate drop if you didn't put the 2 molex power cable on the board you should put the 2 molex cable on the board to make sure it gives enough power to your GPUs.

I would like to refer you here in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0 for complete guide on overclocking these cards and how to install it properly in you mining rig.
