The European U21 Championship is a good place to spot talents but it is the worst place if you bet on this event.I have lost so many bets even betting on the favourites many times in the earlier tournaments.For today games I think that Serbia is in better shape than Austria although I think it will end a draw and it will be a balanced game.

The Poland - Belgium was an interesting surprise.

On the other hand, I've watched only half of the Italy - Spain match and I was disappointed.
I hoped that the "new generation" can play a better (cleaner) football and I've seen a "competition" between who can kick more without being seen vs who can pretend to be kicked more and get believed.

Completely agree with you. Youth football is hardly predictable and I rarely bet on these events. Maybe Serbia were considered as favorites today, but they lost 0:2.
FIFA U-20 World Cup which ended few days ago is another proof of your words. Ukraine won this tournament - I think nobody expected that they can win it. In the final they beat South Korea - team which also wasn't among favorites.

Normally, in these U21 type of games you get to see how there are shifts in change for big countries and small countries. For example some third world country that normally doesn't even have a big chance of world cup could beat some big name team like for example Germany or France and what not whereas when it comes to national teams the difference becomes very big.

I think that only happens because any person under 21 that is not playing on a big team will be capable of playing on these U21 teams and could be potentially same talent level wise whereas training wise none are on a big team.

However, on national teams there are players that is u21 but not playing on u21 because they play on teams like real Madrid or Barcelona and what not which they gather more talent and training as well which makes them better. So playing field is quite leveled in these u21 games and the lower odd teams have big chances to win these games.

It's just 45 minutes between Germany vs Serbia, but the Germans are running riots already, 3 - 0 lead at halftime, There's definitely no way back for the Serbians now, it's all about minimizing the damage.

This will be a long season and many good team are already showing power. Belgium reall have a good start and yet come’s short to Spain while Poland really dominates the game. The game today will also be good, I’m rooting for Demark and Serbia, i hope they won on this game.

Belgium ended with 0 points in 3 matches. This new line up will need to step up their game if they want to be as succesfull as the Belgium team with superstars as Lukaku, De Bruyne and Hazard

Romania is killing it. They scored 4 goals in each of the last two matches. I'm curious to see how they are going to perform against France since this is the real threat.

Indeed this youngster championship have made few names, for me Romania is on first place, biggest disappointment is Serbia. Romanian have good perspective with this team and maybe it will be good set up for A team in near future, and for Serbian they mostly really on individuals and this is not good for them considering that this team is mostly form from players that were World champions when there were younger.

Indeed, Serbia is a big disappointment. Didnt expect them to lose vs. Austria and didnt expect them to get devastated vs. Germany, this was hilarious. I am very looking forward to Austria vs. Germany today, Germany has a damn strong team, I am sure we will see a lot of those guys in one of the bigger teams in no time.

I feel sorry for the Brits. They played pretty good imho - well, except that one huge mistake in the match against France - and still have 0 points.
Today's France vs Romania may be a great match or a completely dull one. Will they go for the show or will they go for sharing the points?

I don't think it will be a dull game.Romania has scored 4 goals against England and France have shown good overall football during this tournament.

I think it will be a good game to watch as the U21 teams do not really care much about their defense,they are more focused on the attack zone.

I'm a bit disappointed about France - Romania game which ended 0:0. Both teams didn't showed good efforts yesterday, draw satisfied both teams because such result means that both Romania and France goes to the semifinals. So, none of them didn't wanted to win.
Semifinals will be played on Thursday. Spain - France is hardly predictable game. Romania also showed that we can't understimate them, so it won't be easy for Germany.

I really enjoy watching those games, too. They are way faster and more prone to situations like bad passes or positional errors than games of senior teams leading to interesting situations during the games. The amount of amazing goals is also higher in my opinion (Austria vs Germany eg.)

I am very looking forward to the finals on sunday. Both Germany and Spain played very well in the semi finals, but would definitly rate Germany higher than Spain. What are your bets for the final guys?

I will personally probably choose bets on goals because it's pretty hard to choose a winner here especially because we are talking about a final. In both semi-finals there were over 5 goals scored and we will probably see a final with at least 3-4 goals because both teams have good quality players.

I guess the German team will make it against Spain , dont know but wasnt it the last time the same constellation that they played about Spain !
For sure i will watch this game and fingers crossed about Germany win the Final.
